Due to darker themes, more mature content, and possible triggers, the recommended reading age for this third installment in the enchanting Alinthia series is eighteen and older. This is upper YA/NA crossover reverse harem paranormal romance which gets steamier as the series develops. This is not a standalone read. Full-length 86,000 word novel.more
Emotionally confused!!!
I was tormented and broken over Dane!!! This was a very dark time and place for him. The author made you feel all the pain and anguish that her characters was going through with her unique and talented writing ability.
Alinthia do not have the emotional maturity to handle the situation, but this is not the biggest problem she have to face Zorc, Jentarr and Arantu the list of enemies just keep getting longer. I didn’t know if I wanted to cry or beat up someone by the end of this book. My emotions was so high!!! One great read
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Alinthia is in government custody now where she meets different species of ailiens. Alinthia is shocked to discovers that someone close to her men double crossed them. She works on making her abilities stronger. Then discovers her men have been captured also by the enemy. When she finally escapes the government with help from unexpected people she trains to be able to save her guys . There are many twists and discoveries though out the story. This is yet another amazing book that this series just keeps getting better and better.
Alinthia has been taken by a special, secret Government agency. Her boys have been knocked out and kidnapped and taken by Alandra and her father, General Arantu. And this is where the book begins, with a bang. And it never slows down!! It’s filled with twists and turns, new powers, new friends, old friends, Alinthia’s desperation to find her guys, and the horrible things the guys suffer at the hands of Alandra!
When I read this I went through a myriad of emotions and back again! I felt frustration, tenseness, sadness, laughter, anger, surprise, irritation, happiness, worry and of course feeling all warm and fuzzy. Lol…it’s hard to believe one book could pull all this from you, but this one does. It’s like a crazy rollercoaster ride, like none I’ve never been on. It does get a bit dark at times, not such nice times. *head bowed*
Tori/Alinthia totally rocks as she trains and learns to develop and control her powers more. I love some of the training scenes! Siobhan does a really great job in writing those. I felt like I could picture it so well. With so much in this book I felt that way. I kept thinking wow, I’d love to see this made into a movie!!! The action in it rocks!!
I’m looking forward to the Audible on this!! I’ve listened to it on the first two and it is SO GOOD!! The narrators are top quality!! This one will probably be the best on Audible!!
I love this series!! It’s definitely one of my favorite series and I recommend it highly!! Whether you read it or listen to it on Audible, you will love it!!!
FIVE WARRIOR PRINCESS STARS!!!
The continuing saga of Alinthia and her protectors has grabbed my attention and won’t let go. The depth of the story just keeps building and building, but this book made my heart ache from the depraved things being waged against them. Ready for the next book!
I should know by now that the deeper we get in a series, the more Siobhan Davis is going to test our characters- and oh my do they get tested in book 3- SD throws so much at Alinthia and the men by her side. The stakes are increasingly larger and more dangerous- the tests more brutal and heart breaking. But nothing helps solidify the unity of a team, of a family, like adversity- and these characters only get more resolved, and stronger, with every hurdle that comes their way. But even better is that we see Alinthia start to stand more on her own- to lean into her full self. Especially she sufferers, isolated and alone. But the feelings between them all- oh lawdy, the floodgates are opening, the bonds are stronger, but they still have a few hurdles yet to go.
More secrets, painful betrayals, and twists abound. Enemies are multiplying, and sacrifices must be made. And, oh my heart, does Siobhan pull at our feelings. We’re recognizing that our beloved characters may indeed be up for the challenge- but the costs may be too great. This is an edge of your seat thriller- can’t get enough!
I read The Warrior Princess in one sitting.
Betrayal, power plays, guilt, sacrifice, love — the story is full of action, hard choices and ultimately understanding the power within.
I’m really loving this series.
This series is so good! I usually don’t read this type of paranormal book, but Siobhan has me hooked on Alinthia and her protectors. This book was gritty, and the boys being away from Alinthia has damaged all of them. I can’t wait to see where we go from here.
This series just keeps getting better and better! This book was full of twists, turns, deceit, and double crossing. Alinthia is really starting to master her powers and is finding out so much of what she’s been told is half truths or whole lies. When sh*t hits the fan she will stop at nothing to save those she cares about, even if it causes an all out war in the galaxy. Can’t wait to see what Siobhan has in store for us next!
