A sweet, short, tragic love story. Lincoln and Drake was saved by their mentor and he was brutally murdered. They are brought together after one night of passion and Lincoln left because he wasn’t able to talk about his past. The book is seen with both point of views, past and present, forgiveness and misunderstanding. The book had my attention from start to finish and I hope you enjoy as much as did.
I’m reviewing the audio edition of this story. It is a easy story to listen to. Following Guy Veryzer’s narration really brought it to life. I enjoyed what is there of the story. I think it is maybe too short. Too much got crunched together and a few questions were left unanswered but I don’t see where this is the part of a series. I think the author does a real good job at people and place descriptions. I think the storyline is good I just felt it was too much in too little time allotted.

Drake and Lincoln had history, yet their one secret kept them apart until the death of their mentor. Now years later, the two must come together not for the benefit of the company that had been left in their charge, but also for the trial that was taking place.
This short story was both emotional and telling. Both from broken homes, the men found solace in each other, even though Lincoln claimed to be straight. Through time, they both discovered things about themselves and now they had to confront that night or forever hang in limbo. Will Drake be able to forgive the man he’d given his heart to? Will Lincoln be able to step up to the plate and give Drake what he desires?

This is a short and sweet second chance M/M love story. Drake and Linc have a fleeting past it was one night but just that one night changed both their lives. Now 1.5 years later they are struggling to figure out their new future together as business partners and more. I really enjoyed this short love story but it left me wanting more.
Drake and Lincoln were brought together by their mentor Nelson, but due to miscommunication they parted ways. Now years later the death of Nelson brings them back together and has them questioning the decisions they had made years ago.
This novel is full of raw emotion and hurt. The author dives into the background of her characters and creates these very real and true people that have much depth to them. This was a short and sweet MM romance and I recommend giving it a try!

This truly is one fantastic story that shows many sides of humanity especially the good and more importantly the bad.
Nelson Bradshaw offered help to anyone who was willing to take a chance on a stranger and both Drake and Lincoln’s lives were better because of him.
Sitting in court day after day to finally receive the verdict they’d been waiting for only to be stunned by and unexpected end no one ever imagine.
But now will they continue to just coexist or would one of them finally admit there’s more to them than simply meets the eye and hopefully gain everything they ever wanted or will it end in disaster.

The Truth Will Set You Free is a beautifully written short story about Drake and Lincoln. Though Lincoln is 8 years older than Drake they both had similar experiences with living on the street and being saved and helped by Nelson. When tragedy brings them back together they must face the truth about what they want and hold on tight to it. I love how Lincoln never let go of his feelings for Drake and he was finally strong enough to be honest with himself and with Drake. They both deserve a happy ending together.

Tragic concept, good story! Drake, sitting in a courtroom awaiting the verdict of Jeffrey Shipman who beat Nelson with a baseball bat. It was considered a premeditated hate crime. Nelson, rescued teens who were thrown away by families and society. Drake was left half of Nelson’s company, Orrike Advertising. Lincoln, 8 years older was left the other half. Drake met Nelson when he was 17 after being thrown out of his house at 16 for being gay. Nelson gave him the choice to leave the streets and provided the opportunity for food, shelter and continued education. Drake took it. Drake and Lincoln had a one nighter that didn’t end well. A year and a half later, they were meeting at the trial. Tragedy ensues and they finally talk. Can they clear the air? Can they work together? Good story. Would have made and excellent novel! Drake and Lincoln….Wow! I really enjoyed this book. These two are connected in more ways than one which, in my option, makes there chemistry and connection that more intense. These two finally get a second chance. Drake has always loved Lincoln but with Lincoln’s past haunting him, he was unable to fully give himself Drake. I thought that is was a touching short MM story. I read this book in one sitting and I would highly recommend to book to any one!

Nelson would see people that that needed help and he has helped a lot of people but was killed by one he was helping. But the killer got taken care of. Lincoln had a very rough life before Nelson and he helped Drake also. They had a one night stand but Lincoln ran and then got help with his issues. He had to let Drake know everything before they could go on with their Ives! New author, if you like Liam Kingsley you will love this book.
