Appearing in The Lily and Dahlia Trilogies of Vivian Winslow’s incredibly steamy Gilded Flower Series, Violet Rai, or Vi, is Lily and Dahlia Baron’s sharp-witted BFF, who is always up for a party and a hot guy. But, in The Dahlia Trilogy, there are hints that Vi’s world is quickly coming apart.
Wild Violet (Book 1): In this flashback story, Vi, the strikingly beautiful daughter of an Indian … of an Indian business magnate and English supermodel, is enjoying a privileged lifestyle in New York City while a college student at NYU. Yet, in her senior year, Vi learns that her strict and traditional father intends to force upon her an arranged marriage and a career working for his conglomerate in Dubai. When Vi is paired with sexy Spaniard, Andrés Costas, in her ballet class, not only does she find herself falling for him, but he introduces her to a shockingly different world—one that offers her the prospect of escaping her father’s plans, but at a price.
Hidden Violet (Book 2): With her hidden past about to be exposed, Vi turns to her longtime friend and confidant, Thomas Squires, for help. Yet, they may just risk exposing their feelings for each other in the process. When Lily’s engagement to Alejandro is threatened by ex-lover Gustavo, Vi is forced to come clean with her best friend and possibly destroy the lives of those she loves. Now that her secrets are no longer hidden, Vi faces the most difficult challenge yet—how to build a new life for herself outside of the shadows.
True Violet (Book 3): Things are heating up for Vi in Dubai, and it’s not just the desert climate. Vi is starting to come into her own—having the hottest sex of her life and poised to take over her father’s multinational conglomerate. Yet, her suspicions are confirmed when she uncovers a plot to destroy not just her but her best friends’ lives. With an unlikely ally, Vi seeks to ruin those behind the plot. Will Vi be able to have it all and find her lasting happiness in the arms of the man she loves?

We Stole Your Book Boyfriend – “These just keep getting better and better !! WOW I knew Violet’s story would be good but this is going to blow us out of the water !!”
A Reader Lives a Thousand Lives – “What I like about this series is how real it feels. Relationships don’t always go to plan, and the women don’t always limit themselves to being in a relationship, which feels much more realistic than most romances.”
Tome Tender Book Blog – “Get ready to blame those rosy cheeks and beads of sweat on a fever, or sunburn, because, face it, you’ll be the only one to know it was Vivian Winslow’s Hidden Violet that did it!”
Smut and Bonbons – “With this author’s stories I’ve been surprised and sometimes shocked with twists and turns. There is enough plausibility to make the story romantic and erotic but enough fantastical to give it edge and make it a bit uncomfortable at times. The moral ambiguity and edge can be a tricky thing but it’s what also makes it unforgettable.”
Two Brain Book Review – “I have talked about Vivian’s book quite regularly on our blog. And for good reason. I truly have loved each book. Vivian’s stories are not the same story we all have read before. Never one dimensional. Each book has evolving plots that surprises me each time. I always gravitate to each new series.”
Serenity’s Lovely Reads – “I have no idea how Vivian does it, but she manages to keep writing up some awesomeness.”

Vivian Winslow brings us a lovely wrap up to the first part of the Gilded Flower stories with “Wild Violet,” “Hidden Violet,” and “True Violet.” Violet has always been secretive and guarded with her best friends Lily and Dahlia Baron. Her life has always been her own and on her own terms. With a never there rich father and an ex supermodel mother, her life has never been normal. After reading bits of Violet’s life over the past few books, I was delighted to finally read her story. I accidently read the last five books of this series before reading the first nine and was always curious about Vi’s story and what made her the person she is. She is a fascinating character with complex emotions and issues in her life. The crazy path that Vivian Winslow takes her own is such a page turner! I devoured the trilogy in no time at all. Between the steamy affairs and seeing Violet become such a force to be reckoned with, this story flies by! I feel such a weird sense of pride for her character and how far she comes in this trilogy. It is a wonderful story of growth and learning what is important in life. I may just have to go back and read the rest of the Gilded Flower series again just to keep myself hooked to these amazing characters! So, I obviously give the Violet Trilogy five stars!!
The Violet Trilogy (The Gilded Flower Trilogies Books 7-9)
By Vivian Winslow
5 Stars
The Violet Trilogy (The Gilded Flower Trilogies Books 7-9) by Vivian Winslow is part of a boxed set that includes the Lily Trilogy and Dahlia Trilogy. The Violet Trilogy consists of the following books: Wild Violet (Book 7),Hidden Violet (Book 8), and True Violet (Book 9). This series is about Violet “Vi” Rai, which was introduced in The Lily Trilogy and is also in The Dahlia Trilogy. I recommend reading Lily and Dahlia’s story first so you can get acquainted with Violet’s back story. These series takes you through the journey of Violet’s life and how her life takes a spin after her lucrative business is in danger and must leave the U.S. quickly. Violet is a very exotic, beautiful and mysterious woman. She lives a life that some do not agree with, but she does well and has total control of her life. Violet doesn’t have issues meeting men, her issue is with commitment. She loves to be single and live her life vicariously without attachment. Although she doesn’t live commitment, she does at times feel alone and searches for attention, even if it is not the right form. Violet’s is an affluent businessman and millionaire that wants his daughter to work for him and someday takeover the company, but that all comes with a price. Will Violet come to turns and stop running from her past life and work for her father’s company? The gilded Flower Trilogies has been one f my favorite reads this year. Violet story was very intriguing since she was the most mysterious of the three friends. I was looking forward to her story and Vivian Winslow did not disappoint with the storyline. I will be going to back to read more books written by this author and I highly recommend this series.
