There were three guarantees in Tricia Patterson’s life:
1. Her friendship with Sean Peterson was rock solid
2. She had a career that she absolutely adored
3. This summer was going to be the death of her
With the proverbial “Always a Bridesmaid and Never a Bride” becoming her new mantra, Tricia didn’t know how she was going to survive this year’s round of weddings. Six of them this summer … of them this summer alone! In an attempt to ward off the pity-party, her best friend Sean gives her the perfect solution to help her get through – he’ll pretend to be her boyfriend. While not certain that was going to be of any help, Tricia’s knows it also won’t hurt.
When circumstances beyond Sean’s control keep him from coming home to Tricia’s aid, he sends his brother Ryan in his place. Four years older than his brother and his best friend, Ryan isn’t sure why these weddings are such a big deal. He’s also not sure of what the exact nature is of this relationship between Sean and Tricia. And that’s becoming a big problem because the more time he spends with Tricia, the more he realizes that she’s the one he wants to plan a wedding with.

Samantha Chase has delivered another wonderful romance with The Wedding Season, the first book in her Enchanted Bridal series. Samantha Chase has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in The Wedding Season, they feel like family! Who doesn’t love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, and loving families, who always support one another? Samantha Chase continues to deliver all that and so much more. I really enjoyed The Wedding Season and am looking forward to reading the remaining books in the Enchanted Bridal series. I have read other books by Samantha Chase and have really enjoyed her wonderfully written love stories. Samantha Chase has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. The Wedding Season did not disappoint, I could not put it down and loved every page. I enjoy how Samantha Chase writes from the perspective of the two main characters. That way you get to know what is going on in each of their minds. The Wedding Season is a wonderful love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. The Wedding Season be filled with such moments, and with so much more. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a Samantha Chase love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. The Wedding Season is the story of Tricia Patterson, speech therapist and Ryan Peterson, architect and older brother of Tricia’s best friend, Sean. Tricia and Sean have been best friends since they met on Tricia’s first day in high school where Tricia was the new girl. Tricia lives in Sean’s childhood home. Sean is working as a contractor rebuilding infrastructure in the Asia. Tricia and Sean have received invitations to the weddings of six of their friends. Sean informs Tricia that he will spend the summer at home so that they can attend the weddings together and pretend to be dating. Sean is missing because of a weather incident in the Philippines, Ryan wants to tell Tricia in person about Sean. Once they able to communicate with Sean and learn that he is only injured, suffering from a broken leg, arm and ribs, Sean convinces Ryan to take his place at the weddings. Ryan asks Sean if he has any romantic feelings for Tricia, Sean assures him that they are only friends. Ryan has been attracted to Tricia. Ryan and Tricia begin spending time together and things quickly heat up between the two of them, and they grow closer. As they spend more time together, they share secrets that they haven’t shared with anyone before, and realize they may have something more. I love that both Ryan and Tricia were both so vulnerable and that each of them changed because of their love for one another. Then a surprise plot twist changes everything that they had built with one another, and another plot twist brings them back together. I loved the story and am so glad that both Tricia and Ryan got their happily ever after. My favorite part in the book is the epilogue and how it wraps up all the details of the happily ever after, and it did not disappoint, I loved Sean’s reaction. The Wedding Season contains all the things that I have come to love most in a Samantha Chace story, romance, great characters and setting, bittersweet moments and the plot twist that ties it all together. Amazing story. I could not put it down.

The Wedding Season by Samantha Chase:
Again … very refreshing and fun. This is another one of those stories that has been done over and over again. When that happens, it’s really hard not to make it predictable. This one is a pretend relationship. And again, as it always does in romance fiction..the heart will somehow get in the way. The fun part is in the when or the why or the how. Samantha Chase nailed it on all the fronts 🙂 and she even gave us a little twist with the who 🙂
The Wedding Season made me very happy when I read it over the weekend. Even the conflict didn’t take it away. It’s a very well written story that unfolded perfectly. It was fun and flirty and sexy. It’s all you could ask for in a novella AND this theme. My heart truly did sing for this one. **happy sigh**
Oh my god i cannot gush about this story enough. I got caught up and finished it right away. It’s a very easy read. Just wonderful all around.
Good writing. Funny and interesting characters. Adorable story
Typical romance but good summer beach read.
Good beach read
I enjoyed this story. It was not the story I was expecting but was
Pleasantly surprised by the tale. Enjoyed the characters and always happy with a happy ending even when you think it might not happen .
This story was such a sweet, romantic and fun read. Trish and Sean meet when she moves to Long Island and they become best of friend, everyone thinks they are more. When they get invited to several weddings during the summer Sean comes up with a plan that they should go as a couple, she redily agrees. Unfortunately circumstances get in the way and Sean convinces his older brother, Ryan to go in his place. Trish isn’t thrilled but agrees, she hasn’t spent much time with Sean’s older brother since he was ahead of they by four years. Ryan is adorable, sweet and such a great brother in this story; he’s also a great friend. Trish is so sweet, carrying and always lookin out for others. Trish and Ryan don’t realized the forces behind how they got together and once they finds out it can ruin what they’ve built or make them stronger. I loved the slow burn, the sweetness, the connection, the family bond and most of all the love they all radiate. This story is a definite must read. .
Even though it was rather predictable, this was better than a lot of romantic novels. Tricia is renting her best friends childhood home. But Sean is out of the country. They agree to attend the numerous weddings of various friends, but plans change when Sean gets hurt. His brother steps in and things take off from there.
This story was a quick read.
Light predictable read. Cute
Cute story! Fun easy read!
A little too predictable
Good beach read
I guess “chick lit” is just not for me. Totally predictable and not believable or that interesting.
Enjoyable. Good beach read.
Kept you interested
Lots of fun to read. Has a few twists and turns to get you going.
Great book to read when you just need to feel good =)
This book was so poorly written that I couldn’t get past Vhapter 2. It seemed like a 4th grader wrote it. Terrible. I hate to be so negative, but there was nothing redeeming about this book.
