Wow! Yep, that was pretty much my comment at the end of this book. I won’t tell you why you will just have to read it yourself.
One of the things I love about Meghan is her versatility! How she can give you laugh out loud humor, or an alpha male, or serious thought-provoking dialogue, and now . . . a sweet old-fashioned romance.
Falling in love with Colby and Rory is expected. It is the sweet tale of boy meets girl, the let me in and I’ll let you in, the sweetest and purest of loves. There is so much passion, tenderness, discovery, and love leading up to the conclusion of book one. There is so much beauty in her words, a fairy tale comes to life. But this story is so much more than the love of a boy and girl. It is the love of family, and friends, the closeness of brother and sister, the harshness of abuse, and the spirit of determination. Of course in life changes come, and courses alter and sometimes things are not as they seem,
Meghan left me on the brink of insanity with the ending of book one of the Blue Line Duet, The Upside of Falling. It is a shut your mouth, what the hell just happen moment. Afterall, Meghan can provide a shock factor! I am too excited and also scared to see where she goes with book 2!
Once again Meghan, a five-star read!
I’ve just finished the most epic and brilliantly written love story. I’m tangled, twisted and turned totally inside out. This book has me all tied up in knots and begging for more. The kind of story that gives you all the feels and yet you know it’s going to destroy ever single piece of you. The Upside of Falling has left me completely and utterly speechless. I am blown away. I am in a state of shock and denial. I have’t had a book make me feel this way in such a long time….
The Upside to Falling is the kind of book that just sneaks up on you. It sweeps you off your feet and you just know within minutes that this book is going to be epic. The pull and draw of the characters sucking you in and devouring the pages. This is the kind of story that you can’t put down, but just know that some how this story is just going to break you.
Colby and Rory are 100% meant for each other. Rory is persistent and has the biggest heart. She is stronger than she looks, determined and loves with everything she is. She never meant to fall for Colby, but knew that he was the kind of man that you live for. He’s broody and kind of a jerk. He’s broken and beautiful at the same time. He doesn’t let many people in, but when he does….look out. He jumps in with both feet and doesn’t hold back.
The road to happily ever after is not an easy one for these two. Their road is filled with baggage and painful memories. It’s filled with obligations and doing what they each think is best for the other. Their journey is filled with so much pain and heartache. I had a feeling these two would break my heart, but I held on. I couldn’t get enough. I had to see how their story would end. Despite all the pain and angst, this story had so many beautiful moments. Moments to make you swoon and burst with joy. Moments that had you believing in love.
I fell in love with The Upside to Falling from the very first page. From the palpable & intense emotions, to a love story that would defy everything, to letters that I could just read all day and seeing the little pieces they each gave. Yes, I fell in love quickly and allowed these characters to burrow deep in my soul. Their story captivating me, intriguing me and leaving me begging for. A story whose ending shocked me to my very core. With tears still fresh in my eyes and words that are failing me, I will just leave you with this: The Upside to Falling was a damn good read. I need book 2 in my life like yesterday. My emotions are all over the place and I can not wait to see how this story will end. The Upside to Falling totally knocked me off my feet and has without a doubt earned its place as a top read of 2018 for me and is one of my favorite reads by this author to date.
There is so much to love about the Upside to Falling. This love. This story is epic and unforgettable. It will make you swoon. It will make you rage. It will frustrate you and make you want to throw your kindle. It will have you begging for Book 2 and will leave you in the best emotional mess. And I gotta tell you, the rollercoaster ride is so worth it. Rory and Colby are worth it. Their love is worth fighting for and I hope you’ll check out their journey and fall madly in love with Rory and Colby just as I did.
A Top Read of 2018!!!
At the beginning of the synopsis, it was written that the Upside of Falling was “gripping, heart-stopping, and an incredible epic journey with a twist you’ll never see coming.” That statement is 100 % accurate. My heart certainly pounded, and it kept me up well into the night. And the ending….holy cow….never in a million years did I see that one coming.
Meghan Quinn had me in the prologue with Colby. I knew then he would grow into an incredible man, and he did. Granted, he was pretty rigid, but he had to be. Routine kept him stable and kept him on the road to his goal of becoming a fighter pilot. That one dream kept him going during the trying and dark times in his life, and he wants no distractions to get in the way. He has made sure he has none until Rory. He knew he was in trouble the moment he saw her,
“There is an air of exuberance surrounding her, a bright beacon in the dark night. Her smile, her laughter…It lights up the night, drawing attention to her from everyone around her. There’s no denying her beauty or the way she so easily captures people. But I’m not sure she’s aware.”