Third book in and it isn’t letting up!!
By now, the third book in tends to lag, drag on and you’re just hoping for it to end.
Not with this one!!!!!!!
Everyone is hurt and processing their feeling.
Plans are needing to be made and it is a dangerous game of chess everyone is playing.
Lives are hanging on by a thread and no one knows who is on who’s side.
Betrayal, pain, growth, and revenge.
That is what you’ll find in this book.
I hurt for Dane so much and seek revenge for him and the others.
Alinthia has to prove herself and quickly come up with a plan. A plan that will have her tearing across the universe and nothing will hold her back.
Will they be able to recover from this massive blow??
Bring on The Chosen One!!
This series is consiming my life! I am devouring one right after the other. Alinthia will be tested. Her power in increasing and when it’s unleashed, she is unstoppable.
Her training continues but the enemy is coming and it’s one they didn’t see coming. A betrayal will lead to Alinthia’s kidnapping by an unexpected captor. Cooper was her protector but he was outnumbered by a different enemy. The guys will not lay idle and let their family be torn apart. In their attempt to rescue Cooper, they were captured as well.
Alinthia is being forced to train because her captors have their own agenda. She’ll do anything she can to get her guys back. Being separated is already a weakness, but not knowing ehere they are or if they are safe, is taking its toll.
Cooper, Maddox, Beck and Dane will do what’s necessary to stay alive and get back to Alinthia. While Alinthia is being taught to summon her powers at will, Dane will make soul sucking sacrifices to keep his brothers safe until they can escape.
Alinthia will finally get the chance to save her boys rather than waiting for them to save her. Lives are always lost when a battle becomes the only way to win. It won’t be easy. The darkness will be called upon when Alinthia is pushed to her limit. It brings the power she needs to win, but at what cost?
I was on the edge of my seat for most of this one. The separation was difficult because the entire time I wished for their reunion, very well knowing that it wouldn’t be the same. Alinthia is moving toward reaching her full potential, but she struggles with control. The bonds they all share have grown and their love is strong, but one of them is weighed down by guilt and shame. Some of their enemies have been eliminated, but there are always more to come. The chosen has her protectors back, but the war has only just begun.
This book was insane and I literally finished it in three hours. My heart was broken for most of this book and I was literally crying, my heart aches for Dane and I really hope he can pull himself out of this spot he’s in. I can’t wait to read the next. I’m in love with theses
Boys
OMG, this series! Okay, so in this book, we finally get a sense of what Alinthia is capable of and get a bigger scope of her capacity as leader in the grand scheme of things. With Siobhan Davis as the queen of twists and turns, the story took another few spins and left me as whiplashed as the characters. Seriously, I couldn’t trust what anybody said and second-guessed my predictions of where the story was going! I’m now afraid to jump to conclusions because I know I’ll be blindsided at some point in the next book! This series is giving me the same kind of heady vibe as the Saven series which I loved for its unpredictability and the love story that unfolded as the books went on. Of course, we have Alinthia building relationships with all four of her protectors and I’m still figuring out how this will work in the long run. Meanwhile, there are bumps and obstacles on the road of this 5-way love that is preventing the full power of their bond from being experienced, but watch out when that is unleashed!!! As usual, I can’t wait for the next book 🙂
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance complimentary copy of this book.
This is book 3 in the series and Oh My, what a rollercoaster this one was. Alinthia has been captured by a secret government agency but to her the worst is that she is separated from her guys. And to make matters worst, she finds out that they have been caught too and are prisoners to General Arantu’s daughter. She will do anything to go and rescue those four guys that mean the world to her.
Ah, I loved reading this book, why? I felt like we got to know Alinthia more and we get to see how much she loves each of the guys individually and to what extend she is willing to go to save their lives. Alinthia is such a badass in this book, she isn’t afraid to learn more about her powers, but beware because we get to learn there is a line that she can cross while learning how to use her powers. A line that if she isn’t careful enough she can cross to the evil side instead of staying on the good side, something that Alinthia has to really be careful and needs her guys and good people next to her to remain on the right side.
Oh, get ready for the action pack on this one and to meet some new characters, I can’t wait to see more of them on the next book 🙂 And I can’t wait to find out more about Alinthia’s powers and her prophecy, because we are finally getting there…loving all the action and we cannot complain the romance thrown in because OMG, those four and HOT, HOT, HOT and their story lines just got twisted in so many ways but I really can’t say much, can I? I can only say that I can’t wait for the next book and let’s not talk about me getting another book hangover because Siobhan and her books totally get me on book hangovers ALL THE TIME!
