Running a dating agency can be a killer…
Shelley Linley is sick of sickos. Yet another prankster has applied to her dating agency. This one says he’s a vampire and he wants Shelley to help him find a wife.
Meeting him for a second interview against all her better judgement, Shelley discovers that he has no clue about women. A shame because he’s super-hot, amusing, and has a lot of single friends he could recommend her struggling business to, even if he does say they’re werewolves and demons. She has to help him, even if he’s crazy.
If she can ignore his delusions, she’s sure she can help him meet someone. But when death threats start arriving on her doorstep, Shelley’s not sure she’s cut out for the job…then her dating algorithm states she’s his ideal partner. Now she’s not sure if she should take the risk for love, or run like hell.

OMG….what a refreshingly entertaining story. The Vampire Want a Wife was Paranormal romantic comedy at its best. The story was unique and hilarious and I could not stop from laughing out loud at times. Yes this was a romance, but there was so much more including action, suspense and a range of supernatural characters all coming together to make this tale a fun read. I loved the concept of this story and the humor, witty conversations and unexpected plot-twists made this light-hearted page-turner a phenomenal read.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Angela Doll. She did an amazing job with varying the voices for the characters and really brought the story to life. Her voice was clear and understandable and I really enjoyed listening to her.
The Vampire wants a Wife was a fun enjoyable read and I would highly recommend it to all paranormal and romantic comedy lovers.

My first time listening to Angela Doll. I could tell who was who just by listening to the voices which is always a bonus.
This was so much more than I was expecting, in fact I’m not sure what I was expecting. I enjoyed the story and didn’t guess the twist till it happened and thought the way out of it was great. The characters are interesting and I enjoyed watching them grow. I can’t wait to see what happens next as the series carries on…
Great book
Such a cute book full of magic gone wild, devilish misadventures, and chaos! Cute shifters, a hot vampire, a confused witch, and lots of danger, drama, and weird and strange twists and turns! Never make a deal with the devil if you do lie! It can get confusing and hot, but in the end good may win.
Who knew that even supernatural beings needed help with dating? Most books written these days create supernatural characters whose looks are flawless and never have trouble finding love. Keeping it is the biggest issue. So reading this book was just fun and different. It read a lot like a cozy, which I love. The characters were smart and believable. The dialog was quick and witty believable. The storyline was believable. (See a theme?) even though this book is fantasy, the author did such a great job with the world-building that it just felt like this was something that could happen in my own city. Her take on supernatural tropes was not stereotypical and predictable. I absolutely appreciate that. I’ve pre-ordered the next one so I can keep up. I may have to put in above some of the other books on my TBR because I’d like to see where that little cliffhanger goes and I just want to find out more about this town.
I LOVED this silly book!!! I woke everyone up laughing so hard!!! Had to put it down until daylight and let me tell you…. I didn’t put it back down til it was done! The characters are so loveable and funny that you’ll wish your real friends were like them! This is truly a must read book!!!!
I loved this supernatural dating agency story!! It’s about a young woman who owns a dating service and a vampire who wants a wife to spend eternity with. I laughed so much while reading this book my husband had to chase me out of the bedroom so he could get some sleep. Needless to say he ended out reading the book because he had to know what I was giggling about at midnight. This book has everything a great paranormal story needs a witch, vampire, werewolf, demons and a town named Withernsea. I can’t wait to read the next Supernatural Dating Agency book!
This isn’t the first book I have read by this author and I have always loved her work. This book was just like her others, a fabulous read! I loved the whole supernatural dating theme of the story and as with the majority of Andie’s books, I was laughing and smiling at the humour in it. The characters were brilliant, the story well thought out and written and I can’t wait for more!
This was such a fun read! I was intending to read a different book but opened this and was instantly grabbed by this book. I read it in one day and the time that I had to put it down, I was thinking about when I could get back to reading it.
This had a True Blood feel to it but on a much lighter note. The main character is relatable and I loved her reactions to various situations.
The story was face paced and although it was about supernatural beings, the author introduced them in a way that made the story completely believable. I’m so happy I found this series and even more excited that it is only the first book in it! I can’t wait to read the rest!
Vampire wants a wife by Andie M Long a five-star read that will leave you wanting a long-term commitment from the author. Shelley Linley runs a dating agency that has the magic touch setting people up, she really should be called Cupid her algorithm really does spit out great results. That’s why a 126-year-old vampire decides he needs her services. As his time is coming and he needs a wife, but will he get more than he bargained for. This was so funny, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud and embarrass myself. This book has so much going on but it’s all held together and each page seems better than the last, there is a paranormal element in that some of the characters are vampire, some are werewolf and demon also, but it’s not the only thing about this book, so if that’s a genre you don’t read, don’t ignore this book for that reason and if you do love the genre you will love those elements in this book. This is a great example of Andie’s writing and I for one can’t wait to hear more from the dating agency in Withernsea, who will be set up next?
A cute-ish story. I had a very hard time with the flow, found it super choppy with a little more continuity it could have been much better. Got a free chuckles out of it!! Not sure if I will continue with the series.
It was a funny delightful read. I had quite a few laugh-out-loud moments. Both the story and writing were entertaining.
Definintely recommend for a few hours of fun read
Loved it from the first page. This story will have you peeing your pants laughing. It has the right touch of everything, romance, sexy, funny, suspense that keeps you turning the pages.
Favorite Quotes:
He pushed me away and held me at arm’s length with what I felt to be considerable strength from arm-porn arms that made Captain America’s look like shoelaces.
I prayed to God that the bulge in his pants wasn’t a hot dog he’d stolen from the burger bar and saved for later.
My Review:
I smirked, giggle snorted, and laughed aloud as I read this delightfully amusing and titillating tale. I totally admire and covet Andie M. Long’s clever brand of naughtiness as well as her irreverent and snarky sense of humor. The Vampire Wants A Wife was several layers beyond witty, cunningly crafted, crisply written, and deviously inventive. I would read more paranormal tales if they were half as much fun as this one. The storyline was unique, comical, and extremely entertaining. Unbeknown to the mortals, the cozy community of Withernsea was full of supernaturals of all types; vampires, were-creatures, demons, witches, etc., so many in fact, that the local Dating Agency felt the need to expand their services and opened Withernsea Dating – the Supernatural Dating Agency, for those with special needs such as sleep impairments, select tastes, additional grooming issues once a month, or list their favorite food as, “A classic O-neg, preferably drunk straight from the source.”
This was a humorous paranormal story. I really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to the next is in the series.
This was a funny and wonderful read and the first one from this author that I have read and I love her style and the characters can’t wait to read more.
Romance, laughs, and a bit of suspense and danger combine to make for one crazy good story in The Vampire Wants a Wife. Andie Long’s talent for story-telling shines in this first in the series with a fast-paced, hilarious tale. This one is a great blend of paranormal, romance, sexy fun, tension-building suspense and just the right amount of perfectly timed levity. When an oh so sexy vampire sets his sights on a human who’s sure vampires don’t exist, problems are sure to arise, and this pair finds plenty of problems. I loved Shelley’s snark and Theo’s reaction to her antics was sooo good. There are so many great characters in this one and I can’t wait to see them again as the series progresses. The only downfall was that I was having such a good time with this crazy bunch that I didn’t want it to end! Long has certainly set a high bar for what comes next in the Supernatural Dating Agency world.
