Did she mention that her ex-best friend, Ariana Chamberlain, had just walked back into their lives after cutting them all off completely two years ago?
No, her life wasn’t complicated at all.

This book was a little on the long side, but so worth it! It really went into some places I did not at all expect. There is some serious love and heartbreak contained within these pages. I got the first book of this series recently for free somewhere and was hooked so when I had the opportunity to get this one, I jumped on it. I am a total junkie for rock star romances. This does not disappoint even though it really isn’t a “rock star” romance. The fact that the guys are famous musicians is important to the plot, but not who they are as people, which Heather points out. I loved watching the transition of the different relationships through the story, though some of it was HARD to to read.
Another fantastic book from Sian Ceinwen! it follows on from the equally fantastic book “The Album”. The guys of Cruise Control love with all their being and this story showed the deep love between Harrison and Heather. Harrison and Heather have been together since high school and nothing could get between them…until something did. It broke my heart and brought tears to my eyes, a testament to Sian Ceinwan who writes so powerfully. I highly recommend this book!

Sian took us on waves of emotional highs and lows as we followed Cruise Control member, Harrison Fletcher and New York fashion designer, Heather Lillian York. I was totally caught up with their very public personas as mega rock star idols, but more fascinated with the way Sian unravelled their intimate, private lives which made me see them as human beings, having to deal with the pains of broken relationships and how difficult it is to foster those relationships when the ever- judgemental media intrudes into your lives and expose it for the world to see. I was thoroughly invested in each page and felt the anguish of betrayal, the hilarious teasing and the many steamy lovemaking that would have you fanning yourself throughout the book! Sian has exploded Cruise Control into the most famous rock band on the fictional stage so get lost in music if you are a die hard fan and a deeply satisfying book to hit the shelves!
I received an ARC from Booksirens for which I am leaving a voluntary review.
OMG – what a great read. This was so worth falling asleep at 2:30 in the morning just so I could finish it! The characters are so relatable and it was very easy to feel all the emotions that Harrison and Heather were feeling with all they have gone through.
10 years is a long time to be in a relationship with a rock star. You’ve never worried about your partner cheating on you and knew they loved you no matter what. But what happens when you’re finally engaged and the rock star is drugged and he sleeps with another woman? I can see where Heather was coming from by not being able to forgive Harrison for sleeping with another woman – even though he was a victim. But I was also mad because while she was in therapy, it seemed like she really didn’t want to forgive him. Luckily, love wins out and there is a HEA for Heather and Harrison.
This is the kind of book that if you love being sucked into all the drama, heartache, passion, pronlems, unhappiness, happiness, then this is the book for you.
I will definitely go back and read the 1st book just because this book has drawn me in. I cannot wait to see if any other books are written about Sebastian and Hayden.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy through Hidden Gems ARCs for an honest review.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. The story of Heather and her rock star boyfriend Harrison. Heather is stood doing her designer clothes, while the boyfriend just as famous as ever. It was great story worth buying.

The Wedding revolves around Heather and Harrison, #couplegoals. While you don’t have to read book 1, you really should. Then you’ll have all the details and know that you should be #teamheather on the conflict between her and Ariana. I didn’t like Ariana in the first book and I still wasn’t crazy about her in this book. Gabriel and Harrison were making me mad for Heather by expecting her to just be over it and act like nothing ever happened. Heather and Sebatian’s friendship is the BEST and I absolutely LOVE the way these two banter with each other. This story was so good! The characters are great. I can’t wait for the next one!
Fashion designer Heather is thrilled when her long time love, Harrison, member of the rock band Cruise Control, proposes, but she’s got a lot on her plate. In addition to planning her wedding, she is preparing for her first show at New York’s Fashion Week, and she is also stressed out by the return of her former best friend, Ariana. When Ariana disappeared (see The Album), Heather was terribly hurt and she’s finding no forgiveness in her heart until the unthinkable happens and she realizes just how much she needs her best friend.
I am glad Ariana is back in this book. She is band member Gabe’s girlfriend and she hurt this close knit group of friends in book one when she ran out on Gabe, and the band members, who had come to love her as one of their own. That’s the secondary story here because while some members of the band are willing to give her another chance, Heather and Sebastian are not so inclined.
This book is kind of slow moving for about the first half. It’s more like a day to day account of what’s happening in Heather’s life, kind of mundane without much drama but I love Heather and Harrison to pieces. They are wonderfully sweet together and so much in love that it’s really endearing. However, in the second half of the book their beautiful love will be put to the test.
In books one and two of this series, I really feel like I’ve gotten to know these characters and I am invested in their stories all the way. I enjoyed this romance a lot and am looking forward to Sebastian’s story.

