A sinfully sexy standalone romantic comedy from bestselling authors Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente! When you think about how easy it is to lose keys, phones, sunglasses and your dignity on social media, you might figure it’d be a cinch for me to ditch my V Card. You’d be wrong. At 25, I run a successful business, live in a fantastic apartment, and have fabulous friends to go out with any night of … out with any night of the week. And yet I’m still a card-carrying member of a club I don’t want to belong to anymore. Good thing I know just the man for the deflowering job–my brother’s business partner and best friend.
Graham is charming, smart, and, I’m told, oh-so-skilled in the sack. As long as I keep my eyes on the prize, there’s no way this pluck-the-flower project could possibly complicate matters.

Work and pleasure. As the CEO of a fast-growing company, I’ve been enjoying both to the fullest. What do I do when the board throws me for an unexpected loop so I can keep my business in my hands? I enlist the help of my best friend’s little sister since she holds a big stake in the company. But then I learn there’s another big stake she wants.
The one between my legs.
I can do this. Seven nights to teach her everything I know in the bedroom. There’s no way I’ll fall for her, even though she’s earning top grades in every single lesson. And turns out I’m learning something too. The trouble is I don’t have the answer key to what to do when I fall hard for her.
And that throws a whole new hitch in my plans.

I love Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente the two of them together made a great book!!
Love both authors and loved this book. I read it in a day. Couldn’t put it down.
This duo sure knows how to bring the heat along with characters that melt your heart. CJ asks her dead brother’s best friend to be her teacher in all things “bedroom”. It was a great story!
Writing was good.
The book was entirely unrealistic but if you enjoy the ‘F’ word, steamy sex scenes and Happily Ever After, this is the book for you. ,
I enjoy this author.
CJ and Graham
Amazing read that is a bit predictable but in a great way. Two passionate old friends that find each other.
4.5 stars. Loved the story. It was adorable and sexy. I actually read the baby maker by Lili a little while ago. So it was nice to have cameo convos with Dylan (playing CJs cousin). His protective and a loving nature it on full display through the convos he has to ease her doubts and sadness over the phone. Love Graham and CJ. They are adorable and fit like puzzle pieces. Super close after the death of her brother, Graham’s best friend and brushes partner they look out for one another. When she brings up a proposal their platonic relationship gets kicked up a notch when she seeks a sex Ed teacher. Love the story. And the multiple epilogues were cute.
Oh boy what a dynamic, fantastic, amazing duo, with Ms. Lauren Blakely and Ms. Lili Valente; two of my top go to authors. When I saw this book coming out, I was excited and could not wait. Let me tell you the wait was so worth it. You will not be disappointed. Both authors know how to write a great story that tugs on all your emotions. This was an endearing, adorable, sweet, humorous friends to lovers story. Not to mention, SUPER sexy. Graham and CJ have so much chemistry, I thought my kindle would start on fire. Graham is so sweet and handles CJ so gently and caring its heartwarming. He’s supposed to be her “teacher” but leans about himself and gets more than what he bargained for but in a good way. I loved the banter between the two of them, you just knew that they were super close and their friendship was not one that anyone or anything could come in between. I am so glad I got to read this story, it was SO, SO Good!
Highly recommend!
5++++++ Stars
The V Card is a sexy as sin standalone by not one but two of my favorite authors. I have read every single word these amazing women have written and I will never get enough. When I found out that they were writing a book together I might have scared my children with my excitement. The synopsis kicks ass so I will make this fast.
Seven days. That is what she is asking for. Seven days of lessons in seduction. Sexy days to teach her to drive men wild. Of course within this seven days he would also help her toss out her V card. At twenty-five she was tired of carrying it around. And she didn’t want to just give it to anyone. She wanted a man who she trusts. A man who knows his way around a woman’s body. A man with skills. Her deceased brother’s best friend and business partner, Graham Campbell. CEO of Adored, a lingerie company. A man who knows exactly how to make a woman feel adored. Sexy. Wanted. She has never felt that way but the minute she sees his desire, she knows she assigned the perfect teacher.
Graham and CJ have a special kind of friendship. It grew over time but two years ago when her brother, Sean died it turned into more. He wants to protect her. To be there for her, always. They know their quirks. They just fit. But, Graham has never seen her as more than a friend until now. He always knew she was sweet, beautiful, independent, and intelligent but now…he sees other sides of her and he wants to discover more. Explore her. In every sense of the word. But, if Sean was here, would he give him his blessing? He never thought anyone was good enough for CJ and he doesn’t either. Not even himself but what if? What if he did this? Will it ruin their friendship or make them even closer?
