We listened to this driving through Montana. It’s a fantastic premise with unexpected characters. We listen to a lot of crime/thriller books and it’s so refreshing to hear one that mostly stays on the light side, even through dark episodes. A fun read. Good plot with some unexpected twists. I love Mrs Polifax and her homey, sensible solutions. Has good character development.
I love the Mrs. Pollifax series, she is smart and very likeable. This is my 4th time rereading the series.
Easy read/ listen for those who enjoy writers like Patricia Wentworth or Agatha Christie