This one moment will completely turn his world upside down, and he will be faced with some life-altering decisions.
Rory was a character I really liked and respected. She was a young woman who had a dream as a young child, but life threw her a curveball. She had to give up those dreams, but instead of being bitter, she tries to live a life that will make her happy. For the most part, she is. However, she wants love just like everyone else. She spends times caring for others, and she wants someone to take care of her. So far, she hasn’t had much luck until she meets Colby. Just like with him, she knew in that one moment, her life is changed.
“Colby is different. He’s commanding with the strength in his step, the stiffness of his broad shoulders, the mysterious searching of his cautious eyes, and the strong set in his carved jaw. There is an air about him that sucks you in the moment you make eye contact, taking you on a stomach-dropping, heart-stopping journey.”
Her life is complicated, and as she and Colby begin falling in love, the direction of his life will impact hers, and she will also have to face tough life-altering decisions.
Oh my gosh, I don’t think I have enjoyed watching two people fall in love as I did these two. It brings back memories of falling in love with the man who was “the one for me.” Quinn created such complex and relatable characters in Colby and Rory which helped me connect with them on such an emotional level.
This book is much different from the books I normally read from Meghan Quinn, but it is just as good! I still saw a little bit of Quinn’s trademark humor in the banter between Colby and Rory and their relationships with their friends, but this one is much heavier. As other readers are saying, I never in a million years saw that ending coming, so I’m incredibly anxious to get my hands on the next book.
“There may be an upside to falling, but there sure as hell is a downside to love . . .”
Meghan, what have you done to my poor heart? I feel like I have just woken up from a COLBY LIKE COMA and I am lost…
I have enjoyed and loved all your books for so many reasons but The Upside of Falling is in a different category. I read this book from cover to cover in one night. I felt as though I was standing right next to Colby all throughout the book.
To be perfectly honest, I am stuck … I do not know how I am supposed to write a review, I am lost for words.
I was spellbound. The story is really breath-taking. I can describe all the emotions I have felt while reading it. When I completed this book I felt as if my heart was …
The way Meghan Quinn uses the words is simply magical. I won’t say much about the characters because the plot and the whole story revolves around them so entirely I don’t know how to portray them without giving it all away.
Rory is an inspirational heroine- she is strong, determined and caring.
“Fear lives in every one of us, but how we experience that fear lies with us.”
But Colby stole the show for me. His journey in life is not an easy one but what lessons you will learn as you follow him. His grandpa and he brought tears to my eyes. He is a damaged man just trying to get through life with no more pain. He closes himself off from people and won’t let his heart get attached to anyone, until he sees her…
“But this girl? This girl is challenging my necessary solitude. She’s challenging the wall around my heart and soul, and I need to ensure she isn’t successful in breaching it.”
What you need to know is that this story is about LOVE and a testament of what Love is willing to endure and sacrifice. Beautiful, inspiring and unconditional in more ways than one.
Meghan Quinn has made me feel so many feels all at once. I went from happy to sad, laughing to crying so many times. The best thing is that I am sure that I can read this book a million times and I’ll cry every single time.
The letters…….
The Upside of Falling is a masterpiece, perfect in every way. The emotions portrayed by MQ are second to none- H.E.A.R.T- W.R.E.N.C.H.I.N.G!
“The calm. When you give in to the calm, you lose track of what matters the most. That’s when you settle. And it’s when your hopes and dreams are put on hold. I can’t give in to the calm. I need the turbulence.”
This is the first of two books in the Blue Line Duet. Its an okay start. The first half was slow to grab me though. I do want to read the next. I have to find out what happens next, especially after that ending. It is a cliff hanger because this is a duet. So be prepared.
Colby is overcoming his childhood by following his dreams. It is happening for him. Life does throw him a curve ball by throwing Rory into his path.
Dreams can, and do, change though.
Rory gave up on her dreams for her brother. She doesn’t regret it though.
I did like these two together.
I loved the letters.
I really want to know what’s next. And WTF Stryder! What the AF.
I give this a 3.5
I’m an avid reader. I like to read. A LOT. My favorites HEA stories. Guy meets girl (or girl meets guy), they fall in love and live happily ever after. That’s what I like. Meghan Quinn is not a new author for me. She writes these fabulous Rom-Com stories that always have me laughing and leaves me with a smile. But her newest book, The Upside of Falling (The Blue Line Duet), is a total step out from her norm. And it ROCKS.
