USA Today bestselling series.India Steele is desperate. Her father is dead, her fiancé took her inheritance, and no one will employ her, despite years working for her watchmaker father. Indeed, the other London watchmakers seem frightened of her. Alone, poor, and at the end of her tether, India takes employment with the only person who’ll accept her – an enigmatic and mysterious man from America. … man from America. A man who possesses a strange watch that rejuvenates him when he’s ill.
Matthew Glass must find a particular watchmaker, but he won’t tell India why any old one won’t do. Nor will he tell her what he does back home, and how he can afford to stay in a house in one of London’s best streets. So when she reads about an American outlaw known as the Dark Rider arriving in England, she suspects Mr. Glass is the fugitive. When danger comes to their door, she’s certain of it. But if she notifies the authorities, she’ll find herself unemployed and homeless again – and she will have betrayed the man who saved her life.
With a cast of quirky characters, an intriguing mystery, and a dash of romance, THE WATCHMAKER’S DAUGHTER is the start of a thrilling new historical fantasy series from the author of the bestselling Ministry of Curiosities, Freak House, and Emily Chambers Spirit Medium books.

Easy, fun story. Enjoyed all the characters, the setting, and the story. Could have been a much longer saga, probably.
This was a Great book totally enjoyed the read.
This is a decent set, i hate how short each book is. You end up spending aloy since you have to keep buying the shorter books.
Loved this book!
A real page turner, couldn’t put it down. Interesting characters, I really liked the women characters in the story. A good read.
A good book if you like historical romance mysteries
It was just okay. The concept was interesting but the book felt incomplete. There was not much of a plot. I guess you have buy the other books but I don’t think I will.
Great first book in a series really drew me into the time. And the characters are well developed -can’t wait to read the next one
Goid book. Reading the whole series. Do not expect much romance. There is a little but is not the main part of the story. Great characters.
Left me wanting more
I like magical themes and the series component so you get to see characters develop with each new book
I really enjoyed this story, but would have given it 5 stars except for the ending. It builds the relationship between the two main characters very strangely, but forces you to read the next book to see what happens. It was just an unfinished story in my opinion. But I enjoyed the characters and the story…quite inventive!
a fun and romp through a historical time setting
I enjoyed this book would like to read the others in the series
I loved this book. Can’t wait to get the sequel.
I love the Victorian setting. A different kind of story bringing in Magic. I liked it.
