After being dumped by his long-term boyfriend for being overweight, Henry Beckett decides to make some drastic changes. In a vain attempt at getting his boyfriend back, Henry does the most absurdly frightening thing he can think of. He joins a gym.Reed Henske is a personal trainer who isn’t sure he’ll ever be ready to date again. He’s sick of guys who are only interested in the perfect body … body image, never seeing him for who he really is. As Reed tortures Henry with things like diet and exercise, Henry enamours Reed with recipes and laughter.
As the friendship lines start to blur, Henry is convinced there’s no way Thor-like Reed could ever be interested in a guy like him. Reed just has to convince Henry that life isn’t about reaching your ideal bodyweight. It’s about finding your perfect counterweight.

Love Henry’s story. This is a reread for me. So many great and humourous moments along with romantic ones.
Oh My Goodness, It was just what I needed
One of the Funniest book I’ve read all year. Seriously, This book is HILARIOUS and Oh so Sweet!!
I don’t read a whole lot of contemporary M/M romance, at least in comparison to other subgenres, but this one is a must-read! I rarely see character flaws portrayed in such a realistic and believable, yet still extremely charming and genuinely likeable way, so this turned out to be a wonderfully refreshing and just very natural, easy-flowing story for me.
I just love N R Walkers books and this new one is the same. A light funny read, including Vegemite toast, what more could I ask for in a book. Wonderful side characters, this book also covers some deep themes. This book will be on my re read list.
July 2019 Listen to the audio book. This book has all the feels. A must read or listen to book. Every re read is awesome!
If you’re ever in need of a pick me up this is the perfect book, you’ll be smiling from start to finish. As always NR Walker sucks you into the story and you won’t want to put this one down till you’ve finished so don’t start it unless you have enough time to read the whole book!
This story is the ultimate feel good story. Henry is very relatable and so easy to love.
So sweet and fun, and so inspiring! I love Henry.
I’ll be rereading this one when I need a boost, or just a little extra motivation to keep going at the gym. Now if there was only a Reed at my gym…
