Dear Sexy AF Intern, I know you don’t particularly care that I’m the CEO of this company, and you’re just an intern. I also know you’re not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that’s fine. You think you’ve got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don’t know me. Not really. You don’t know that I’m a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter … those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.
I’m not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we’re in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I’m figuring out which I want more–to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.
While you’re too disciplined to act on it, I’m not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.

Oh my God Kendall Ryan and her new book is just wow. I thought it was going to be another, I screw the boss story, but it is actually so much more. We have Presley, devoted sister and a workaholic at heart showing Dom what has been missing in his life. Now beware readers, Kendall Ryan gets you so worked up and excited it just makes her very imaginative to keep us guessing what will happen next. Loved it.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
Kendall Ryan delivers another great read. Office romance combined with a single dad, YES! I loved the the connection that Dominic and Presley had and I could not get enough of their story! I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the duet!!
4.5 Stars!
Dominic Aspen is a single 26 yr. old billionaire who is the owner and CEO of the prestigious hotel chain Aspen Hotels. He lives in Seattle where he spends most of his time either working or with his twin toddler daughters who are his everything. Being a single father and running an empire leaves him too busy to date, and he’s not looking for a relationship or anything long term. All he has to offer is something casual that doesn’t involve emotions or entanglements. His past has made him guarded and private about his personal life. Then a beautiful new intern named Presley Harper tests all his carefully controlled limits. He struggles to keep his attraction to her in check, and his willpower is slowly slipping the longer he’s around her. She’s intelligent, hard working, and absolutely stunning. How will he work alongside her without acting on his feelings?
Presley Harper is a 22 yr. old woman who just landed her dream internship at Aspen Hotels. She’s competing against other college graduates for a coveted spot on their team. Everything is going smoothly until she meets her devastatingly handsome new boss. He exudes confidence, power, and raw sex appeal. He’s intense, demanding, a little mysterious, and extremely distracting. With the growing sexual tension between them she’s having trouble concentrating and focusing. She has to stay professional, and can’t risk her career on a fling, but when they find themselves in a situation spending more time together, she realizes her heart may also be at risk.
The Two-Week Arrangement is a sexy, single dad, office romance. It’s book one in the Penthouse Affair series by Kendall Ryan. I really loved this story and can’t wait for the conclusion to Two-Week Arrangement in the next book Seven Nights of Sin!
This was really good. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
First off, let me just say that I enjoyed this so much I finished in one day. I liked both Presley and Dominic (Dom) a lot. I also liked Oliver, Fran, Bianca, Emilia, and Lacey. I thought we’d see a little more of the side characters in both of their lives, especially Presley’s brother given their relationship. The interactions between the two main characters were always entertaining, even when Dom was being a (mostly lovable) jerk. Seeing him with the twins was swoony, and made me love him more.
I’d have to pay more attention to the timeline, but I was pretty sure the trial period for the interns passed well before the end of the book. There wasn’t anything mentioned about who was staying/going. I also expected a little more focus on the internship (and the other interns) besides the initial couple of chapters. I wasn’t surprised by the “twist” at the end, but I thought it would be in the first quarter of the book instead.
This was a slower burn than I expected from the summary, but it played out in a believable way for these two. I’d known that this was a duet that had the same cast of characters, but then I forgot sometime between adding it to my TBR and reading it, so I was a little surprised when I finished the last chapter. Regardless, this had me hooked. I can’t wait to read the conclusion of this story in Seven Nights of Sin!
Once you start this book you will be hooked and unable to put the book down.
Kendall Ryan has delivered a brilliant office romance with hot as hell CEO Dominic. He made me swoon and fall in love/lust with his little girls, they honestly steal your heart.
I struggled in places with Presley as she honestly couldn’t be that clueless and naïve. I loved how she was strong and determined to help her brother out whilst fighting for her dream job.
The chemistry between Presely and Dominic was off the charts and palpable.
This book is fast paced and does leave in a cliffhanger that has left me wanting more with the next book. Cant wait
The Two-Week Arrangement is the new read by Kendall Ryan that introduces her readers to CEO Dominic and intern Presley as they discover the allure of temptation and the power of attraction.