5 out of 5 stars for sure…if you haven’t checked out this series and love some alien and reverse harem this you will love this one for sure!
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Siobhan Davis adds The Warrior Princess to her Alinthia series, a sci-fi, new adult romance series where Alinthia alone has been captured by a human government agency while her protectors were abducted the viciously cruel Alandra and sinister General Arantu.
All is not lost though, while Alinthia was expecting to be rescued by her gorgeous protectors, other forces have been devising ways to help out all along. Not just to escape, but to assist her in learning how to use and control her powers, save her guys and carry out her destiny. But saving the galaxy has put her on a narrow path between right and wrong. Where will her choices lead her?
While Alinthia deals with the aftermath of her friend’s betrayal, she also finds new friends in unlikely places. But Coop, Beckett, Maddox and especially Dane are suffering at the clutches of their enemies and odds are they would get out unscathed.
Siobhan Davis is a stalwart of the new adult, sci-fi romances, producing nonstop exciting stories full of angst and drama. She crafts a fiery heroine who’ll do anything to protect the people she loves. Davis matches fire with fire presenting evenly fierce alpha male protectors who will suffer through the cruelest of tortures in order to keep her safe.
The Warrior Princess will trap you in its thrilling spell and put the reader through a gamut of emotions, from surprise, to laughter and sexiness, to raw sadness going to darker than expected places. I can’t wait to see how this all unfolds in the following installments.
Without being able to reveal much else so as not to spoil any one, I can say that I really enjoyed Alinthia’s ongoing training. The scenes were so vivid, I could see them clearly in my mind’s eye.
The Warrior Princess is book #3 of the Alinthia series by Siobhan Davis. It is a new adult, sci-fi reverse harem romance. Told from various points of view with a cliffhanger.
What an amazing novel! This novel made my heart break and be placed back together over and over again. That is the art of story telling.
The Warrior Princess is the third installment of the Alinthia series! This book best by far in the series. Everything was on pointe. I love how the previous books in the series were amazing, but the twists and turns in each installment make the series completely enjoyable.
Tori was a breath of fresh air in the novel. I love how she has completely embraced her destiny. She is a force to be rockoned with. Tori is one to completely fear in this novel. I love how feisty she and how cool she is. Her strength and character growth is phenomenal.
The boys Maddox, Dane, Cooper, and Beckett are just so sweet. I love how they keep it together for Tori. Their love for her is plain amazing. They endure so much torture and push through just because of her. / Dane, my heart breaks for him. Some of the things the brothers encounter in the novel are just horrific. Their perseverance through their trials truly makes them worthy of Alinthia.
The romance in this novel is phenomenal. I love how the relationship between Tori and the brother focuses on pure friendship and then romantic love. They have so many tender moments with each other. And, there are tons of sizziling chemistry too. I really like how the romance is a slow burn with tons of chemistry. The sex scenes are super steamy and added so much to the book.
Besides the chemistry and romance, this novel had so many other beautiful aspects. I love how the action is so detailed and realistic. I love fight scenes are written. There is no sugar coating on how brutal the fights Tori and her boys encounter. In addition, the expansion of the galaxy and the world is super awesome. I love how there are new races of aliens and new cultures introduced in the novel. Plus, with all the amazing twists and turns, I’m out of words on how to rate the novel.
The villlans are another plus in the novel. Alandra, and so many others who seem to be Tori’s friends are not who they are supposed to be. I really like how the entire novel is a huge mystery to solve. Nobody is who they seem to be/
All in all, this is an breathtaking novel. Words cannot describe how amazing it is. I can only say, just read it for yourself to figure out why it is a must read.
This is the third book in the Alinthia series and boy oh boy my emotions were on a huge roller coaster throughout this book. Tori/Alinthia finds out more about her heritage and even more about herself and her powers. Everything that happens during this book is more on a darker level but do not let that turn you off from reading it, there are reasons. I can not wait to read the fourth book in the series even though it will be the conclusion. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I sat down with this book as and ARC. I though in my mind that this was the last of the series for some reason but it’s not thank goodness. If this was the last I don’t think she could have done it the justice she has so far. To have seen what twist the stories take and the heart ache that is developed and still to be worked through. Their would be no way this series could have been completed in this book. I love how the story is unwinding and the relationships and characters are developing. I can’t wait for the final book when it all comes together for everyone. As the guys keep getting bigger pieces of my heart and you keep hoping for them to pull it to feather in the in for HEA we all want and crave for them. They will all deserve it when the stories done it fells like.