The Upside of Falling is Colby & Rory’s story. Colby has a dream. It’s a dream he’s had his entire life. He wants to fly jets for the USAF. He’s focused & determined. Being a cadet at the USAF, he doesn’t have time for life outside of his classes and routine. And he’s okay with that. Until he meets Rory. Rory is content with her life. She works, has her best friend Ryan and her family. Does she yearn for the dreams that never were? Yes, but fate has a way of stepping in and shaking things up. When Colby & Rory meet the chemistry is strong. Colby see her for the distraction she will be in his life and Rory see a handsome guy that she wants to know better. Can she get him to open up and live life? And can Colby let down his guard and live outside of his strict military regiment? Will their love be able to survive?
The Upside of Falling is heartbreakingly sweet. Meghan takes a step away from her norm but still brings us a powerful story. I immediate fell in love with Colby & Rory. Their story was poignant and sweet. The emotions this story invoked were strong. I definitely used a whole box of tissues. With this being a duet I should have guessed what was going to happen. But I didn’t. And the epilogue? GUTTED ME. Meghan has always written these upbeat love stories but I think The Upside of Falling is her best book yet. The depth of the characters. The emotional rollercoaster ride. The love and drama had me enthralled. This was a book I picked up and finished in a day. A DAY. I am excited to see what will play out in the second book. But for now, I’m going to wipe away my tears and dive in again. This is definitely a book you want to pick up. Read it. Love it. I promise you won’t regret it.
Oh my gosh…
Wow. Just, wow.
This book quite simply just wrecked me and I hope that the second part of this duet can pull me back together again.
Colby Brooks. This man here, is everything. So focused, so determined, so broken yet so perfect. I wanted nothing more than to wrap him up in my arms and love him from page one. To become the man he is wasn’t easy. It was a long and difficult road. But there’s so many layers to him that you never know which Colby you’re truly going to get. He’s quite a remarkable character.
Rory is the light to Colby’s dark. I think that’s why he’s so drawn to her, even though it’s the last thing he wants or needs in his life. She’s exactly what Colby needs at the exact right time he needs it.
You guys…this book is unlike anything I’ve read from Meghan Quinn before. Admittedly I haven’t read all of her work…YET…but I can’t rave enough about this story so far. I’m so in love with Colby and I can’t wait to find out what happens in the conclusion. Be warned though: this book will leave you hanging and with a depleted supply of tissues. Make sure you stock up before the Downside of Love releases on July 5th.
It seems as if Meghan Quinn either write books that make me laugh and smile throughout or ones that shatter my heart and make me cry and The Upside of Falling falls in the latter of those two categories. Let’s not even get started on the fact that it’s a duet, but at least I was able to sort of (not really) brace myself for the “ending.” Colby is EVERYTHING. He sort of reminded me of Aaron from The Other Brother, but that’s probably just because we meet him as a child and I just wanted to wrap him up and love him. I sort of hate it (it books and irl) when people feel as if they have to give up having love or a healthy relationship in favor of their dreams/careers, but somehow Meghan Quinn made the concept tolerable in this instance. While I loved Rory and her family, all I really care about in the scheme of things is Colby and his happiness and whatever has to be done for him to get his HEA. Now, it’s super hard to get into any plot points without spoiling it, but I will say enter equipped with tissues and I NEED THE DOWNSIDE OF LOVE NOW! And given the title of part 2 in this duet, I guess I need to brace myself for more tears and heartache… 5 out of 5 wine glasses.
Smoking hot taciturn men in uniform are irresistible and Meghan Quinn has created the perfect book boyfriend to fall in love with in the first installment of the Blue Line Duet.
Despite his appalling past and practically nonexistent support, Colby Brooks has a single minded focus on achieving his lifelong dream, to be become a fighter pilot. He’s determined to avoid any and all distractions. But after enough cajoling from his best friend Stryder he goes out one night and his life will never be the same.
In this tale where invisible wounds are deep and difficult to overcome, Colby retreats behind an icy cold veneer but the beautiful, persistent and kind Rory Oaks achieves the seemingly impossible, to get through his impenetrable shields and alter his path. But even though they are perfect for each other Rory has issues of her own. They are at different stages of their lives and finding a way to be together may prove to be heartbreaking.
