12th century England: Two men vie for the throne: King Stephen the usurper and young Duke Henry the rightful heir. Amid civil and private wars, alliances are forged, loyalties are betrayed, families are divided, and marriages are made.
For four years, Lady Annyn Bretanne has trained at arms with one end in mind—to avenge her brother’s murder as God has not deemed it worthy to do. Disguised as a … Disguised as a squire, she sets off to exact revenge on a man known only by his surname, Wulfrith. But when she holds his fate in her hands, her will wavers and her heart whispers that her enemy may not be an enemy after all.
Baron Wulfrith, renowned trainer of knights, allows no women within his walls for the distraction they breed. What he never expects is that the impetuous young man sent to train under him is a woman who seeks his death — nor that her unveiling will test his faith and distract the warrior from his purpose.

Fantastic research, character development and world building. A thoroughly engaging, jousting medieval romp.
I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I started reading this book, but with each page that I turned it was getting harder to put down. When I finally finished the book, I sat there and I was ready for the next book in the series. This was a great book to read set in that time period. Great descriptions this is going to be a great series to …
This is my first book to read by Ms. Leigh. It certainly won’t be last! I’m grateful to authors who place their books in KU or I may never have discovered this amazing author!
I love Lady Annyn Bretanne! She is courageous and spunky. She also has a strong sense of loyalty. For four years, she has trained at arms to avenge her brother’s …
I liked this book, would like to read the other books in this series.
I really enjoyed this book.
Lady Annyns brother is returned home dead after being sent to Walfrun’s to train as knight. Lady Annyn plans revenge on his killer.
Great story. Thank you for your talents!
I truly appreciated this book.
This is an easy read for filling in wait time, or reading in bed before sleep. All I want then is to be entertained, which this book did. The book was fairly predictable, but much better that the Hallmark Christmas shows on the Hallmark Channel.
A good story draws the reader in, the story world convincing and real.
This story wrapped around me like a blanket, and transported me right into its midst. Ms. Leigh envelops the reader from the first page, her manner of telling—nay, conveying the story compelling, convincing. Ms. Leigh’s use of the language and syntax of the day made her story …
This is the second book I’ve had the pleasure of reading by Tamera Leigh. I love her use of language!!!! It’s so beautiful, I don’t want to stop reading. Her characters are entertaining, the plot is very intriguing, and the story just won’t let me go. Love these books and I will continue to read anything by her. I’m not a reader of medieval …
Very enjoyable adult read. I always appreciate books by Tamara Leigh with strong romance and tension but no unnecessary smut.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Unveiling. I couldn’t get myselft to take a break from reading it. It’s full of action, very entertaining and very clean romance. Well done Tamarah Leigh. I’m looking toward to read the next book in the series.
This is the first book that I read of Tamara’s and is defiantly not the last. Cannot wait for her next book to come out, hopefully in this era.
Seeking revenge just to find love
I loved reading about life in the 10th century. The drama, action, and romance combination was wonderful. The characters were intriguing. I loved this whole series.
I can’t get enough of this story. Garr – Pardon, Baron Wulfrith – is so swoon worthy, I have to read this book at least once a year. =)
Realistic, I’d like to think so. 12th century England, murder, revenge against all odds. Four years to train, to master new skills to take out one of the best of England’s warriors. The characters were likable. An interesting story that not only held my attention but also persuaded to purchase more works from this author. The stories of this …
One of the best books I ever read.
The best books call you back to them after a couple of years to read again. The Unveiling is one of those books. Tamara Leigh is one of the best historical writers for giving the reader the flavor of a language past without making it impossible to understand. She writes about no nonsense Medieval men whose hearts are eventually softened by the …
I found it interesting, adventurous and enjoy this era.
