After she saves the life of Prince Anders, the Viking warrior who took her as his captive and tamed both her body and her heart, nineteen-year-old Princess Aurelie of Donrose knows that she can never return home again. She will belong to Anders forever, as his bride and his possession, destined to be used and enjoyed as thoroughly, shamefully, and often as he pleases.Though Anders has proven many … proven many times that he is more than willing to punish her bare bottom harshly for any disobedience, with war fast approaching between her brother and her husband, Aurelie puts her own life in danger in the hopes of making peace. But when her reckless gamble goes wrong, can Anders rescue his headstrong young wife before any harm comes to her?
Publisher’s Note: The Viking’s Possession is a stand-alone sequel to The Viking’s Conquest. It includes spankings, sexual scenes and sexual humiliation, and more. If such material offends you, please don’t buy this book.

This is the long awaited sequel to Felicity Brandon’s other Viking story, and it was totally worth the wait. It was great to catch up with Anders and Aurelie and to see what they are up to.
We pick up with them shortly after the previous book ends. They are on the way north, to Anders’ home. It’s been a long journey and he’s ready to be home and Aurelie is nervous about getting there, but also excited. When they get to his home and meet his father, the King, Anders introduces her to him and tells his father that he wants to marry her and gets his approval.
But it’s not all tea and cakes, there is still the threat of Magnus the Strong, who hates her and would gladly be rid of her. Plus, there are her brothers, and no one really knows what they are going to do. However, for now, Aurelie is going to be happy with her Lofdungr and his love.
It’s nice to see that Aurelie is still the strong woman that she was in the first book. She’s still rather impulsive, which gets her into all kinds of trouble. But she also has compassion and wisdom which really comes into play here. Anders made me mad sometimes, and I’m probably not the only one. I think he made Aurelie mad too sometimes. However, I liked him more than he made me mad, so all in all, it worked out rather well. I think we have the setup for another sequel. I kind of hope so and I hope that Felicity doesn’t keep us waiting for forever for it.
I loved Viking’s Conquest and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. I’m happy to say I wasn’t disappointed. It was fabulous! I didn’t know what to expect after the ending in the previous book. I wasn’t sure where the story could go, if it could continue to hold the level of unexpectedness I experienced in that one, and I wondered if their relationship would change. This one laid all of those questions to rest. The story took many turns I wasn’t expecting, both in the plot itself and the relationship between Anders and Aurelie. It also continued to give me that feeling of suspense and uncertainty that Aurelie felt through most of it. I was also please to see that Anders didn’t become all soft and sweet after their return to his home. This one kept me on the edge of my seat and the heat level was truly felt. I bar for what I will expect from historical erotica novels has been raised.
I enjoyed this book. It is the follows Anders and Aurelie back to his home. It seems war has followed them home and there is still danger lurking for Aurelie. It is full of deliciously hot dominate steamy scenes.
I enjoyed this book by Felicity Brandon,,,,
This book picks up where Viking’s Conquest ended, where we see the love of Aurelia and the Viking Anders continues,,, they are on their way to see the King to get permission to marry Aurelia,,,, This was a good read and it has a little bit of everything in it, including a little spankings here and there,,,,,, has some laughter, some crying, a little BDSM,,,,,just a little something for everybody,,, I would recommend this story to anybody,,,,
I read this story voluntarily to leave an honest review
I love the characters attitudes in this book. Anders always has to be dominant and in control, while Aurelie must listen but she learns to love it. The book is very descriptive and puts you right in the middle of the story. It’s a great read and I would definitely recommend. Felicity Brandon did a great job.
I’ve just finished reading the first book in this serie and it was easy to continue Anders and Aurelie’s story.
I still liked Aurelie who remained a strong young woman with a spirit.
Anders changed a bit in this book (in my eyes) and became a little more likeable compared to the first book.
Sometimes it’s hard to put your feelings aside, when reviewing a book, and really look. I’m still mad at Anders, but I like him.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
A well written follow up to The Viking’s Conquest
This is a blend of historical and erotic romance, it doesn’t contain the humiliation that book 1 did but still retains the limit pushing BDSM that was contained in book #1. I wouldn’t really say that you could read this as a stand alone, mainly because Anders and Amelie are already in love when this book starts. Having read book #1 I was eager to see how they found their ‘stride’ as a couple and whether Amelie would be accepted and able to adapt to her new life.