Loved It!!
With Cruise Control being at the top of their game this book is about their bassist Harrison Fletcher and his girlfriend Heather who have been together for ten years. Heather is now trying to prove herself as a new designer who has more to her than being a rock star’s girlfriend. All the guys are best of friends and they have always treated Heather as family since they knew each other for years before the paparazzi even heard of the guys. I loved the dirty banter between Sebastian and Heather which many times had everyone rolling in laughter.
Everything was working out perfect in Heather’s life; Harrison had proposed to her, her business was taking off like gangbusters and friends old and new were coming back into her life. What could go wrong when you have the perfect man by your side?! Oh, just wait because there is a killer surprise that just may break the perfect world of Heather’s.
This was a book that once I started I just couldn’t put down. I can’t wait to see what comes next in this rock romance series.
The Wedding by Sian Ceinwen is the second book in the Cruise Control series. And this one was a bit tougher read due to the events and obstacles in the lovestory of Heather snd Harrison. The road to forever can be rocky and turbulent … add in the fact that its the livestock of a Rockstar and his fashion designer fiance and you have the trauma of it all being in the public spotlight and the food for the gossips. I definitely went on 5ge emotional Rollercoaster ride with these characters as they navigated their way through, hurting and finding comfort, and hoping for a happily ever after. I really enjoyed the story and characters, and can not wait to dive into the next book when it releases.
This book brings a new couple to the front while picking up where the first one left off. A couple who have been together for a number of years finally move forward with an engagement. They are happy and looking to the future. When one of them makes a major mistake, can the other forgive and move forward with all the plans. A former friend, who broke the heart of good friend, comes back wanting to make amends. Will they make up and go back to the way things were before? The book is a wonderfully well written book that flows effortlessly. It is a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

Wow, the author rue knows how to write. This book is Heather and Harrison’s book that focuses on their wedding sorta. There is loads of drama, anger and more twists and turns than a winding road. The flow of the storyline was great I could not put it down.

“The Road is Long, With Many a Winding Turns,” from The Hollies
At least, that’s one of the first thoughts I had when I was reading THE WEDDING. The path the characters take in this story isn’t all neat and tied up with a bow. Just like real life.
I am amazed when I read this author’s work as to how she can write so vividly and with such emotion. It keeps me coming back for more, that’s for sure.
I only needed one box of tissues for this book. The laughter was kept to a minimum in this story. The raw emotion was, on a scale of 1 to 10, running about 12 ½. There was a bit of steam but it was not the overriding factor in this story. Yes, it played a significant part in the plot…well…it’s probably better to read the book rather than having me tell you all the best parts of the book here.
It really is worth the time.
I really enjoyed this book and this duet. I loved the storyline, the characters, the devotion and love the characters have for each other, the hot scenes, the emotional aspect of the book, the writing, the flow of the story, etc.
So many things to enjoy. I did shed a few tears and my heart hurt during a portion of this book. Gratefully, the ending was a happily ever after!
Book two in the Cruise Control series brings Heather and Harrison’s story. The author takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride reading their story. She brings a cast of supporting characters to help bring the story around and keeps you interested in what happens to Hayden and Sebastian. It’s well written, moves fluidly and is an entertaining read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I really enjoyed reading this follow up book. Heather and Harrison are very much in love and looking forward to their nuptials, that is until someone from the past turns up!

I absolutely loved The Album for it’s originality so different from the usual rock star romance, so I was excited to read the sequel The Wedding. This continuation of the Cruise Control concentrates on the story of Heather and Harrison.
Heather always appeared to be a girl with tons of confidence letting nothing get in her way, but this book reveals that she has insecurities just like the rest of us. When Ariana, girlfriend to Gabriel returns after breaking his heart, Heather is just not ready to forgive and forget as she was deeply hurt by her friend’s abrupt departure without a work. Band member Sebastian who had to pick up the pieces left of Gabriel when Ariana left is also not ready to accept her return and he and Heather band against Ariana causing friction within the band.
When Harrison proposes to her Heather feels on top of the world until she is knocked off their love pedestal by a cruel and totally unexpected event which shakes her to her core. Here all the devastation of the break up is laid bare and we feel Harrison and Heather’s anguish wondering if they will ever be able to recover.
This story is full of anguish as was The Album, but it also shows the power of love and forgiveness and how important friends are to your survival. It also shows how difficult life can be for those in the spotlight and how things are blown out of proportion by the media. A great second book in this series and even though it is a stand alone I would advise readers to read The Album first.
I was completely drawn into the love affair between Heather and Harrison and equally devastated when they were broken. Heather has so much flair and grit, but with simple insecurities from her childhood that endear you to her in so many ways. Harrison is just a sexy rock god who melts your Kindle. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough to find out how they ended up. Definitely intriguing so much steam, you couldn’t help but want them to win.
