This story has a little of everything, sweet romance, sexy overbearing and frustrating alpha males and a beautiful woman who has the right heart and spirit. Thoroughly enjoying and entertaining.

This book was so so good!! Melody is at her family reunion and having a terrible time, being verbally attacked by them all, she finally snaps and leaves. She gets caught in a snowstorm and stranded. Eli rescues her and takes her back to his cabin, which he happens to share with his brother Keagan. Eli is totally taken with Melody and soon so is Keagan. They both want Melody, and three spend the weekend together. Melody worries that once the storm is over, will they still want her? This story was well written, the storyline was engaging and entertaining, and the characters were likable, and had amazing chemistry.

For anyone who has ever struggled with body image, this story will strike a chord within you. This is a great story about a young woman who finally finds the courage to stand up to the bullies in her family. In her continued journey of self discovery, she finds herself stranded with two brothers who are eager to show her how beautiful she really is. Can she overcome the self doubt when the storm passes and she has to leave her safe haven? Will the three of them be able to make a relationship work? Great story with well rounded characters, sexy scenes, danger, and laughter.
Downloaded for free from BookSprout. I have volunteered to give my honest opinion and receive no compensation for my review. Since I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about purchases, I will never lie or over-exaggerate my opinion. There is nothing worse than seeing a bunch of 5 star reviews and realizing the book is full of errors or just plain bad and not worth my hard earned money!
This was an awesome read that I thoroughly had a great time reading this one. The chemistry is undeniable from the beginning to the end. The characters are well well written and the storyline flows smoothly.

Melody is together with her family for their reunion. Instead of being happy to see her, she is cruelly attacked with insults and poor treatment. She finally realizes she doesn’t have to put up with this anymore. She doesn’t deserve their mean spirit. So she leaves and gets caught in a bad snow storm as she is driving. Eli, a big guy who looks like a lumberjack, rescues her and takes her back to his cabin for her safety. But it doesn’t take longer until they are embracing. As things start to heat up between them, Eli’s brother, Keagan, arrives home and opens the door without knocking. It’s a bit embarrassing for Melody, but when both want to share her, she agrees. Even as the guys start to realize they have deep feelings for her already, Melody worries that they will forget all about her once the storm ends and she leaves. Is that what will happen? Will this all be a short dream of happiness and then forgotten? Or have they found something worth keeping after all?
This was a good story, although very difficult for me to understand why her family treated her like that. I guess it makes me grateful for the loving people in my own life. I am glad she stood up to her toxic family and had the strength it took to walk out. I am glad too that she found two people who could value her for the wonderful person they saw. Grab your copy of the book and see if it all ends with the storm or whether they will pursue something much more permanent.
The author has given us characters that we can connect with. Mistakes made in the past can help you in the future, as long as you learned something from them.