The book moves between sweltering hot sexy bits, sad segments of Colby’s past, and beautiful letters between Colby and Rory filled with empathy and honest communication, all while the two fall profoundly in love regardless of their impending impasse. Vague? Yes. Sorry. Not sorry. Spoilers hinder all the feels!
Quinn skillfully delves into one man’s tormented past and present determination as the backdrop for deep soul searching and a deeply satisfying romance even though it’s hard to envision a happy ending given the shocking cliffhanger we were left with, but I eagerly away the next book with the promise of true love combined with Quinn’s ability to make me smile, laugh and swoon.
The Upside of Falling is the first book of the Blue Line duet by Meghan Quinn. It is a touching, sweet and sexy contemporary romance, told from both points of view with a cliffhanger.

Navigating my way through this book, I fell in love with the characters.
There is some back and forth between past and present, but it’s needed to learn who Colby is and how he grew. It’s slightly heartbreaking, reading about his childhood, but knowing he became stronger despite it, is worth it!
Meeting Rory is hard on him, because he can’t see the whole picture at first, but fate knows what she’s doing.
Their letters are everything, allowing them to grow instead of focusing on the physical of their relationship.
This book does end on an emotional cliffhanger and is well worth the book hangover, and it’s not a long wait for the next installment of Colby & Rory’s adventures.
“I could tell your touch was something that would wake my bones, lift me to a new level I wasn’t ready for.”
You guys….The Upside of Falling has become my absolute favorite Meghan Quinn book. It’s so raw, beautiful, devastating and uplifting. Sounds contradicting but it’s really not. It’s honest and true. From start to finish, I was captivated by both Colby and Rory.
Colby is a man used to regime that is focused on getting into flight school. That’s been his number one goal since he was a little boy and despite an upbringing that led someone into his life with nasty comments to bring him down, he’s been striving towards this goal. His best friend has always tried to get him to let loose and live a little bit more but he wasn’t interested. No distraction. Yet all it took was one time to allow something different into his life and he meets Rory. She’s a game changer. She’s the distraction he doesn’t want and didn’t know he needed.
Rory is such a gentle soul and the moment she met Colby, she felt drawn to him. Like she was made for him to open up to. She makes it her mission to crack that tough facade and figure out who he is beneath it. While he makes it tough, she doesn’t give up. Now these two are embracing a new relationship and learning to fall in love. It isn’t easy but it’s them.
I don’t think I can give this story the praise that it deserves. I don’t know how to articulate the amount of emotion and the connection I felt with these two. I wanted to be Rory’s friend. I wanted to be Colby’s friend. I wanted them to have an epic love. I just wanted everything for them.
Honestly, The Upside to Falling is an emotional story that speaks to my heart and my soul. It’s been a really long time that I’ve been so invested in the connection between the two main characters. If you want your heart to soar and to feel all the emotions, then you need to get this gem now. Don’t go into it with any expectations. Experience it from start to finish with a clean slate and let the writing guide your experience. It will be worth it.
How do you complain about a book that makes you feel every thing? Apparently it’s hard, so I will just complain about my imaginary bond with the author instead.
So here goes:
Meghan Quinn (the author of many awesome novels-this one included) is a meany. YES, you read that correctly. She is a meany. A mean person. A person who does mean things. What did she do? Well, I’m glad you asked. That way I feel obligated to share my heart break…(But only because you asked!)
Meghan Quinn wrote a book called The Upside of Falling. You’ve heard!?! Good, buy it and you will see all of my points. The Upside of Falling is part of a duet. Which means- she left me hanging. ME!?!?! Of all people, I mean really! It’s like a vendetta.
A duet. (Shakes head at the audacity)
The Upside of Falling is a wonderful, sweet, and whirlwind of amazing happy feels. It’s the perfect fairytale. One night changes everything. Can you feel the freaking hearts and rainbows!?!?!?! It exudes the complete and utter contentment of falling in love. It’s beautiful and peaceful. It’s sexy and sweet. Everything is perfect!!!!
Remember I said fairytale though….yeah! That lightbulb in your head went on didn’t it? Fairytales always have something or someone that goes wrong…
I see it just hit you. The dimming of the rainbows and the not as happy spark in your eyes. You now know where I am. I’m in that place that drags you down. The not so fun part of the fairytale.
It’s like all the color left Oz. So I’m here in this drab, lifeless version of my happy place waiting. Waiting for hope. Waiting for mercy. Waiting for my Happily Ever After! Come wait with me! (Misery loves company!)
