All she wants is to make a difference. All he wants, is her. The last thing Arabella wants is to accept that Bjorn is her mate. Not that she doesn’t like him, quite the opposite, but because it would mean giving up her position on the Shifter Council. Bjorn will do anything to make Ari his, even if it means finding a way around the rules. Because if there’s one thing he wants, it’s for her to be … it’s for her to be happy.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
Another fast paced instalment of the Paranormal Council series, where two council membersb, Ari and Bjorn wrestle with love vs duty, Bjorn faces some difficult choices if he wants to claim the foxy woman of his dreams, and Ari has to challenge traditional values. an exciting, emotional rollercoaster that kept me interested to the end.
Arabella is a fox shifter on the Paranormal Council. Her mother is pushing her to marry a nice fox shifter and settle down and have babies. Bjorn is a bear shifter and also on the Paranormal Council. He loves Ari with all his heart and she is afraid is anyone finds out they’re mates she’ll lose her position on the council. Bjorn is determined to find a way around that. He is so sweet and easy going and would be the perfect mate. One of my favorite parts is where she’s drinking with her mom while Bjorn is with her dad. This is a sweet romance and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The Vixen’s Bark by Laura Greenwood is a shifter romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Libby Kerk.
I just love Laura’s books! They always leave me begging for more! I cannot wait to dive into the third book in the series The Necromancer’s Prey to get Alden and Rory’s love story.
Libby did a great job on the narration. I cannot wait to listen to more of her projects in the future.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves Paranormal Romances.

this is another great story in the paranormal council series.
well written with interesting characters.
Short sweet romance with a few complications to over come before they could mate.
Enjoyed Libby Kerk’s narration.

I liked this quick audiobook. The hero is great and I wish I could be treated like he does his mate. Little rough with him always putting her first and she’s trying to brush it off so she can maintain her life. Her job is sexist and her mom is shifter prejudiced. So they do face some large issues but the hero comes through! I want my own Bjorn!!! The narrator was new to me and I liked her voice. I enjoyed the entire audiobook.

A romantic tale between a fox shifter and a bear shifter who might seem an unlikely pair if thought of in their animal form, however; in their human forms they had an instant attraction although both fought it. This was a quick, enjoyable read that gave a glimpse into some of the dynamics of shifter life which were not surprisingly, very similar to situations in the readers lives. This makes the story very relatable. I rate this book a 4.5.

Ari’s mom was pushing her to settle down and have a nice litter of foxes, especially once she heard that Ari would lose her position on the Shifter Council if she mated. But it was important to her to have the power to change things for the better. That was why she had become a lawyer and why the Council position mattered so much. Currently she was having an affair with a bear shifter, Bjorn, and Ari wanted to keep this secret. He was also on the Council and wanted her to be his mate. He was willing to do anything or give up anything for her happiness. But she refused to give up the Council. It was getting more difficult for them to keep control of themselves when around each other. Every time they were together, they risked getting caught. Furthermore, Ari knew her traditional family – specifically her mother — would never accept a bear shifter.
Bjorn decided to do what he could for Ari, so he contacted a friend about possibly changing the Council rules so that shifters could be mated. That goal matched Aella Dentro’s goal to bring the Council into the modern age, so she was meeting with Bjorn about it. Aella thought it could be changed in a matter of weeks. Sure enough, Bjorn strode into the Council meeting late and confidently told them he had been before the High Council and had a decree: “The High Council has decreed that as of today, Council members can retain their seats once mated.” Bjorn had gotten what he wanted for Ari! But she had been in a terrible mood and assumed his joy meant he was happier without her! Then he resigned since the High Council had said one of a mated pair could be on the Council. Ari suddenly realized while she had been refusing to see him, he had been fighting for their future! Would Ari fight just as hard to have her mother accept Bjorn into their family? Or was his sacrifice all for nothing?
This was a cute story. Bjorn was such a sweetheart, willing to give up anything for the woman he loved. Ari, on the other hand, was so stuck on her own idea of doing something worthwhile that she totally ignored what her stubbornness was doing to Bjorn. I was not pleased with her focus on “doing something good” to the exclusion of being aware of how she was affecting those around her. He should have been her first priority, and she hadn’t even told him her mother would be a problem for them. So there is more coming and you should definitely grab your copy to find out how this works out!
All she wants to do is make a difference so she has no need for a mate but one arrives. If she mates she is off the council. He will do anything to make her happy. What will he do? See what

The Vixen’s Bark by Laura Greenwood is a wonderful story to read. This is book number two in this wonderful series I fell in love with. I love reading about shifters and this story is wonderful to read. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading aout shifters.

The amazing Laura Greenwood always writes such phenomenal stories that just sucks you in, captivating you from the first word to the last. The first book in this series, The Dryad’s Pawprint, was great. The Vixen’s Bark is fantastic. Arabella, a shifter, is trying to make a difference in the world. To do that, she needs to be on the Shifter Council, she just needs a bit of help getting there. Bjorn is a member of the Council and is willing give up his seat to her in order to help her. As Arabella and Bjorn begin spending more time together their connection to one another grows stronger. Problems? Yes! Their growing feelings for each other threatens their positions with the council and Arabella’s plans because the Council doesn’t accept mated pairs. Will they be able to make the changes necessary and still continue to explore the feeling mounting between them, or will they have to sacrifice up one for the other. Guess you’re gonna have to read in order to find out.
Bear shifter Bjorn and fox shifter Arabella have been carrying on for months in secret as council members are frowned upon having relations with each other as well as forbidden from being mated. But nothing’s gonna stop these two who realize that they are mates, as Bjorn fights to change the council laws and Ari must tell her family especially her mom about her mate being a different species. A wonderful story, quick and easily read!

The Vixen’s Bark is about Ari, a fox and Bjorn, a bear and some of the paranormal “politics”. It is not necessary to read the others to enjoy this story.

Book Two in the The Paranormal Council series a well-written short book I enjoyed reading. Arabella and Bjorn’s story held my attention until the last page. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and I also bought it.
Arabella, a fox shifter wants to make a difference and Bjorn, a bear shifter, is willing to do anything to make sure Arabella is happy. I loved their story and watching how their love grew the more time they spent together. Great story and characters.
Arabella, a fox shifter, is the driving force on the shifter council and secretly very much in love with another member of the council, Björn, a bear shifter. The problem is that members of the council cannot be mated, and Ari is not ready to give up her seat. Björn is trying his best to change the situation, to get Ari officially recognized as his mate.
A nice, easy and straight forward story, without too much drama. A quick read for a holiday or a few hours of relaxation

This is the second novella of the series. Each book is less than 100 pages. The things that Arabella and Bjorn had to overcome aided to strengthen them, once they both chose to accept each other. One problem, they both have a seat on the Council, and an antiquated rule didn’t allow mated females to hold a seat. There were times I felt bad for Bjorn, though. I think if you are looking for a quick read, this will meet your needs. There were several places with incorrect words (typing left a letter off but it wasn’t flagged because the error formed a word). The author’s writing was enjoyable. Though there were adult scenes, there was no adult language, which was refreshing.
I received a free copy from Booksprouts for an honest review. 2.5 – 3 stars because it was okay, and I’d read the next book, but I wouldn’t read this book again.
This is the second book in the Paranormal Council series and focuses on Arabella and Bjorn, and is just as enjoyable as the first. What could be better than forbidden love and a man who works to make his mate happy no matter what. If you are looking for a easy one sitting read then this is the book for you
