Welcome to Nocturne Falls, the town that celebrates Halloween 365 days a year.
The tourists think it’s all a show: the vampires, the werewolves, the witches, the occasional gargoyle flying through the sky. But the supernaturals populating the town know better.
Living in Nocturne Falls means being yourself. Fangs, fur, and all.
After seeing her maybe-mobster boss murder a guy, Delaney James … maybe-mobster boss murder a guy, Delaney James assumes a new identity and pretends to be a mail order bride. She finds her groom-to-be living in a town that celebrates Halloween every day. Weird. But not as weird as what she doesn’t know. Her groom-to-be is a 400-year-old vampire.
Hugh Ellingham has only agreed to the arranged set up to make his overbearing grandmother happy. In thirty days, whatever bridezilla shows up at his door will be escorted right back out. His past means love is no longer an option. Not if the woman’s going to have a future. Except he never counted on Delaney and falling in love for real.
Too bad both of them are keeping some mighty big secrets…

Light and entertaining, it didn’t follow the usual formula. I enjoyed it.
Loved this different take on Halloween theme. Its very original.
As followers of my reviews will know I am a HUGE Kristen Painter fan and so when I got the opportunity to read her new paranormal romance series “Nocturne Falls” there was no way I could resist.
I will admit to being a little nervous as this series is quite different from her previous Urban Fantasy collections but I needn’t have worried because this book is genius!
Set in a town where every day is celebrated as Halloween this book has a much lighter, more humorous take on the world of the paranormal and their interactions around humans and I think will appeal to paranormal romance lovers everywhere.
As with all Kristen’s books the secondary characters are so well developed by the end of this story you want to know more about their lives too! I’m telling you if packing up and moving to Nocturne Falls was an option I would already be there!
Love this new series! Love this new town!
An EASY 5 stars from me and a HUGE recommendation to paranormal fans to pick this up ASAP!

I reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. The heroine sacrifices herself for the safety of someone dear to her, and the feared beast become a handsome man again….
I liked it. It was fun and fast.
What a great book
Good read!!
I really found this to be enjoyable read, where both characters had life, and background! The female character created lots of good humor (at least in my mind). Would read again and get others in the series!
I ‘ve read this and a few similar ones like it. there’s no great depth but they’re fun, quick reads and I enjoyed them.
This was a fun read, I enjoyed getting to know the characters and the story line was very well written. I would recommend this series.
Great series to follow!
Really enjoy this author’s writing!! Looking forward to reading the rest of the series
This novel had me laughing out loud. The plot was totally rediculous yet interesting and fun!
Loved this whole set loved that everyone got their love
Lots of fun with a bit of intrigue.
I absolutely loved this series. Ready for another one.
What I liked about this book was that it was so funny. I don’t remember another PNR with so much humor, and I breezed through it with a smile on my face.
If I quit being amused for a minute, I might have noticed how things were just too easy for our heroine, esp. in the beginning of the story when she is getting herself mailed to tall dark and handsome. But I didn’t think about that until after I finished the book, still smiling of course, because the story was so darned cute.
Very amusing , fast paced liked the characters and the ending
she a good read. definitely need to read more books like this one