Prove to Meghan Quinn we aren’t taking this lying down! Declare war on her duet! We need The Downside Now!

I’ve made no secret of how much I adore Meghan Quinn’s writing. Her romantic comedies just tick all of my boxes with their laugh-out-loud humor, witty banter and sexy romances. But what I love most about this author is how she never fails to surprise me with the emotional punch she builds into her stories. Having read the vast majority of her work, I even know it’s coming, and yet I’m still surprised each and every single time. It takes some serious skill as a writer to pull that off so consistently, and without question, Meghan Quinn definitely has it.
When I first read the blurb for The Upside of Falling, I was intrigued to say the least. I knew right off the bat that this would be something very different from the talented Quinn. I just had no idea how different it would be, and once again, this author has taken me by surprise. The Upside of Falling is not a romantic comedy. What it is, though, is a deeply moving, epic journey to soul-awakening love. Larger than life, grand on every measurable scale, this is a wholly unforgettable love story. Passionate and sexy when it needed to be, it was also raw and heart-breaking at times while still managing to be uplifting and hopeful. The delicate balance of this story was masterfully portrayed by Meghan Quinn in what is undoubtedly her finest work to date.
The Upside of Falling is only the beginning of this love story. It left me utterly gob-smacked and reeling, with my heart beating wildly in my chest and my mind racing with possibilities. To say that I’m anxious for the sequel in this duet is the understatement of the year. Days after I’ve finished it, I’m still thinking about it, still talking about it, still obsessing over it. I cannot wait to get my hands on The Downside of Love, and if it’s half as well written as The Upside of Falling, Meghan Quinn will have given her readers a truly remarkable, memorable romantic saga that will stay with them long after they finish reading it. If I could, I’d give The Upside of Falling by Meghan Quinn all the smooches, but since I can’t, five smooches from me are just going to have to do.

This book grabbed me by the heart immediately. The characters have so much depth and emotion to them. They reel you in and you’re invested in them before you even realize it. Even knowing this was a duet and would have some sort of cliff hanger I was still left slack jawed and feeling like I was sucker punched in the stomach unable to breathe. Once I’ve caught my breath, I’m gonna need book 2….like ASAP.
Awwww holy hell! Meghan has done it again! Just when you think “There is NO WAY Meghan can top her last book”, she does it with epicness!
The Upside of Falling is book one of the Blue Line Duet. And what an introduction!
This story is about Colby and Rory.
Oh where to start….I loved how Rory pursued Colby. I could totally understand Colby’s hesitance at letting Rory into his world. I actually caught myself talking out loud (quietly, because I didn’t want to look too crazy!) to Rory and Colby as they navigated their relationship.
I loved the old fashioned ness of their relationship. When you read this story, and trust me this is MUST READ, you will understand what I mean by this!
I loved and hated the backstory of both Colby and Rory. Both tragic in their own ways, but also made them the persons they are today. Colby is an old soul, you can really feel it as you read this book. Rory is loyal and loves unconditionally. (Or does she?!?) You have to read to find out!
I lived in Colorado Springs for 12 years, so to read about so many places I had visited and lived was such a nostalgic element for me! From Manitou Springs, to Garden of the Gods and Seven Falls. It made me miss Colorado all the more!
I enjoyed and actually cringed a bit with some of the secondary characters. I loved some and absolutely hated others. Some started as loving and turned to dislike. But I am not too sure because Meghan is a dirty, dirty tease and left us with one helluva cliffhanger!
I will be waiting on tenterhooks for the final novel in this duet! You are amazing Meghan! Don’t ever stop writing!!
Even though book one of Meghan Quinn’s Blue Line Duet is titled The Upside of Falling, at the start and even throughout Colby and Rory’s story, it’s clear that Colby doesn’t see an ‘upside’ for his attraction and desire for the girl who just won’t let him remain isolated or singularly focused on his goal of being a pilot.
But as their story progresses and readers begin to understand the reasons behind Colby and Rory’s respective drive and what allows them to continue to pursue a worthwhile life despite the trials they’ve had to endure, we can’t help but hope that Rory gets through to Colby and he finds a way to allow her into his heart, so they can begin to work towards something that will sustain them both regardless of the memories of their pasts and the obstacles of their current lives.