This picks up where The Viking’s Conquest finished, with Amelie and Anders travelling back to his kingdom in the North. Will his father allow them to marry, and even if he does will she ever be accepted as their Queen? To make matters worse both Magnus and Amelia’s family are determined to prevent them living in peace together.
This is one very steamy and erotic read, but nicely balanced by a decent story line. There were some interesting side plots, one of which was left as a loose end. I am presuming this will be picked up in subsequent books and am definitely looking forward to the impact this will have on both Aurelie and Anders.
My only criticism is based on personal preference, rather than an issue with the writing or characters. For me the setting felt a little limited, with most of the book set in the same few rooms of the castle with the same few characters. The vast majority of the scenes involve just the H and h, sometimes also the King. I would have liked more interactions between Inger and Aurelie and perhaps for Aurelie to have been shown some of the kingdom she might one day be Queen of. However as I’ve said this is just *me* and so I haven’t lowered my rating because of it.
I totally fell in love with the King and it was good to get more background information on Anders. The book is written first person from just Aurelie’s POV so this detail helped me connect and understand Anders more. He still came across as an arrogant ‘we’re not discussing it because I know best’ ass at times BUT there are reasons for this and when you get to them his previous behaviour becomes OK. Sometimes in a second books it’s hard to feel the romance however I didn’t find that to be the case here. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Amelie and Anders evolved and came full circle but yet left them at a very different point and with a very different dynamic and power balance than at the start. I’m looking forward to discovering where their story takes us (and them) next.
The conclusion of the Viking series and it starts off right where the first book ended.
The relationship between Anders and Aurelie keeps getting stronger and they keep exploring their mutual attraction and slowly there relationship changes. The book is well written, but in the end wasn’t for me.
I love historical novels because they give a glimpse of a life in another time. This book focuses on the intense relationship between Anders and Aerelie, but for me I missed reading about her adapting to her new life. Dealing with a new culture, different people and language and just some more story about everyday life.
Aerelie’s world is just contained to a few rooms in the castle
Totally enjoyable to read, this is the second book about Anders and Auerlie and what happens when they finally reach Anders homeland and the King.
Its erotic and has some dark and sexy scenes. I really like Anders he is a man who is fair but will do anything for the lady he loves. And Aurelie i love her she is a l ady who makes wrong decisions even if it is for the right reason and just has to be guided.
A book not to be missed, Felicity really is a wonderful Author
OMG! Felicity Brandon has done it again. Although there is a previous book, in which we are introduced to Anders and Aurelie, this is an extremely well-done standalone, which fills readers in with whatever you need to know from the previous story. (Although both stories are so awesome, I cannot image why you wouldn’t want to read both!)
I love the way this story takes us deeper into the relationship of Anders and Aurelie. While Anders remains an extremely strong Alpha male, we now get to see how very much he loves and cherishes his little captive Almost like opposites attracting, one is dominant, the other submissive. But, it is just so much more than that. It is the way each arouses and satisfies and revels in the needs and desires of themselves and that of their partner. Anders demonstrates his well-controlled sadistic behaviors; while Aurelie discovers and accepts a masochistic joy in his intense, yet lovingly administered and strongly applied discipline. For them, it works well, and it is breathtaking to read. Overall, these two lovers embark on an exciting, mind-boggling erotic journey that satisfies the strong cravings and carnal hunger they each elicit within the other.
Ms. Brandon has created an overwhelming physical and spiritual fusion between these two individuals that surpasses my expectation, pulling me into their exciting and erotic connection. With love, respect, desire and a great deal of kink, these two meld their minds and bodies into a union like no other. Because of this unique relationship, all things become possible for the future of Anders and Aurelie in their Viking Stronghold.
This is the second book from this author I’ve read and I’m hooked! With The Viking’s Possession the story of Anders and Aurelie continues in Anders homeland. It’s full of intrigue and erotic heat This book does not disappoint.
I can’t imagine being a taken captive by a Prince. Everything I know and love… gone. And being claimed as his. His possession, his bride, his to shame and love. But that is exactly what happens to Aurelie.
Prince Anders is the Viking warrior who captures and possesses Aurelie. He wants and makes her his own. What comes to burn between them is the hottest flames.
And both want more so they take it, and one another. Love blossoms, and deepens.
This is a captivating book of seduction of senses, of the mind, body, and soul. Felicity Brandon did an excellent job with the characters, settings, and emotions. I can’t wait to read more of her books!
