USA Today Bestseller Leslie North invites you to indulge in a steamy billionaire romance with an unforgettable bad boy billionaire and the smart-talking woman who tames him…Reclusive billionaire inventor Gavin Burrows still thinks about Sarah Hanson—the woman he had a brief but memorable fling with three years ago. So he’s shocked when the pretty American woman shows up at his castle door … door pleading with him to not end his contract with his gardeners, who happen to be Sarah’s aunt and uncle. Sarah is desperate to complete the garden, but Gavin is desperate, too. He’ll do almost anything to get his mother to stop playing matchmaker—even if that means making a deal with Sarah to pose as his fiancée. She gets her garden, he gets his mother off his back. At least with Sarah posing as his fake fiancée, he can avoid all his mother’s marriage prospects. Coming from a large and rambunctious family, all he’s ever really wanted was to be alone to work on his inventions. He certainly won’t let one gorgeous gardener get in his way.
Sarah would never tell Gavin this, but that summer three years ago? She’d fallen hard for him. As an only child, Sarah has always wanted a large family, so when she learns he considers having a big, loud family akin to having the plague, she now realizes Gavin is definitely not the man for her. Still, she can’t resist the opportunity to restore Gavin’s historic garden to its former glory, so when he offers, she reluctantly agrees to pose as his fiancée and prays she can shield her heart. But even though she knows it’s temporary, she surrenders to their smoldering attraction and falls hard all over again. When Gavin’s parents throw them an engagement party, the guilt over all their lies begins to weigh heavy—as does the realization she’ll once again be left heartbroken.
As the garden she’s created turns out to be a spectacular achievement, Sarah can only wonder if her love for Gavin will wither or finally bloom into something just as grand…

Sarah Hanson and Gavin Burrows had a fling that lasted one summer but then they went their separate ways so he is stunned to see her in the gardens of the castle he has just bought. She is there because the gardening contract for the castle gardens has been terminated and her aunt and uncle own that contract. He informed her that gardens are a waste of time and he won’t be renewing the contract at all. That is until his mother starts match making holding a party with all the eligible women she can find luckily he is warned by his sister and he asks Sarah to go as his date Then he drops the announcement that she is his fiancee She agrees on the condition her relatives get the gardening contract for six months. There is only one problem the fake relationship is staring to feel oh so real Will they finally get a HEA together.
Another great read by Leslie North who brings another entertaining story. This is a fake fiance romance between Sarah and Gavin who have a past. What starts as a business deal evolves into so much more. She does a fantastic job building the story with all the drama and emotions flowing through the pages. Her characters are strong and her scenes are described in vivid detail. The story moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed watching the relationship grow along the way.

The Tycoon’s Fake Fiancé is Leslie North’s second book in the European Tycoon series. It is the story of Gavin Burrows, a billionaire inventor and new owner of a castle with garden grounds, and Sarah Hanson, a horticulturist who reappears in his life after a fling three years ago. Sarah is seeking a grounds contract for her family members and Gavin agrees to provide it if she will act as his fake fiancé since his mother is wanting him to marry. I recommend this great read with its well developed and realistic characters and a charming plot with sizzling romance.

I really enjoyed Gavin and Sarah’s romance. This fake fiancée story easily keeps you entertained while delivering plenty of feels. I thought that these two worked really well as a couple. Their attraction was strong and you could feel the heat between them. I felt that there was an overall air of sweetness to this tale that has a enticing blend of drama, emotional turmoil, tension and steam.
The Tycoon’s Fake Fiancée
Gavin Burrows, a wealthy billionaire inventor, cancels the gardening contract that the previous owner of the property had with Sarah Hanson’s aunt and uncle. Gavin is not interested in gardens.
Sarah’s aunt and uncle need the gardening contract, financially. Sarah designs gardens. She visits the estate to try to get the gardening contract reinstated. She knows that she can take the heavy physical load from her aging uncle. She does not know the property has a new owner. Gavin is insistent that he will not renew the contract.
Neither of them lets their intense prior relationship from 3 years before influence their decisions. Sarah wants a family; however, Gavin does not. Nothing has changed for either of them.
Call Gavin’s mother pushy. She sets him up with multiple gold diggers who want to wed. In desperation, he and Sarah strike a deal. Sarah will be his fake fiancée. When the garden is complete, they’ll part.
What can go wrong? Read and find out.