Dominic is intense and powerful yet young to be a CEO. He is clearly an alpha male and does nothing but works all the time; his word is law. He thinks everything is fine in his world and at his company until he meets the new intern. Presley is sassy, intelligent, beautiful and is working to take care of herself and her brother.
Without giving too much information about the story away, know that you have to read their red- hot romance for yourself and you will find this book deliciously awesome! Dominic and Presley’s story is one you have to read for yourself , one that you appreciate and has you wanting more. I enjoyed reading this book and I don’t want to spoil a moment of the story. I can’t wait for what’s next!
My Rating: 4.5 stars ********
This book was so cute, fun and sexy! Dominic and Presley! An unexpected but fun and sexy couple. Presley is depending upon this internship to better her and her brother’s lives. She wasn’t looking for a relationship. Dominic isn’t used to anything but monetary transactions and no relationships. Presley knocks him off his feet. He finds himself in need of a date to help woo a client, and Presley happens to be in the right place at the right time. He wasn’t setting out to use his intern for more than work, but he genuinely likes her and she’s smart! I enjoyed the chemistry between this couple and watching their relationship grow, even though that’s not what they were going for here. I devoured this read and couldn’t read it fast enough. Now, I just have to wait to get my greedy hands on the next book! Be ready to fall in love with this couple and be sucked into their world!
This book was a total surprise! I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed all of the books I’ve read by this author, and was sure that this one would capture my attention, just as much as the others. But really, This Book Is Scorching HOT!!!!! But be prepared, it definitely ends on a cliff hanger (which I usually can’t stand!) I didn’t know that going in, but probably would have had a clue if I’d read the blurb for the next book! However, unlike with most cliff hangers, I don’t find myself annoyed that the story ended without a resolution, I just find myself eagerly anticipating the next book, and I can’t wait to find out what happens!
Dominic is a young, hot shot CEO of a Hotel empire he inherited from his dad. And he’s good at it, taking the company to places it’s never been before. But he also has a whole life that he doesn’t share with anyone, one that is top secret, and close to his heart. It also leaves him with no time for a romantic life.
Presley is a hardworking recent college grad, looking to make her place in the corporate world. Even though she is working to put her younger brother through college, she takes a position as an unpaid intern, hoping to turn it into her dream job. Except, the first time she runs into her boss, sparks fly, and it only gets hotter from there.
This book is full of surprises, heat, and just a bit of drama. I loved the connection between Dominic and Presley, and this story promises to only get hotter as it goes to book 2. It was a fantastic beginning, and I can’t wait to see how their story progresses!
I love Kendall Ryan! I am so in love with Dominic and Presley! They may be my newest favorite characters! Kendall has a beautiful way of sucking you into a story – so much you are always left wanting more! That is so true for The Two-Week Arrangement! FIVE HUGE CANNOT WAIT FOR MORE STARS!!
Wow. I am a big fan of Kendall Ryan’s work so the minute I heard about this book I wanted it. I have a thing for single dads in books; I just love them. This was a quick read for me-and the ending definitely had me trying to click for more pages in my kindle. I’m not always a fan of cliffhangers but this worked for me-and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I genuinely liked Presley and Dominic. I thought the spark between them was authentic and I enjoyed watching them together. I could feel the attraction between them and enjoyed the touch of forbidden with the boss/employee aspect.
The writing here was great-as I’ve come to expect from this Author. The pacing flowed very well for me. I was definitely surprised at the way this particular book ended-it was definitely one I didn’t see coming but I really do look forward to seeing how it plays out in book two of this duet.
I enjoyed this title and would recommend it!
4.5 Hearts
The Two Week Arrangement is the first book in the Penthouse Affair Duet By Kendall Ryan. I actually didn’t read the synopsis until a few minutes ago. I love going in blind. I was excited when he mentioned his twin girls. I love a good single dad romance!! Plus a woman who doesn’t put up with the rich CEO’s shit? Icing on the cake!
