Their enemy is getting away. Their danger is just getting started…
Alice is in hiding. Holed up in a magically-protected house without her main weapon, the supernatural bounty hunter wants nothing more than to hunt Nyx down. But her enemy is in hiding too, and without her powers the dangerous Pain Children are more than a match for her.
When Alice learns that Isaac Moreau remains in Magistrate … in Magistrate custody, she has no choice but to follow Nyx’s trail without backup. Her only chance to catch the villain may lie in Isaac’s attempt to learn the dark, deadly secret of the Void. His failure could get them all killed in the process.

Okay, The Void Weaver did not disappoint!
It was impossible to put this book down!
I really liked and enjoyed book one but I LOVED book two. You get more action, more magic and tons of surprises! The story is fast paced and exciting. You will lose sleep with this one! It’s so good!
I love Alice and Isaac. I love their growth throughout this book and I loooove their relationship! Cameron and his cats were a great addition to the story. I can’t wait to learn more about him and I really hope we get more time at the cat sanctuary in book three!
AND ALICE FIGURING OUT HER POWERS AND USING THEM!?! The excitement was real!
Okay. I’m off to read book three!
This series just keeps getting better and better! With an intriguing storyline and awesome characters that continue to grow and develop, I find myself hooked and unable to put this down! A fantastic urban fantasy read with some incredible world building that I would totally recommend!
I have been a fan of this author before, but after finishing this second book in the Half-Lich series, she’s fast becoming a favorite. This book started up fairly close to where the first book left off. Alice is an interesting character, and I really like how the author is telling us her back story a little at a time. I really like Isaac, Jim, and Cameron who are secondary characters and I hope we get to know more about them (maybe their own stories?). This book kept me engaged from start to finish, and I am really loving this series. I can’t wait to read the next book. Highly recommend!
creepy-fantastic with a splash of magic!
This series will hook you and consume you! Its so intense and fun-tastic! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough ! Yea is this good. I got my favorite leads and new favorite sidekicks and of course the big bad villain: she needs to be stopped like yesterday. If you like mages with supernatural twist this is one you dont wana miss! On to my last book on this trilogy! Night and Chaos here i come! Must read in order to understand #iLikeDanger
I really liked this new installment as it allows us to learn a bit more about the void weavers but more importantly we learn of Isaac past and it’s not a easy childhood that he had. This gives us a better understanding of his actions. We also learn more about the system of the mages which is a bit complicated.
This story is darker, fast paced but you are caught into the story so it’s easy to get lost and forget time. We also see how Alice is improving and i must say i do like cameron and his big cats i would be happy to learn more about him.
the only negative point is the cliffhanger i really hate those so i’m glad the trilogy is already complete
I loved the first book and knew I would love this one as well. I was not disappointed…I was actually surprised. It exceeded my expectations. The characters were defined more and you get to know them in more depth. I liked the new character that were added. When I finished the only thing I could say was “Oh my! That was GOOD!”
Great continuation of Book 1. The Pain Children are a little scary but I like it.
Really love the development of Alice and Isaac as well as the new characters that come into play.
Really recommend this series.