This book is as I like such kind of books. Hot – Insta – Love. Of course, everything is a bit too fast, too happy, too straightforward, but that’s exactly what I expect from such a book. A nice, well-thought-out story with hot protagonists and this book had enough potential for me to read in one go.
Sometimes the repetition of sentences and words annoyed me a bit but it’s a fun and quick read.
The main character in this story is Melody age twenty nine, who has worked hard at life to pay off her student debts, get a car and have her own place to live in, as well as progress in her work successfully. Her main problem is with her self-confidence and how she is treated by her family and also extended family. She should get on really well with her sister Mandy, who she is close in age to, but Mandy and her mother both treat her as being a fat and ugly person, who should be stick thin like them and that she will never get married or have children as she is. They put her down continually and Melody allows her mother to put her down constantly and not even eat what she wants when she is around them! She has met up with the whole family, all her aunts, uncles, cousins and more, for the annual family picnic in Colorado, but is faced with the same old types of comments. She runs off to the bathroom, only to hear her own sister and friends make some nasty comments about her. She decides finally that enough is enough and comes out of the stall and has her own set of truths to speak to them! Even when her mother runs across and tries to tell her to apologise for what she said, she refuses and starts her drive home.
She has to stop shortly after, knowing it is too dangerous to continue whilst crying heavily, and loses track of time. This leaves her continuing on the mountainous part of her drive home to Morris, as darkness falls, but also a winter storm. She has no idea how bad it is going to get, as radio reception is sporadic in the mountains, but it at least allows her to ignore her mobile phone, which has been beeping at her steadily. She has no wish to listen to her sister or her mother, nor apologise for finally standing up for herself! The snowstorm gets a lot worse and even going really slowly, it is hard to see out the windscreen. She decides to stop at the next small town on the way, but ends up sliding almost into the mountain side and finds a large boulder blocking the road. Luckily she has an emergency bag of supplies in her trunk and gets a large blanket out and decides to have a short nap to wait out the storm. She is woken up by a stranger knocking on her window and then poking his head in the door. He looks like a lumberjack and she is a bit disoriented, having just woken.
He leads her back to his small cabin, just off the road and nestled into the mountains. There she finally gets to warm, as he takes off her shoes and soaking wet socks and helps to warm her up. He is Eli and he thinks she is beautiful and unlike other women he has met. She is so natural, but definitely not high maintenance. He knows she is running from some sort of problem and each time she tries to put herself down, he reaffirms how beautiful she is to him! They start to get a bit amorous, until they are interrupted by another man entering the cabin. That is his older brother Keagan and the two brothers have a close relationship and a bit of a big secret. Melody is treated to a safe place to escape the storm, keep warm, get fed and also to be adored by two hunky looking men, who love everything about her! Reality unfortunately has to raise its head, as the storm recedes and work has to be gotten back to. A wonderful weekend of escapism, but reality makes a comeback, even if her heart isn’t quite ready for it. A nice short romantic bit of escapism during a storm, but which allows for a new leaf of life for Melody and a future with a HEA ending. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
A sexy fast read with depth! I’ve been a fan of Sophie Stern for years so it’s no surprise to me that this sexy lumberjack story is so good! I was gifted an ARC copy and I’m voluntarily leaving a review because I enjoyed this fast-moving and sexy manage novella. The set-up of the story will get you angry, it did me, but when our Melody meets her saviors, it’s all gravy from there. There are sexy scenes that have detailed descriptions and emotional revelations that move the story along. My only complaint was that the ending felt rushed and a bit inconclusive, it could have used maybe another chapter to wrap it up neater. Overall, it’s a pleasant read that doesn’t shy away from sexy details!
Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some “oh no” “oh wow” ” what the what” moments and add in uncanny mishaps, ups, downs, drama, intrigue, and suspense the good kind that makes you turn the page until there are no more to turn. I love the fact that Melody is a curvy girl and like most curvy girls in a family of skinny mini’s they feel it is their given right to verbally abuse her beating up whatever little self esteem she may have. She attends a family reunion when they her family starts in on her she leaves; however, she didn’t know what mountain weather was like and got caught in a blizzard. With no cell reception and if she leaves her car, she will die so she stays in the car and that is the plan until someone taps her window. Eli one of three sexy men is on his way home to his cabin in the mountains when he passes a car on a mountain road rarely used after inspecting he sees someone buddle in the back seat and he knows they can’t stay their car overnight because they will die. So, when a beautiful, curvy, young women sits up to see who is tapping on her window he knows he has to take her home with him. She hasn’t much choice and once they reach the cabin well lets say the attraction and chemistry is enough to keep them both warm but it is does get hotter when his brothers walk in will she be enough for them and will they accept her and all her curves.
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story is about Melody, Eli and Keagan. She is the dutiful daughter and sister but bullied by her entire family. After finally having her say and leaving the reunion, she gets trapped in a storm. Eli saves her and takes her back to their cabin. There is an instant attraction between them but her self esteem had been shredded all her life. Keagan arrives just as they act on it. These men set out to teach Melody that she is not only beautiful on the inside and outside, but that she is a strong woman. There are some really steamy scenes between them. When the storm is over, they all hate to go back to reality. They all realize that their lives are now dramatically changed and they have a chance of real happiness together.

Melody is at a family reunion, but would want to be anywhere but around her family. Fed up with the way she is treated, leaves but her get away is block and she is left stranded. When Eli finds her and offer to help she is more than grate full. Back at Eli’s brother’s cabin the temperature rises especially when Keagan comes home. This story heats up and is read to combust when Eli and Keagan treat Melody they way she needs. Oh but wait there is a twist that you don’t see coming.
This hot and sext story is amazingly written and will keep surprising you to the end.

Melody has a really bad family who alienates her terribly. She leaves the family reunion, breaking all ties to them and heads home through the mountains to Morris. On the way, a snow storm hits and she comes upon a boulder in the road… she is stuck. Eli finds her wrapped in a blanket, in the back seat of her car, and takes her to his cabin a short distance away. They get comfortable and start to kiss when the door opens and another big man enters… Keagan, his brother. From there, the romance skyrockets and emotions are strong. The characters are sincere, trusting and determined in their goals, even though her goals are relatively new ones. Intense feelings and great backstories, along with trust and no regrets, are the basis for their relationship. The ending is terrific and she even gets to yell at her mother again. Way to go, girl!!

Melody is going to a family reunion which she does not want to go. She gets stuck in snow storm and is recused by Eli. It is insta love with Eli and Melody, and then we meet Keagan and all bets are off. They all cannot keep their hands off each other. This was a great book and wonderful characters. I would be happy to read more on this vein and I really like Sophie Stern and the way she writes.

Melody didn’t think her day couldn’t be worst. To be insulted by her family, and then to be stuck in her vehicle during a very bad snowstorm. But fortunately there is truth that every cloud has a silver lining … and she met two great guys. Hmm…maybe two silver lining???

This book brings you in and will not let you go. I immediately sympathized with the Melody and hope everything turn out in the end. I laughed and was on the edge of my seat hoping that there was going to be a happy ending. I loved the twist with who the men actually were. I would love to see more set in this world even if it is just to see what ends up happening with these characters.