Two weeks. Presley had two weeks to prove that she deserved to be here. At Aspen Hotels as an intern who could be the next associate executive at the end of the three-month unpaid internship. She was nervous but ready for the challenge. Then she saw him. Dominic Aspen. The twenty-six year old CEO who is tall, dark, and mysterious. She couldn’t stop looking at him and it was announced that he was going to be her mentor? She almost died right there. And when he made a proposal just a few days later…she knew she was in trouble.
Dominic didn’t have time for distractions. He had a company to run and two toddlers to raise. He didn’t date. He has other arrangements. And he needed another one ASAP. He knew Presley was brilliant and beautiful but he had no idea she was exactly who he needed to impress an investor. He only needed two weeks. What he didn’t expect was to like her so much. Not just her body but her everything. The way she didn’t care about his money. His power. She even made him feel like none of that mattered. She made him laugh. Feel his age. And she made him want her more and more everyday.
I can’t really say much more than that. I can say that I loved their banter, flirting, and sexiness. I fell for both Dom and Presley. She is strong, sassy, and smart. Dom is confident, sexy, and such a sweet daddy. Now, I did want to smack Dom a few times. He had his reasons but I still wanted to smack him one. I do still love him though. And I can’t wait for the next book!
Quotes:
“Five minutes of your time tomorrow, then? Unless you can go longer.”
“I can go for as long as you’d like,” I reply smoothly. The tomato color flooding to her cheeks is immediate. I can still tease, right? “Great.” And just like that, she’s off to her desk and I’m alone again.
“Intern, I’m going to enjoy taking my time with you,” he murmurs near my ear, raising goose bumps all the way down my spine.
“That was pretty good. For an intern.”
Dominic is a CEO of a company and a father of two children. He doesn’t have time for relationships but still loves great sex with a beautiful woman. Presley just got an internship doing her dream job and it will help her tremendously if she can turn it into a job. She’s helping her brother get through school. Everything is going great until she meets the CEO and is definitely attracted. Will she act on it or stay professional? Could they enjoy themselves and keep it normal
at work?
Dominic is a sexy CEO with a huge secret. When he needs a date quick and sees his new intern Presley he offers her cash if she joins him. The two begin a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Super sexy romance. Plenty of steam balanced with a great storyline. Presley is trying to help raise her brother. Dominic is a great alpha with a soft spot. Perfectly sets up the next installment.
Another fantastic romance from the uber-talented Kendall Ryan! The Two-Week Arrangement, the first book in her steamy Penthouse Affair Duet, is about sexy, single dad/CEO Dominic and his beautiful, hard-working intern, Presley. Sparks fly and tension rises from the start, capturing red-hot passion and irresistible attraction within its pages.
The author undoubtedly knows romance, and it shows in every book she writes. Dominic and Presley are exceptional characters. Their relationship is flirty, seductive and completely forbidden. And the chemistry shared between them is magnetic – a slow burn of desire that weaves through the story line and cultivates it with feverish need for more. Both characters are strong, intelligent, and 100% devoted to their work and their families. But it’s this unexpected allure towards one another that leaves them both questioning if their connection with each other is worth risking everything for.
This steamy, office romance leaves us on one hell of a cliffhanger and elicits an event stronger desire for the conclusion of Dominic and Presley’s love story with Seven Nights of Sin. I’m sitting on the edge of my seat with anticipation to see what happens next.
What romance reader doesn’t love an office romance?
Add in a single dad to twin girls and my attention is definitely piqued.
And then when Kendall Ryan introduces this romance reader to Dominic Aspen, I’m for sure sold on her latest release, even though I have to wait for the conclusion of his and his sweet and sassy intern’s story until the end of June.
Dominic and Presley have a lot to prove…to themselves, to their family, and to the business world. As the CEO and intern respectively, their goals when it comes to their professional lives are similar, but because he’s the boss and she’s a lowly intern, trying to become a permanent fixture at Aspen Hotels, there’s more than a simple conflict of interest when it comes to their mutual attraction, and with the secrets that they’re both keeping close to the vest, the pressure and their less than upfront personal backstories may prevent anything from happening between them, besides the already established dynamics due to Presley’s internship.
