#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts exposes a proud family’s deadly secrets in this passionate tale of two Napa Valley rivals…PR executive Sophia Giambelli loves her job and has never worried about competition. For three generations, her family’s wines have been world-renowned for their quality. But things are about to change at Villa Giambelli. Tereza, the matriarch, has … the matriarch, has announced a merger with the MacMillan family’s winery—and Sophia will be assuming a new role.
As a savvy businesswoman, Sophia knows she must be prepared for anything…but she isn’t prepared for Tyler MacMillan. They’ve been ordered to work together very closely, to facilitate the merger. Sophia must teach Ty the finer points of marketing—and Ty, in turn, shows her how to get down and dirty, to use the sun, rain, and earth to coax the sweetest grapes from the vineyard.
As they toil together, both in and out of the fields, Sophia is torn between a powerful attraction and a professional rivalry. At the end of the season, the course of the company’s future—and the legacy of the villa—may take an entirely new direction. And when acts of sabotage threaten both the family business and the family itself, Sophia’s quest will be not only for dominance, but also for survival.

Great book. Great story. Very informative about the life and trials of wine making. Nice twist with family and company rivalries.
She is always a good read. Light and fun and good to read after something very serious.
Loved this book. Hard to put down. Great characters. Romantic suspense. Kept me guessing till the end.
As always with Nora Roberts a fantastic read!
Good book – predictable at times, but I love a happy ending!
It’s Nora Roberts, Enough Said!
I always like reading Nora Roberts’ books, and The Villa is one of her best. I am a wine lover; this book exemplifies the family traditions in owning a vineyard/winery and how hard the entire family must work to maintain the reputation and integrity of the business and the family. Really liked all the characters and the story line. Hope to see a sequel; I would love to read a continuing saga of this family.
Exactly what I expected from Nora Roberts. This was a wonderful story with lots of twists and turns and a wonderful romantic involvement with two strong characters. I loved this book and have recommended it to all my friends.
Another wonderful book from Nora Roberts!
Awesome
Good read , very interesting about the wine making process , predictable romance but entertaning
Don’t believe I have ever read a bad Nora Roberts book, and I have read a lot of them. The stories always draw you in and I am always sorry when they end.
Nora Roberts has yet to disappoint
I read the book based on an author’s name I recognized. I kept hoping something would happen other than characters shacking up with each other. Lots of detail on clothing etc. but not much action.
A light read, romantic with a bit of mystery and lots of family tradition
I will buy any book by Nora Roberts
Fun
Nora Roberts writes like real people talk and think. Fun book to read.
Really good relationships to plot ratio. Very good character-building – yu felt yu knew them well by book’s end. Enjoyed a lot.
This remains one of my all time favorite books.