I fucking knew I would love this book but damn…it was even more than I expected. The characters are amazing. I felt invested in them for the very beginning until the very end. CJ has that shy, sweet demeanor with a side of sexy and flirty without knowing it. But once she lets it out, it’s on and it’s down right hot. Graham might not date long term but he also isn’t a complete manwhore either. He is just too busy for all that he would have to put into a relationship so he doesn’t do it. But, reading about this one week…he is good. Real good. At everything. Together, they are not only sexy as fuck but sweet, and funny.
Overall…I loved every minute of it! The characters. The lessons. The storyline. The passion. The lingerie. The movie references. Stephen King. Everything! I cried more than once. Laughed out loud. Got all kinds of hot and bothered. Thank you, Lauren and Lili for putting your words together to create this book. I hope you two do it again. Pretty please.
P.S. Love his nickname for her. And yes…I know that wasn’t fast.
Quotes:
“I know exactly what you need, Graham.”
Damn, that sounded . . . naughty.
“So far, so good?”
“So, so good,” I assure him, my fingers driving into his thick hair as he drags his teeth across the skin at the base of my neck.
“Good. Because that’s what tonight is about. Making you feel good. You shouldn’t worry about pleasing any man until he’s proven he can please you.”
“You worked up is my favorite dirty dream.”
Friends to lovers trope always works for me as that’s how my husband and started. This story felt real, as their unfaltering friendship and obvious love for each other prevailed throughout.
A sexy read!
Turns out he’s learning something too…
The trouble is he doesn’t have the answer key to what to do when he fall hard for her…
And that throws a whole new hitch in his plans…
This book took me FOREVER to finish. I just couldn’t get into it even though I love the authors’ books. I am a bit disappointed in this novel. The only redemption and the reason I gave it four stars? It was because of the last few chapters – very romantic.
Full of laughter, steam, friends, loss and romance.
Perfect for readers of contemporary romances.
I’ve been in a bit of a contemporary romance slump, but this book was full of sparkling chemistry and all the feels! The characters were very likeable and I really enjoyed the natural way they dealt with each other. The emotional heft was there, too, but it never bogged down the fast-moving plot.
If you haven’t given this one a try yet, it’s a definite winner!
If Sebastian York as the voice of our hero isn’t enough to set your heart and panties on fire, you need to clean your ears!
I don’t know about you but brother’s best friend romances always make me swoon. I find it especially odd because my brother’s friends were never hot! There was no crushing after them, no swooning, and the one time one asked me out I begged my mom to say I was too young to date….I guess the fantasy tends to be better than the reality! And this aural pleasure is definitely fantasy inducing!
The V Card is exactly what you expect with the title. What you might not expect is the smirk inducing humor, the incredibly sexy lessons, and the mush creating sweetness!
Enjoy these lessons with head phones if your out in public or it could get scandalous!
Graham makes lingerie. And there is something sexy about a mam who makes things that make women feel sexy. CJ, our virgin, wasn’t afraid to go for what she wanted. Yes, she is a virgin. No spoiler, but what makes me like her is that she wanted her first time to mean something with someone who means something lol. I really can’t phrase that any better. Stephen King…lol So many cute, warm and fuzzy moments. The memories they have about her brother and his best friend, pulls at your heart. Even though their initial coming together was based on CJ’s ‘7-day lessons’, you could immediately tell there was so much more to them. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite troupes.
A good story that kept me hooked but it felt a little lacking in places and I struggled to get back into the story when I picked it up again a couple of days later. I loved the plot idea and would read something else by these authors. It allowed me to switch off and forget about life for a while, so it did what I needed. The V Card is a sweet romance
What do you do when your deceased brother’s best friend asks for your support with the board of the company he formed with your brother? This company they formed is a lingerie company so he knows what women want. You ask him for him to teach you all about lust, love making, sucking, blowing and every other activity that will result in you being an expert in bed, and the mind-blowing orgasms are a definite bonus. CJ is 25 and is desperate to lose her virginity and knows that Graham is just the man to do it – he cares for her, she trusts him to look after her and most importantly, he is hot! Fun read.
Predictable
cute- predictable
The writer was able to capture my attention from the beginning, forcing me to continue to read to find out what happened.
