I guess I just forgot. To ask him what he did for a living, I mean.By the time I did, I was in—balls deep, as he’d say.He was the perfect boyfriend.Attentive, gorgeous, guessing my every wish and fulfilling them. The sex was earth-shattering.He even dealt with my crazy mom the way no one else could. He popped the question, God, such a perfect guy. There was just one issue:He fucked other girls on … issue:
He fucked other girls on camera for a living.
How the hell do you deal with that?

Could you love a porn star? Find your HEA with one
I loved the journey Ciro & Savannah go on to find their HEA. She’s a girl wanting to maintain status quo and he’s a hurricaine buffetting her from all sides. He’s sexy, persistant, determined, caring, and passionate. She’s sweet, caring, a little more traditional than him, and swept up in confusion over how she should feel. A good read.
This is another hit from the lovely Sunniva . Really how could you go wrong with a title like this?
Savannah and Ciro an unlikely couple.
Savannah is a gal working hard to keep her head above water . She has several jobs and many roommates. The coffee shop gig is great she has the opportunity to see all of the beautiful and handsome people of CA . Everyone is striving to be that next big break! Although the moment she sets her eyes on Ciro she certainly can say he may be the most striking man she has ever seen.
Ciro has a odd shall we say job. He works in the adult film industry and yes he meets many women but he wants to find true love. He doesn’t think that it is in the cards for him until he sees the lovely Savannah. He takes a chance and does what any normal man would do…..ask her out.
Savannah decides to give it a whirl with Ciro but something is just off and she cant put her finger on it! They skirt around what he does for a living and then they just continue to get to know each other. This book was sexy , sweet and so unexpected ! Loved Savannah and Ciro !
When the truth finally comes out can love win them over in the end???

This book was my first experience with Ms. Sunniva Dee’s writing and I can say I loved every minute. I liked the writing style very much, it was a breath of fresh air.
Both Savannah and Ciro were very likeable characters. They were both so full of love to give.
Ciro gained the ultimate book-boyfriend status with me. He gave everything he got even though he had far too many disappointing experiences in the relationship department already.
He needed his patience and persistence to woo Savannah.
Savannah wasn’t and never wanted to be an easy lay, another notch on someone’s belt. She guarded her heart afraid to give it away. But Ciro worked himself in and crumbled her walls.
This couple was meant to be.
But Savannah founds herself in an inconceivable situation when she learns what Ciro does for a living so everything goes sideways all of a sudden. I liked how Savannah wanted to find out if she was able to live with this whole situation for herself. She realised pretty quickly to listen to only her own feelings and don’t let her judgement be clouded by well-wisher bystanders.
I loved the epilogue and how everything turned out at the end.
I loved this book .Althouth I wanted to dive in and slap the characters at times especially Ciro although he finally got it right in the end.
I cant say this is my favourite Sunniva book, but I still enjoyed it.
Ciro seems the perfect boyfriend, wants to get straight into an exclusive relationship, wines, dines and treats Savannah like a precious gift. he is attentive and interested. He can even understand her issues with her mother. Sounds like a dream. possibly too good to be true? it is!
Savannah comes across as a little naïve, working various jobs she moved to help support her mother. She has an innocence about her – possibly this is what attracts Ciro in the first place.
This book did make me question what I would do in this situation, but I cant say I honestly felt a strong connection with either of the main characters.
I liked the storyline surrounding Savannah’s mother, I found that, and Ciro’s way of dealing with it very interesting.
LOVED IT!!! I have to say, the title drew me in right away. I admit, I was curious about having a porn star boyfriend. This story surprised me. I found myself rooting for Ciro. He and Savannah have such great chemistry together. I get why she’s apprehensive. I would be too. But after learning Ciro’s story. Knowing the life he led before he met her and seeing how much he loves her, you can’t help but want these two together. But can a porn star really separate his work from his home life? Can Savannah put her reservations behind her and love him for who he is? Or is Ciro’s career just to much for her? This was a fun read. I really enjoyed Sunniva’s take on what it might be like to have a porn star boyfriend. This story is believable and well written. I loved it.
