Sweet and oh so sexy story.
Leddy Harper never fails to put a smile on my face. The uneXpected Plan did that and a whole lot more. I laughed, I cried. And even when I was shouting at these two characters to get their heads out of their ‘you know what’s’. I was still entranced by their attraction. The chemistry and banter is spot and I couldn’t put this down. I just had to read one more page, then one more chapter. Then I complained when it was finished because there were no more words.
Perfect book for a cozy seat and a wet weekend.

The unEXpected Plan is a fabulous read. If you love books that get back at the ex or even best friends brother type romance then this is one for you. I love Corbin and his connection with his sister. He would do anything for her. He is sweet and yet you have this feeling that something is missing in his life. Brooklyn is so caring. You can’t help but to love her big heart and how she goes out of her way for her students. I love Brooke and Nellie, these two best friends are like sisters and will make you laugh and smile over their antics. There is a nice slow burn that develops between Corbin and Brooklyn. You slowly begin to see the changes between workaholic Corbin and Corbin who is living life all thanks to Brooklyn. This book is fabulous and just gives you heart smiles. So one clickable and needs to be read.
What an enjoyable book to read. I really enjoyed the story of Corbin and Brooklyn and the unexpected way things came about. Brooklyn has a GREAT group of girlfriends who made me laugh on more than one occasion with their crazy antics and outrageous plans. My heart broke for Corbin and how dedicated to work he was and how he didn’t feel like he belonged anywhere in his life. The book was well written with great characters and I would definitely recommend it.
Corbin Fields was supposed to be the perfect man to help Brooke exact revenge on her cheating, no good ex-boyfriend… but the more time she spent with him the more she started to see he was also perfect for her heart too! But as much as she wanted him, she knew she could never have him. Acting on her feelings could be detrimental to her friendship with his sister Nell… and she just couldn’t bring herself to take that risk! Or could she?
The unEXpected Plan is a slow burning romance story about a couple who are brought together by a plan of revenge, but quickly learn that the plan might just have a better outcome than either expected. Watching these two try to maintain their distance for the sake of Brooke and Nell’s friendship was quite entertaining, they fought their feelings for so long, but love eventually won out… it was just too tough of a competitor. Their constant dance around one another brought heat to the pages, and their blossoming love for one another gave the heart a good squeeze… it was such a sweet story. I really enjoyed this one it had bits of humor to inspire a few smiles, lots of steamy action to bring on a case of the blushes, and loads of heartfelt emotion to get the feels going…it was a perfectly blended little literary escape! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
Loved Brooklyn and Corbin! Brooklyn teams up with her best friend, Nellie, to hatch a revenge scheme against Chase, her ex. They need Corbin, Nellie’s older brother to lure Chase’s new girl away. Only things do not go according to plan. Can these two find their happily ever after? 5 stars
“. . . it was more of a friendship with an asterisk next to it. And that asterisk had yet to be defined.”
When I want a fun, easy read with a bit of spice, Leddy Harper is one of the authors I turn to. She puts her own stamp on a bff’s sibling romance with The unEXpected Plan with Brooke (Bridge) and Corbin. It’s fun, filled with great humor, heart, and just the right amount of spice. However, the bff/sister, Nell’s sass and behavior verged too immature and some personal pet peeves left The unExpected Plan entertaining but not my favorite read by Harper.