All I can say is wow!! I had been waiting for this book and it did not disappoint!! I love the relationships between Tori/ Alinthia and her guys! This book keeps you guess what’s going to happen next and leaves you needing more!! Now to wait for book four!!
I’m really enjoying how this story is coming along. Alinthia is really coming into her powers, and accepting her role in saving the Universe and loving each of her guys. I love the alien aspect, and all the magical powers Alinthia has. Alinthia gets lots of training done in this book, and she’s starting to kick some real butt. This is 3rd book in this series, and you should definitely start from the beginning before reading this one. This is a Sci-Fi Reverse Harem Romance. I’m not usually a big fan of the reverse harem scenario, but I’m loving this one. Siobhan Davis is one of my favorite authors, so that may have a pinch to do with it. This one definitely goes more into the NA category, whereas the previous 2 books felt more YA. The graphic nature of some of the scenes don’t fit in with the YA category. Alinthia has been captured by the government, and her guys have been captured by Alandra. Alandra is a disgusting female, who does absolutely reprehensible things to the guys; especially Dane. I really wish Dane didn’t make the choice he did because it really didn’t help anything, so it all was pretty much for nothing. Those scenes definitely made my heart hurt. I’m enjoying the connection Alinthia has to all the guys. The romance between Alinthia and each of the 4 guys is really sweet. Some of her endearments for the guys; especially Beck, bother me sometimes, but overall, I’m loving her connection with each guy. Dane has been my favorite because I love a gruff alpha that has walls up, so I’d really like to see Alinthia and Him connect more deeply. I’m not sure how I feel about Beck yet, he may be just a bit too shy for me so far, but I see him coming around. Cooper and Maddox are both great too. Entertaining and engrossing, really looking forward to the next book! There’s still lots of story to be told. There is a bit of a cliffhanger, but this is a complete book. Siobhan Davis has cliffhangers, but she completes a full scenario in each book, so I don’t mind her cliffhangers.
If you’re brand new to this series and you just so happened to stumble across this review, stop what you’re doing and go and immediately get the first book. For real. I mean that 1000000%
Ooommg. I feel like I have been waiting forEVER for this book to release (okay, that’s a bit dramatic seeing as it’s only been 5 months since I finished book 2, The Secret Heir) and I am so so so so sssssoooo thrilled when I saw it pop up on my Kindle today!
I guess I should start this with “this does NOT contain spoilers” because again, I just do NOT do spoilers! 🙂
okay okay okay, review time!
O.M.G. – IT WAS SO GOOD!
I want to say that in my review for book 1, The Lost Savior, or perhaps even book 2, The Secret Heir, that I wish this series would go on FOREVER, well I still stand by that statement. Seriously I just do not tire of reading about these characters.
This book for me felt the most heart wrenching. I can’t imagine how emotionally exhausting it was for the author to write, because let me tell you something – reading it? ah man..get your tissues out now.
All of our main characters are experiencing so much. If it were me, I don’t know if I’d be strong enough. The sheer will and strength that each of them exhibit, is so impressive and admirable. Obviously, you’ll know what I mean once you’ve read this book, but just trust me here okay? They are kick ass. lol
I am so nervous and excited for the next book to release, which I believe is set for sometime in 2019? Not 100% sure about that but still..I’m excited because uhmm..hello? Do you guys not fully understand how much I love this series? and nervous because OMG. SO MUCH IS HAPPENING!
I have so much more I want to say and gush about this story but I feel like it would just come a little to close to spoilers so I’m obviously not going to do that.
If you’ve been following along with this series, you are NOT going to be disappointed with this most recent addition to the Alinthia story. You will be riding a thrilling roller coaster full of the best and worst emotions. You’re going to be SO happy and SO pissed at the same time!
I’ve already added the next installment, The Chosen One, to my TBR and until it releases, I know I’m going to be re-reading the first 3 books because I just can’t get enough of these characters! <3
