A sexy standalone romance from writing duo Rebecca Norinne and Jamaila Brinkley kicks off the “witty and heartwarming” River Hill Series. She’s got plans and power tools ready, but an inconvenient attraction to her handsome new neighbor is not on the agenda.
Noah Bradstone’s master plan is right on schedule until construction on the B&B next door threatens his prize-winning pinot noir grapes. When he confronts his gorgeous new neighbor about a driveway project gone awry, she’s the single most infuriating woman he’s ever met. What’s even more infuriating is that he wants her anyway.
Despite their constant bickering, it turns out that Angelica and Noah have more in common than they thought—including an attraction that burns red hot. I’ve had this book for awhile. Don’t know why I put off reading it. Definitely worth my time! Noah and Angelica were perfect together. Too bad they wasted their time trying to figure it out! Recommend reading to see what they finally did!

This was a fun romance with enemies to lovers vibes, insta lust, and the sweetness of discovery. Noah and Angelica were both passionate and hard working characters. Their backgrounds were different as far as family and career, but the love of River Hill was their common ground. There were steamy moments. Some funny moments, as well. The conflict was interesting and I loved the fact that both Noah and Angelica held themselves accountable. I enjoyed the road to this HEA.
I adored this book. The authors did a wonderful job of combining a lot of the things I look for in a great story – it’s Funny, Romantic, Fast Paced and has Terrific Characters. Top that off with it’s the start of a series and this reader is in heaven.
You know how they say opposites attract, well sometimes they do and sometime they just annoy each other. Which is exactly what Angelica and Noah do. She can’t see past his moodiness and he thinks she’s a pesky neighbor that has no clue what she’s doing in wine country or as he puts it, His Town (especially when her remodeling crew threatens all he hold dear). But when these two get near each other things never seem to go as planned and being attracted to each other is out of the question. Isn’t it?
The authors have written a great story line that will have you laughing at the antics between Noah and Angelica one minute (not to mention the actions of their “butinsky” friends) and then wishing like heck you were them the next minute. 2 Thumbs up for a great read and I am anxiously awaiting book 2 in the River Hill Series, The Distiller’s Darling.
The socialite wine maker and the retired actress turned Bed and Breakfast owner have some hot chemistry. These two neighbors get off on the wrong foot, but with one look in the beginning you know that there is going to be something special. This book made me laugh out loud at some of the antics that happen to get these two to decide that they are truly meant to find their happily ever after with each other. I really enjoyed this book and cant wait to read more of the series.
River Hill is a small town full of big personalities. It’s the place where second chances are just around the corner and a heart’s desire can hide in plain sight. Norinne and Brinkley created a setting that is reminiscent of a not so distant past, but with a hint of present day charm. Angelica is a woman with a zest for life. The world is her smorgasbord and she’s determined to taste it all. Noah is just the man to bring this vixen down to size. He’s a planner by nature and a winemaker by trade. No upstart is going to change him or his town. As they say, life has a way of shaking up the world. The Vintner’s Vixen is a flavorful beginning to what looks to be a beautiful friendship between this reader and a nostagically heartwarming series.