There’s so much more to Dominic Aspen than he shows the people around him, so I’m glad that Ryan provides readers with his perspective as well as Presley’s. I feel like I would have had a much different reaction to what Dominic says and does if I wasn’t allowed inside his head and offered an explanation for everything.
Presley Harper is quite the dynamic character as well – one who does everything in her power for herself and her younger brother. She has a lot of pressure on her shoulders as well as responsibilities, which means that she’ll do what she has to do, even if that means complicating her principals a bit to get things done.
It’s clear that these two are sexually attracted to one another and they seem to have quite the spark between them, but if it’s something that either of them is willing to take a risk on is still unclear and given the fact that neither of them is being completely open and honest with the other, their arrangement may be all they’ll have, but with the title of the next book in the series, Seven Nights of Sin, I’m sure Ryan has more in store for her characters and her readers, and I, for one, can’t wait to see how everything plays out once Dominic and Presley lay themselves bare.
4 Poison Apples
Who is Presley? What about Dominic Aspen? How do they meet? Who are Oliver and Jess? How does Dom know them? I loved and had to chuckle when Dom figured himself out at the end of the chapter. Who are Emilia and Lacey? What do we learn about them? WHo is Roger and why does Dominic pay Presley extra? Who is Austin? What does he ask Presley to do? When Dom sees a folder with a company name on it, what does he think Presley is doing or has done? You have to read this book, but watch out for the cliff hanger at the end! I cannot wait for the next part!!!
RECEIVED THIS BOOK AS A GIFT FOR A FAIR/HONEST REVIEW and REVIEWER FOR Bloggin’ With M. Brennan.
I enjoyed reading The Two Week Arrangement. Dominic and Presley are interesting characters. Dominic is a single dad running a business. Presley is helping pay for her brother’s school. She gets an internship at Dominic’s company. She hoping the internship is a chance to get a big break. They have great chemistry and the sexual tension at some parts is off the charts. I was totally loving this one and towards the end it went a completely different direction that I never saw coming. I felt that Presley acted a little out of character towards the end. I know it’s listed as book one in Penthouse Affair series but I for some reason didn’t think it would end with a cliffy. I can’t wait to read the next one.
I’m always a sucker for workplace romances, but throw in boss/employee and I’m instantly intrigued…
I fell for Dominic quickly. There’s something about an alpha CEO that is irresistible to me. Dominic is powerful, take-charge, and in control. But there’s also points in this story where he isn’t any of those things, and it’s seeing this younger, softer side of him that does you in. He’s sexy, charming, and a delicious mystery waiting to be solved.
Presley is a fantastic person, loyal and loving to a fault. She always puts the needs of others before her own. She’s also so focused on her career that she’s a bit naive and inexperience with someone as dominant and sophisticated as Dominic. She’s sweet, sassy and challenging.
I really enjoyed this story! Cliffhanger haters beware: this is my standard disclaimer. This is book one of a two book series. There’s so much heat and chemistry between these two, and with all the other secrets floating around this story I can’t wait for the conclusion.
I enjoyed The Two-Week Arrangement. The storyline was good. I particularly enjoyed the parts with Lacey and Emilia, they’re adorable and I hope to have even more of them in Seven Nights of Sin. Dominic and Presley are both hardworking, smart, and determined characters, but their lives are very different from one another. They definitely have chemistry with one another, but there are a lot of obstacles in their way. They still have a lot they are going to have to face yet, and I’m curious how that will play out in Seven Nights of Sin.
Oh did Kendall Ryan nail it with this one. There is passion but also something much more deeper to this story. While Dominic could be seen as tough as nails, there is so many layers to him, especially when he is with his girls. Add Presley to the mix, and Dominic is totally thrown off balance. I adore Presley with her sass but also how much drive she has. She wants this job but doesn’t want to jeopardize it with Dominic but she cannot deny her attraction to him. There were some interesting little twists thrown in this story that made you go what just happened and that ending!! NEED MORE! Honestly, I think I have a new fave with this couple. Their banter is priceless and keeps you on your toes as they navigate trying to figure things out between them.
