This story is a sweet, tender romance not only between Hannah and Carter but, Hannah and Carter’s 6-year old daughter Addilynn. Carter loves his daughter and needs a nanny to help care for her instead of his overprotective, over controlling mother. Addilynn isn’t a little girl. She is her grandmother’s “high class, sophisticated, snobby ” mini-me. With Hannah on the scene with her free spirit, good nature and a zest for life, Addilynn soars into being the child that she should be. Their relationship is pure and touching and doesn’t go unnoticed by Carter. He is even more inclined to spend time with Hannah and Addilynn than worry about getting his new resort up and running. It isn’t until Hannah’s secret becomes so heavy that everyone happiness is in jeopardy.
This is truly beautiful, well written romance that I highly recommend.
Sweet, clean, romance with a little kissing sizzle and sassy banter. Hannah is secretly Carter’s nemesis, but after spending time as a nanny for Carter’s daughter, Hannah begins to wonder if her secret will cost her the cherished relationship she’s dreamed of having. Addilynn, Carter’s daughter is a cutie, but beware the big, bad, grandmother! This billionaire series would make a good Hallmark movie series.
Clean, funny, well written story with extremely well drawn characters. Carter’s controlling mother makes a great villain. Thank goodness Hannah was able to help Addi bloom. This story sucked me in from page one and I could not put it down. I enjoyed every page and was sorry when it ended.
I love this book. The characters are marvelous and the setting is beautiful. The author did a wonderful job of creating realistic characters and a beautiful setting. The writing is excellent and fun! If you want a great romance that is truly fun to read – then get this book. My only warning is that you shouldn’t start it late in the day because you will not want to put it down! I lost a good nights sleep because of this book – but it was worth it!
There’s something to be said about a well-written billionaire romance. This one ticks all the boxes: great characters, emotional plot twists, and unbelievably believable scenarios. I really enjoyed this book, and found myself willing it not to end.
The Trust of a Billionaire is a lovely, sweet story about love, trust and honesty. Hannah is a breath of fresh air, Addi is adorable and Carter has more than one problem. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it to all romance and HEA fans. It is the perfect summer romance.t
The Trust of a Billionaire by Michelle Pennington
My rating is 4.5 Stars
Sure, it is a little formulaic. The billionaire and the nanny to his daughter. But who said formula is wrong?
The Trust of a Billionaire is a surprisingly touching story of a young man who had been used by the woman he had married and then dumped. Moreover, it is the story of a young woman, desperately clinging to the house that represents a happy childhood with her parents who are now dead. And it is the story of a young girl who has never known the love of a mother and a grandmother who has never allowed her to be a child.
This book is well-written and enjoyable with a romance that is sweet and believable. And it even has a meddling mother who is convinced that she knows what is good for her son more than he does.

I would like to thank Destined for Love for giving me this copy of the book. This gift did not influence my opinion or review.
Destined For Love: Resorts – Having read the two other Destined For Love series: Europe and Mansions, I had to read this series, too. All the books from the Destined authors are well written, with interesting characters and realistic dialog, and intriguing storylines. The books are clean and don’t have the annoying Stupid formula. (Characters act immature, don’t communicate their feelings and problems while having sex all the time they’re together: the Stupid formula.) These authors show that the plots can have suspense and intrigue without the stupidity.
Michelle Pennington, The Trust of a Billionaire (#1) – What a fun story! I fell in love with Hannah. She’s one of the most interesting, fun, laid back but mature character I’ve discovered in a while. This is my first story by this author and I love it! The other four main characters were also interesting and fun, and two were very supportive and loving. It was heartwarming to see the effects of love on the three main characters. 5*
Anne-Marie Meyer, Marrying an Athlete (#2 in both Resorts and Fake Marriage Series) – This is my first book by this author and I was happy with it. A quickly read, interesting little romance coming to full bloom between two people who are childhood and adult friends. All the characters are interesting, realistic and mature in their actions. But I did think it was strange that the friends didn’t unpack; the stay is a week. I contacted the Destined For Love group to review their books. 4*
Victorine El Lieske, Her Big Fat Dreamy Billionaire Ex (#3) – This is my first read by Ms. Lieske and I liked it. My favorite character is Grams and she’s the heart of the story. The well thought out storyline twists and turns, teasing the reader with the sexual tension between the two main character, whom are very likable and realistic with their actions and dialog. No Stupid formula used in this book. Although I don’t care for mil-/billionaire stories, I enjoyed this one immensely. I contacted the Destined For Love group to review all the DFL book, when they let me. 5*
Oh, my, this was great fun! All the necessary ingredients for a true HEA romance and a wonderful setting. Delightful characters, sizzling (but clean!) chemistry, a lovely, lonely little girl, and a controlling grandmother–plus all the money of fairy tales (um, billionaire? duh!).