This was a very interesting story about Ciro, a porn star, who falls in love with Savannah. He does not tell her that he is in porn. He wanted to develop their relationship before she found out what he does for a living. It would take a really strong woman to be able to stay with a man that has sex on camera with other people. Ciro is absolutely the sweetest boyfriend. Its a pretty funny story. There are some serious moments when he gets to show how supportive he can be. He most definitely gets an “A” for effort!
Ciro and Savannah are an unlikely pair. Ciro is a porn star and Savannah is a college student working as a waitress. This story pulled me right in and wouldn’t let go until the end. A lovely romance about choices and the way life takes twists and turns.
OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so I get that the title may have you forming certain preconceived notions about this book.
But let me tell you.
This book was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Sunniva knocked it outta the park. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh!!! I’m still smiling from it, and I stopped reading like an hour ago.
Such a wonderful, low-stress, emotional-at-times contemporary romance…the story itself is like a modern-day fairy tale. I couldn’t out it down! I blew through it in 2 sittings.
Oh, and Ciro is totally perfect. Sweet, sexy, compassionate, persistent. loyal…I might be in love with a figment of Sunniva’s imagination. Lol!
And Savannah was just awkward enough to be realistic and extremely likable.
Throw in a cast of minor characters that added so much to the book in their own ways, and this is one of those books I will be reading again!
This book… seriously. First off the title intrigued me. Then I read the blurb and was even more intrigued. When I finally opened it? I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to know what was gonna happen between Ciro and Savannah and I didn’t want to wait! Savannah was back and forth. Normally that would have irritated me, but in this book I SO understood her hesitation. I understood her fears, moral beliefs, heart-felt feelings; I understood her. Ciro was interesting, he was unique. He knew what he wanted and wasn’t afraid to go after it until he got it. He was also irritating at times. He understood his world and the way he did things. He understood how he handled things to the point that he didn’t realize what he was doing until AFTER he had hurt Savannah. He is every woman’s wet dream, every woman’s dream man, he is perfect in his own unique ways. But because of his confidence and his understanding point of view he is also able to bring out every female insecurity without even trying. My heart was torn so much in this book but I just couldn’t stop reading. The secondary character’s were amazing as well. They really helped not only bond Ciro and Savannah (especially when it came to Ana and Savannah’s mom) but the love and devotion they had for Savannah in her times of need were just perfectly written. I’ve only read a few books by this author but each book seems to get better and better. This book is by far my favorite from Sunniva Dee. I’m now looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Thanks for the preview
Okay, I will be honest here, this writer is new to me and the reason why I decided to read this book was because I was intrigued by the title and the blurb. I just had to read this book and I’m very glad that I did because I really enjoyed it and it’s always nice to discover a new writer whose book you enjoy.
So yes, it is a book about a girl who falls in love with a guy who acts in adult movies but this story is also something more. The story also made me think about things, like the fact what would I do when I was in Savannah’s shoes? Love isn’t always easy but sometimes it challenges you in ways that you less expect it. For example, falling in love with someone who act in adult movies! What would you do? Most would say ‘dismiss him’ but what if he was the only guy that ever made you feel alive, treasured and loved. Would you still give up on love then?
Normally, I don’t like cheating in my books but I’m always intrigued by this genre of books (about porn actors) because is it cheating when it’s your work? Is it cheating when your heart is not involved? That’s the big question here and the writer didn’t go out the way to question it.
The story is told from Savannah’s POV. I really liked Savannah, she didn’t have big ambitions, she just lived her life from day to day. When she was nervous she just told it all, I enjoy that. Ciro is something else, there were times that I though just leave him! And then he would do something and I though don’t leave him. I can totally understand that Savannah couldn’t let him go.
‘The truth about porn star boyfriends’ had a little bit of everything in it and I really enjoyed it. I will certainly try another book of Sunniva Dee.