The Violet Trilogy (The Gilded Flower Trilogies Books 7-9) by Vivian Winslow. As with all the previous books this one reeled me in and wouldn’t let me go. While I can say they could be read as standalone I encourage you too read the others as they are just a great. Once again the author takes readers on quite the journey with Violet “Vi”. There’s so many layers to the story suspense, drama, romance and steamy parts. The author is amazing at making the story come alive right before your eyes, you sometimes forget it’s a book your reading. I loved everything about these stories. It’s well thought out and written smoothly. It’s got everything you want in a romance story with characters you can’t help but connect with. Excited to read more by this author. I’m giving this book a five star review and highly recommend it to everyone.
The Violet Trilogy- Vivian Winslow
5-stars
The Violet Trilogy by Vivian Winslow is another must read romance by this author. This Trilogy consists of Wild Violet, Hidden Violet and True Violet, books 7-9 in the Gilded Flower series. While this trilogy can be read as a standalone I would strongly suggest reading the full series in order to get the whole picture, along with character introductions. Just like all of this author’s work this trilogy is sweet, romantic, steamy, dramatic, heart-wrenching, suspenseful and tear-jerking. Everything you would want a romance book to be.
I have loved being able to read this whole series, I have felt so invested from the beginning as each new book managed to completely captivate me. Vivian has created such dynamic and realistic characters that I feel like I actually know them. This series is one of my all-time favorites and one that I will forever recommend to anyone looking for their next romance read!
Holy mackerel! Vivian Winslow continues to knock me over with her books. This trilogy follows Vi and gives us a glimpse into the life of Dahlia and Lily’s best friend. It is extremely well written. This can be read as a stand-alone but is best appreciated if read in order. I appreciated the depth afforded Vi’s character with the journey these pages take. I look forward to reading more from this author. Loved it.
The Violet Trilogy is a complete set of 3 incredible books from author Vivian Winslow. This is my second read from this author and it was a great experience to read all three books in one set after each other, and not have to deal with waiting for release dates after getting completely captivated with each reading. These are reads that can be read as standalone but for the extra experience and exciting ride of these reads I’d say you are better reading them as a full series.
This complete trilogy includes Wild Violet (Book 1) Hidden Violet (Book 2) & True Violet(Book 3). This author has an amazing incredible writing style where she has created some amazing characters and plot lines. These books flow seamlessly throughout and also when it ends the next book begins we carry on from where we left off. These books are captivating, compelling, and I was unable to put these reads down.
These stories are sexy, exciting, intriguing. They are filled with passion, steamy, love, loss, pain, lies and twists and turns. Each of these reads are unique and are equally compelling and stands out among others that is until you get swept up into the story of the next read. You were taken on an rollercoaster throughout these reads as you follow Violet’s journey. She is relatable, real and lovable even from the get go of meeting her in Book 1 with Lily. When she knows what she wants she goes after it and is not afraid to say what she really thinks.
We cannot forget to mention the secondary characters that come into this read. They just help make this read even better, and they help bring out our main character and compliment them as a whole.
These are another brilliant three books addition to this series that are totally captivating and compelling that shouldn’t be missed! I’m looking forward to reading what else is to come.
This is a three book trilogy about Violet. We got to read about Lily and Dahlia now we finally get to see Violet’s story. I highly suggest reading the previous two trilogies as I loved this one just as much as those two. I love that we get to see Violet coming into her own by the end of this trilogy, loved watching her grow. She is a relatable and lovable character. She brings steamy romance plus action and some twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I highly recommend this book.
The Violet Trilogy (The Gilded Flower Trilogies Books 7-9)
By: Vivian Winslow
5 out of 5 stars
The box set The Violet Trilogy (The Gilded Flower Trilogies Books 7-9) by Vivian Winslow has three books in one:
Wild Violet – Book 1
Hidden Violet – Book 2
True Violet – Book 3
These books are about Violet “Vi” Rai. She is the best friend to both Lily and Dahlia Baron. She made her appearance in the previous books in The Gilded Flower Series and I loved that I get to know more about her. Violet is a woman who is beautiful, smart, and independent. She wants control over her life and how she lives it. That includes the men that she meets. Violet doesn’t do committed relationships. She makes sure that her hookups do not include emotional connections. She is a woman who goes after what she wants and is not afraid to say what she means. She has a passion and drive that is very strong. I also found Violet to be someone who is alone, more likely to push a man away when they get too close. This story chronicles her life as she tries to escape her father’s plans for her, live life on her terms, and also face those who are conspiring not only against her but her best friends as well. Violet is a very loyal person to those she cares for. Will Violet be able to stop those who are conspiring to destroy her and her best friends? Will she finally find the one that breaks through the wall she has built around herself and find true love? Read these books to find out. These stories are amazing. They draw you in from the very beginning and I found myself lost in their pages. I was turning pages to find out what happens next. Violet’s story is one that does have scenes that will warm your heart. It also has plenty of steamy scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. These are well-written stories that I highly recommend reading. You can read them on their own or after reading Lily’s and Dahlia’s stories. I read them in order and am glad that I did. They are stories that I will not soon forget.