Enjoyable characters and storyline in a castle setting. A good second installment in the series. It wasn’t the best I’ve read by North, but it was good.

Sarah Hanson and Gavin Burrows had a fling three years ago. They unexpectedly run into each other when she wants to renegotiate the contract for the garden with castle owner. She is stunned when he says he is the owner and doesn’t want a garden. He convinces her to play along as his fiancee to keep his mother off his back. Will they come together or will they go their separate ways? I really enjoyed the clashing and coming together between the characters. Leslie always have a good story to share with the reader.
Billionaire Gavin Burrows hadn’t forgotten Sarah Hanson since that summer fling he had with her three years ago. They were both stunned to see each other here, however. Sarah said she had come to see the owner of this castle estate in order to reinstate the gardening contract that had been terminated, which happened to be her aunt and uncle’s contract. Gavin had just purchased the estate and he had cancelled the contract. Before they could discuss it, a tremendous downpour had them running for shelter. He made them tea and repeated that he would not reinstate the contract because he disliked gardens and didn’t want one. It was merely useless vegetation to him. Sarah immediately rose and headed toward the door, and he could think of nothing to make her come back.
Gavin’s sister texted him that their mother was gathering women to attend a party she was giving him – with the idea of having him select a bride! Gavin gets in touch with Sarah to attend the party as his date – then introduces her to his mother as his fiancée! Sarah tells him she would go along with this, but only if he reinstated the agreement with her aunt and uncle for the next 6 months.
As anticipated, Gavin and Sarah begin to feel more like a real couple in a relationship. As they agreement ends, Gavin knew he would need to tell his family the truth. Will he walk away from the woman who loves him? Or will he finally see that she is exactly what he needs?
I love this author’s books. They are so filled with feelings and emotions and provide a very satisfying story. Grab your copy and see if Gavin will lose the woman he never forgot.
Second chance
Touching romance, a little short, but very well written and full of emotions on a second chance with a couple who finds themselves after several years of separation. The characters are simple but endearing.
To save her uncle’s garden maintenance business, Sarah tries not to lose a contract when she recognizes one of her former lovers, Gavin, to whom she cared. After hard negotiations, he agrees to perhaps take over the contract if she accompanies him to an evening organized for him by his mother to place him with pretenders whom he does not want because he does not want to get married or have a family. But faced with harassment from her mother and the pretenders she invited, Gavin decides to present Sarah as his fiancée.

*Spoilers* This is book number 2 in the European Tycoon Book series. Sarah Hanson is an only child who’s dream in life is to have large family. Gavin Borrows is sexy, swoony, billionaire who will do anything to get his mother of his back when it comes to his love life. Sarah is a blast from Gavin’s past with there brief fling that they had. Gavin comes up with a business proposal that will give them both what they want which is Sarah being able to finish the garden and Gavin having her pose as his fake fiancee. The chemistry and passion between Gavin and Sarah is off the charts and the lines between what is fake and real starts to become blurry. Will secrets, lies, betrayal get in the way of them having a relationship. Will these two get there happily ever after you will have to read the book because I don’t want to spoil it for you.

Romance, romance, romance… Love – deceit – distance – fake – lies – romance – heartfelt – … and a lot more descriptive words that are possible to try to describe this romance. Romance through and through and if you dear reader are a wuss like me you need a tissue during certain chapters… Overall a very good romance and clearly deserving of the four stars I am giving it here.

I’ve she was there after three years had gone by since their torrid fling.
