Can an omega shifter and an alpha vampire from opposing clans find happiness?SvenI knew the moment I went away to college, I was letting my family down. They think omegas exist to find an alpha and have pups, but I’m holding out for my own destiny–and my destined mate.I just never imagined he’d be the gorgeous second-in-command of the neighboring vampire coven. Or that one night of passion was … Or that one night of passion was going to change my life forever.

Claude
My second life began as violently as the first one ended, and it’s taken more than a century to find my lost humanity. Not that I expected it to take the shape of an omega wolf–and the son of my coven’s greatest adversary, no less.
I’ll do whatever it takes to protect Sven, and our hybrid child from a world that says our love shouldn’t exist.

Another amazing book by L.C. Davis. Loved and will reread it again.
Claude is a successful vampire who does not actually like being a vampire. He was turned, not born, and retained a lot of his humanity. The Coven leader is suspicious of him because he lacks ties to the community.
Sven is an omega wolf who chafes at society’s expectations of omegas. He wants to take his time and find his fated mate, but his parents pressure him to date. Ironically, he dates a wolf approved by his parents while having hook ups with Claude. And he gets pregnant.
Claude and Sven get together and I thought that was the end of the story, but hold on there! Not so fast, sonny. There is more.
The second half of the story has kidnapping, betrayal, some angst and forgiveness? Claude has to make a choice and Sven argues for the path that leads to forgiveness. That was a bit too sweet for me because the shifter-vampire life seems like it would be more brutal. Like the first book. I was hoping to see some familiar friends and a little crossover, but that did not happen.
JJ Jenness does another good job of telling the story. I found Sven could sound annoying at times, but he is young so that is expected. I liked the voice he gave Claude. It fit and really brought him to life.

I am not sure if this would be the first story I read about a vampire mated to a werewolf, but either way it was a good book. I personally think as the story progressed it got better. Also, I really enjoyed the ending. It was sweet. I liked the turn of events.

I really enjoyed this story of forbidden love between an omega wolf and an alpha vampire who discover they are fated mates (referred to as Imprinting here). The struggle to deny fate and their feelings sets a rich tapestry of angst, uncertainty, and secrets. Family and pack/coven relations set up barriers, but in the end love will not be denied…or will it. I loved Claude and Sven, and all the secondary characters, too, even Reyland. I hope we get to see him find his mate in a future book. I hope this turns into a series, as I would love to see more of these characters

This is the 2nd book in the Vampire’s Omega series. This was wonderful story of two that fell in love across the species line. With a glance they start the imprint. Sven has always felt like a outsider with his own family. Claude makes Sven feel like he is his world. Will these two be able to cross the line and show that Vampire/Wolves can be together. Highly Recommend this book
Who says you have to be enemies just because you are different? Sven, disconected from his family longs for a connection. Claude a turned Alpha vampire fights to avoid stereotypical habits and the elitist values of Vampires. They have imprinted on each other and spend time trying to fight against their natures. They are working through fate, family wishes, species values and principles. Can they have a successful relationship together? Can they find peace with their species? Can they team together, supporting each other through all the trials and tribulations they may face as a blended couple? Amazing story! I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
This is a sweet mpreg romance. This is a great inter-species storyline. The characters were fantastic and their families were relatable.

I love M/M vampire and shifter books so much. This book was a sweet forbidden love between an alpha vampire and an omega wolf shifter. The love/lust was instant between Claude and Sven but they fought it because of their families.
I did get frustrated with Sven’s mom she was just so ugh, I mean come on. Anyways, I did love that Claude and Sven working on their feelings that they had for each other I just hated that when Sven found out some news that was what kick started their growth with each other even though Claude decided to fight for them.
All in all this was an excellent love story with sexy times. I would recommend this read.
This was an ARC book I volunteered to read.
Sven went away to college and stayed away. Five years later he is on his way back home because his father has cancer and needs him home. Claude is second in command in the vampire coven and the go between with the wolves. Claude takes a proposal to the alphas house to meet with him. When I go to leave the house I notice Sven at the top of the staircase, my heart starts to pound. I have just saw my fated mate. An a vampire and a wolf be together? What will the wolves do when they find out? What will the vampires do? Can a wolf and vampire mate?

This was a great read and a wonderful way with words. The storyline was great full of action adventure and romance. The characters are fun and exciting. If you love a great m/m romance adventure with great characters and a HEA then this story is for you.
What a fun and entertaining story about imprinting and falling in love with someone your family/friends wouldn’t accept. But fate has its say and Claude and Sven are great together and I love their story. Funny at time, sweet moments and some sexytimes, this story is a satisfying read that makes you also want more of the supporting characters’stories! I hope more is on the way.
I received an advanced reader’s copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.
This is a very sweet bi-species romance. The characters are well developed, and the storyline is well thought out. The fact that the two species are sworn enemies makes things tricky when a Vampire and an Omega wolf imprint on each other simultaneously.
Sven has never felt like he belongs with his family; he doesn’t fit the mold they have in mind. So, when he turned eighteen, he moved out of state to go to college and start a new life for himself. However, when his father’s health is threatened, he comes home after being away for five years.
Claude is what I would call a reluctant vampire. You see, he was born human and turned against his will. Eventually, he was taken into Thales’ coven, and became his second-in-command. While he is loyal to the coven and seems to accept their somewhat elitist attitude, he believes he is a monster. He tries to not harm innocents, and because of his devotion to the humans of the town, he is tasked with being the liaison between the vampires and the werewolves.
On Claude’s way out of the Alpha wolf’s home, he catches sight of Sven, and although neither knows what the other has experienced, they both know that they have imprinted on the man in front of them. As time goes by, a chance encounter brings the MCs together in a stolen moment of passion. But believing they can never be together, they part ways.
After another moment of weakness, they part ways once again, but Sven fears this may be the last time. Claude, on the other hand, has very different ideas.
Due to an interfering vampire omega, Thales decides that he needs to send Claude to New York to help the coven there, and to get him away from the wolves. It is during this time that Sven’s deception with his family comes to light, and a couple interesting confessions are made.
Of course, dealing with hostile in-laws isn’t enough…our MCs must also deal with an envious vampire. And although there is a bit of action and danger, our omega MC shows compassion, and shows his mate just how well he and Claude’s coven leader are getting along.
Overall, I enjoyed the story. It was a sweet romance with a lot of, not angst, really, but longing. Of course we get our HEA and sweet little hybrid baby!
Happy reading!

Full disclosure I received a copy of the book from the author in exchange for a honest review.
The second book in the Vampire’s Omega series is a standalone novel. Though it’s in the same world, there are no cross over characters, yet.
Claude is a vampire and second in command of his coven. Years ago he fought along side the wolves in taking down a band of rouge vampires. As a result he’s now his coven liaison between the coven and the local pack. His leader wants him to settle down and start a family. But Claude is a romantic and wants to wait for his fated mate.
Sven is an Omega werewolf. He hates being pigeonholed my his genetics. He goes all the way to Florida for college and only comes back when his father has health issues. He finds that both of his older twin Alpha brothers are preparing to be mated and his mother wants the same for him.
They imprint when Claude visits the ailing Alpha with a treaty for continued peace between the vampires and wolves. They have several intense encounters, but can they make it work? Or are there too many things at risk?
I really like this book. Internal angst and external forces make for an emotional rollercoaster of a ride for the reader.
