2018 READERS’ FAVORITE GOLD MEDAL AWARD WINNER IN CHRISTIAN FICTION.2016 IPA (INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHER AWARDS) GOLD MEDAL AWARD WINNER.DON’T WAIT UNTIL CHRISTMAS TO RECEIVE THE ENORMOUS BLESSING THIS BOOK OFFERS TO ALL WHO READ IT!What if angels really did come from the most unlikely of places? That’s exactly what happens in this heartwarming story, set in a homeless community in Anywhere USA. … community in Anywhere USA. Sent to Planet Earth by his Maker, disguised as a homeless person, Enoch was on a mission: to rescue a man whose life was slowly but steadily spiraling out of control.
Inspired by Hebrews 13:2, “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it,” this story will stir your soul like never before, guaranteed! “One of thebest, most thought provoking books I have read in a long time! It’s a perfectread for the Christmas season but would be good any time of year. I plan tohold on to it and read it over and over again” – Diane, Virginia.

“A made for TV Hallmark-style movie. Heartwarming, convicting, spirit-filled. I will do something I rarely do with a book and that is to read itagain. Biblically correct, not politically. Thank you Mr. Higgins” – D. Lyons
Please note that a few embellishments were made on the author’s behalf–regarding the above Scripture–that would never find their way into a non-fiction book. But make no mistake: even though the story line is purely fictional, the Gospel message weaved throughout its pages is very real. Eternally real. With that in mind, it is the author’s hope that all who read this book will be impacted more by the Gospel message than by the story itself.
Be sure to read Patrick Higgins’ award-winning prophetic series titled, Chaos In The Blink Of An Eye. The sixth installment is now available.

The Unannounced Christmas Visitor
A fan of Christian fiction and Christmas books, I decided to give this book a shot, and can’t say enough to good things about it. It definitely isn’t your typical Christmas book, but a very thought provoking book about being a “Christian” in more than name only. This story tells of an “Angel” living on earth as a homeless man, sent to lead others to the true Christ of Christmas, and to stir them from their complacent ways. This book caught my attention and drew me in right off.
I give this book 4 stars and look forward to reading more from this author.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit, but was not required to give a positive review. This is my honest opinion of this book.
I would recommend this for anyone to read no matter the season. I didn’t want to put it down
Loved the book. Great faith/inspirational message.
Loved this book. Wonderful story of personal and family strife. Humbling reality of life and packed with great scriptures.
Enjoyed every chapter. Learned more about the Bible.
This is a beautiful story. I found the characters very real. It left me wondering whether or not I could do more to help.
Best book I’ve read in years! I hated to have it end.
It was totally predictable in every way, but it did touch me and I am glad I read it.
If you even have a wisp of belief in God, you should read this book. Heck, read it even if you don’t so you can get an up close look at who and how Christians are supposed to act.
Not only are the characters beautifully drawn, their feelings fit their ages and circumstances.
I love that the homeless man (forgot his name) quotes directly from the Bible and applies that information directly to each of the family members circumstances.
I believe this book will reach each person who reads it in a different way. It’s truly a gift.
This is a book I’ll reread once every one or two years so I’ll remember the premises.
A throughly enjoyable book. Hard to put down even with the happy tears making it hard to read
I loved this book! A great witnessing tool.
Awesome book, and one that will be read again soon.
This is a good book because it confronts how we really practice Christian values. Themes of hypocrisy, narcissistic behavior and prejudice are contrasted with real compassion and charity. It is inspirational and if you enjoy Bible quotations to support the author’s main ideas then this is a book for you. There are many , many many quotations from the Bible.i gave it 4 stars because the plot moves slowly but I guess that is the type of book this is. I recommend it.
The story is a wonderful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas. I know we have all seen homeless people and probably looked the other way. What would happen if a homeless person came to your church one Sunday? Would they be welcomed or shunned liked Enoch was? I wasn’t shocked at all by the reaction from the congregation. It is sad but true that we sometimes miss our opportunity to reach out and be His hands and feet.
I loved Enoch and his wisdom. He may be an angel sent from God, but to me He was an answer to prayer for Lydia and John. Lydia was a joy to read about and I loved her heart to reach out to Enoch. Taking her children with her to feed the homeless was an eye opener to them. The lesson was good to show them that all they really wanted was for someone to care. I liked the message in the book but at times I felt it almost predictable. It became very preachy at times and turned into days of sermons and less about saving a marriage.
I’m not sure I would be so willing to bring a stranger into my house especially with young children, so that part of the story took me by surprise. I understand what the author is trying to get across to readers. We never know who we may encounter in our lives. We should always be kind and do what we can to reach the homeless, the hurting and the unwanted. I have heard people say ” I’m not giving them money cause they will just use it to buy drugs or alcohol.” God wants us to help not judge. We give money in hopes they will use it for clothes and food. But if they chose not to, it’s between them and God.
There were a few things I didn’t like such as how willing Lydia was to bring strangers to her home, and the almost forgotten part of the trouble in their marriage. The story focused on John and what he needed to change. But, in a marriage it takes two people. I wanted the author to show how Lydia needed to work on herself as well. The story has a good message of salvation and how we can entertain angels without realizing it.
I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion.
The unannounced Christmas visitor
The book started out good for me but parts of it got boring. It turned out a little different than I thought it would. An homeless man comes to their church and was made to sit on the back row. Lydia decides to be a friend to him and the other homeless ones in the same area. That part was very inspiring. I loved how the little girl Grace took to Enoch, it did not matter to her how he looked. We should all be like a young child. When Enoch came into their lives everyone changed for the better, especially John who was the father, and husband.
I received an complementary copy of the book from the publisher through Celebrate Lit. I was not required to write an positive review. This is my own opinion.
This is an amazing look at the redemption given by God!
The characters in this book are incredibly well developed. There is so much variety that just about any person you will come across in real life is represented by one of them. The problems that they face are extremely believable and understandable. Some of them have deep seated doubts about God and life itself. Others are standing on the firm foundation of belief in Jesus Christ. I was captivated by all of the different interactions.
The amount of scripture that is gone over is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the in-depth look at the Bible itself and the truth that is found in it. There is a lot of soul searching and growth. It gave me a lot to think about as I sought God about my own life too.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Celebrate Lit. I have chosen to write this review to express my personal opinion.
I find myself compelled to give this wonderful book a rating of 5 stars. I am highly recommending it.

An interesting story line, author Patrick Higgins reminds us that we are to show compassion towards all people. It’s so easy to get caught up in our own lives that we don’t see those in need. And it’s very easy for “religion” to become a façade until we let Christ truly become our Lord and Savior.
Higgins threads this story with truths from scripture, such as tithing of finances and time, attending a house of worship, etc. He also isn’t afraid to tackle tough subjects such as homelessness and marital troubles. While I found it to be a bit preachy at times, the heart of the story shines through.
I will say that I found it challenging to physically read due to the font type and size. I don’t have vision problems however I think if you do you’ll prefer an e-copy so you can adjust the font.
A heartwarming Christmas story of miracles, you’ll enjoy this book if you enjoy Christian fiction full of scripture references.
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
