There should be a classification for “Paranormal Erotica “ which this book would fall neatly into.
I am not a fan of erotica primarily because you rarely see a combination of a good storyline to go along with the sexual antics. Sadly this book was a prime example of that. Three paragraphs in both main characters are already panting after each other and it just went downhill from there.
If erotica is your thing this book might appeal to you, just don’t expect much in the way of substance.
Faced paced paranormal romance with a dash of suspense. Characters are likable well either you like them or you may hate them. The plot twists will keep you guessing & the romance will make you sigh. I highly recommend this book.
Absolutely loved this book. It’s a rather quick/fun read. It had me literally laughing out loud. I’m hooked now and will be reading the rest of the series!
I loved this book it was funny and it was not too long, perfect when you are waiting in a doctors office.
A howling good read
Felicia cousin put a curse on her years ago to never be happy in love. Christoph, a vagmpire, a hunk of mas uline comes to town for his brothers wedding. a witch puts a spell on his brother causing his fiance to break off the wedding. Christoph and Felicia look for her and in the process things get complicated. A twist in there makes things better.
I loved it. I want more and more of this!,!!!
Good read
I have been provided with a copy of The Vampire’s Last Dance by the author for an impartial review. The Vampire’s Last Dance is the first book in the Witch Island Brides series and we are back to meet some new wonderful characters. What another great installment in this series I just had so much fun reading this story and it was just so entertaining. I loved getting to meet Felicia Patterson and Christoph Parks they just had me hooked. This story was just hilarious and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I loved it Felicia and Christoph are perfect for each other, bugger curses and magic it’s time to throw everything to the wind and just say ‘take me vampire’…….. lol
a funny, entertaining, paranormal short that has a lot to build on from here I am really looking forward to more.
Not bad, but not one of there best
Good read and entertaining
This was a fun read and I really enjoy Deanna Chase’s voice in her writing.
Felica is a witch that has been cursed in romance. Christoph is a vampire best man for his brother’s wedding and when he meets Felica he is very taken with her. Someone in her neighborhood is causing trouble with vampire attacks and dancing trees. Felica has to keep her business going and needs to keep the bride and groom back together. This is a short fantasy with HEA supernatural flair.
Short
Felicia, a witch cursed to have only failed relationships, meets vampire Christoph at her floral shop while preparing for his brother’s wedding. Of course they fall in love and many things happen to keep them apart. I liked both of their characters, and the the plot had a few twists that I didn’t see coming. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, but only had 98 pages.
It had potential but felt like it just had a beginning and then an end. No real development of the story.
The Vampire’s Last Dance by Deanna Chase is the first full length novel in Witch Island Brides. Felicia Patterson is a florist on Witch Island. She is working on a special request for Bianca when she encounters Christoph Parks. His smile makes her hear skip a beat (and sets her body on fire) but, thanks to her cousin’s curse, she knows that a future with him (or any man) is impossible. That night at Witchin’ Impossible Bianca catches her fiancé, Jasper enjoying the delights of another female after she was attacked by one of the strippers. Bianca calls off the wedding and Jasper threatens to sue Felicia if she does not get the wedding back on track (how is this her fault). The common denominator between the two incidents is the witch, Lemon. Christoph and Felicia team up to find Lemon and get the wedding back on track. The time together will give Felicia and Christoph a chance to get to know each other and explore their attraction. Will they succeed in their mission?
The Vampire’s Last Dance is a humorous and steamy paranormal romance. It is nicely written and has a steady pace. The Vampire’s Last Dance is a short read since it is only 152 pages. This book is different from Deanna Chase’s other works. It is a light-hearted paranormal romance with enough sparks to set your book on fire. There is a scene at the beginning that will have you chortling. I never would have thought of such unique bachelorette bouquets. I liked the world the author created on Witch Island. You will never think of bingo again without grinning. I wish there had been an epilogue to find out what happens with Felicia and Christoph. The Vampire’s Last Dance has mystery, vampires, witches, a curse, magic, humor, flirtation, unique characters and so much more. Come along for the journey in The Vampire’s Last Dance to find out what happens with Bianca, Jasper, Christoph and Felicia.
Dumb book.