Because The Upside of Falling is told through both Colby and Rory’s perspectives, readers truly understand where each character is coming from and the reasons behind their words and actions, and while Quinn makes readers work a bit to unravel everything about the hero and heroine to a point where true enlightenment can occur, it’s definitely worth the effort, and even with how things end in book 1, readers can trust that Quinn will heal us all no matter how long it takes.
I love when writers venture away from the tropes that their readers know them for and craft stories that have spoken to them…have seeped into their heart and soul demanding they be told. Meghan Quinn definitely knows how to bring the humor and steam to her storylines, but in her new duet, she focuses on the heavier/darker sides of life…how people’s pasts affect their futures…how other people’s actions can both directly and indirectly shape the lives of those around them…how life can be unfair, heartbreaking, and crippling in ways that no-one could have imagined.
I’m anxiously awaiting The Downside of Love, and while I know I’ll be put through the ringer, I’m holding onto the fact that Quinn will take her characters and her readers back up after they endure all that must be endured.
4.5 Poison Apples
A heart-wrenching story that has me counting the days until the next book
Book 1 of The Blue Line Duet, while I’ve read a few books by this author by now, I knew going in that this wasn’t going to be quite like her usual read. For me though, if I like an author, I typically like whatever they write, so I was pretty confident about this. In fact, I actually liked this even more than the author’s romantic comedies, which sometimes verge on being a little too over the top for my personal taste.
The author did a great job of creating characters and evoking emotions, particularly when it came to Colby. My heart just broke so much for him, and I wanted to comfort that lonely and abused child just as much as I wanted to heal the lonely and emotionally scarred young man (and kudos to the author for an adept use of flashbacks to give us young Colby’s story; something I usually find annoying because it breaks up the flow for me was smoothly integrated into a story I was so deeply engaged in, I barely even noticed when it happened, only realizing it later as I was writing up this review). I felt for Rory, too, but there was more admiration for the strength of character she showed in giving up her personal dreams to help care for her brother–something that in addition provided a logical base for the decisions she made later on. Though a secondary character, I also came to care deeply for Colby’s friend, Stryder, and my heart broke for him as well as he dealt with a less than ideal father.
As I knew this was the first part of a duet, I was already a little on edge from the start, knowing that something was going to happen to lead into the second book, and the closer I got to the end (I was constantly watching that percentage mark), the edgier I got. Even though I half expected some of what happened, the ending was still pretty gut-wrenching, and there were some twists I didn’t see coming.
A heart-wrenching story that still had some nice moments of humor, I’ll be counting down the days until we get the second book. 5 stars

I need to start this review by saying WTF!! HOLY Mother of what the heck just happened! What did I just read??!! I love this author to pieces or boob squeezes like she says all the time, but why Meghan why?? I have a major book hangover after reading this book and that hasn’t happened to me in quite some time. Funny enough the saying that has ran through my head and what I would say to Meghan Quinn- From the great Ricky Ricardo “Lucy, you got some ‘splainin to do!” I am truly deeply affected by this ending as many would be, and I truly hope that in the next book there will be some redemption… this cliffy bites me in the arse for sure!
Colby and Rory have a whirlwind romance, the kind that you want to have and cherish forever…. but love doesn’t always conquer all, in fact it seems to have blinded Rory and Colby…. but can they make it a forever kind of love or does fate have different plans for them?
OK- that being said it was slow start to the story or to the good stuff… and it was missing the Meghan spark for me. So with all of these things I would have to rate this book a 3.5 stars. The writing was spectacular as always, the steamy scenes were off the charts… but the gaping whole it has left me has my heart and stomach in the dumps and I think im blinded by those things and I am having love/hate relationship with this book right now… Downside of Falling I hope you redeem this story for me!
What a great emotional story about love, dreams and sacrifices. Oh man are Colby and Rory amazing characters. Their instant connection and chemistry sealed the deal for me. The whole story grabbed my attention right from the start and I didn’t want to put it down. To me, I think the ending left at a great spot because holy moly cow, I can not wait for the next one to come out. I was shouting at my iPad at the end. Seriously, can’t wait to see what happens next!
This book left me in the most emotional book hangover that I can’t even put into words. This book is emotionally captivating.
Be ready to fall in love,
get hurt,
swoon your romantic heart out,
then fall in all over again love,
feel betrayal,
feel compassion,
fall apart,
just literally all the feels.
I’m soo in love with Colby.
Like literally my cherries have fallen hard for him.
I can’t wait to find out what happens with Colby in book 2 which comes out next month.
