I started reading Mrs. Polifax many years ago. Very easy read. Noone ever suspects Mrs. Polifax as she follows all the clues.
I love emily pollifax. She is just too cute. She is with the CIA but who would believe this cute older lady is an agent and she does manage to save the day.
This is a fun adventure packed book. Mrs. Pollifax is an elderly widow who is challenged to combat the boredom of her life by doing something she has always dreamed of. Sooo – she goes to the CIA to volunteer to work for them. Well hold on to your “hat” and follow her adventures. I promise you will have fun.

I love Mrs. Pollifax. She is a little dated now but you can really get an idea of what it was like when women were not expected to be smart, tough, resourceful and creative.
