Mythology expert Caroline Capello agreed to marry Loki, the Norse god of fire and lies. She didn’t realize the most dangerous part of their marriage might be the honeymoon…
Honeymoon is a yummy hot slice of Loki and Caroline’s story. It’s the perfect highlight of Loki being Loki and highlights Caroline’s strength. It was a fun look into their relationship, and how nothing is what it seems when it comes to Loki. It showcases Samantha MacLeod’s amazing world building skills. It’s a must read if you fell in love with Loki and Caroline in The Trickster’s Lover and the perfect way to get ready for the next installment of MacLeod’s Loki series.

Short but interesting 4 ½ stars – It is a very short story about Loki and Caroline. This took place prior to their human wedding and is really more of an adventure honeymoon. As I’ve said, it is interesting and very steamy, if your mind is open. [I received a review copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]

The Loke Series Box Set: is amazing. I quote directly from the book:
“Welcome, reader. You’ve picked up a box set containing three novels (The Trickster’s Lover, The Wolf’s Lover, and The Trickster’s Song), three short stories (Claiming Thor’s Hammer, Winning Freyja’s Cloak, and The Trickster), and a novella (The Trickster’s Honeymoon). While the works are arranged in roughly chronological order — with the exception of Thor’s Hammer and Freyja’s Cloak — the stories themselves span centuries, and they tell of the relationships between the Norse god Loki and his various friends, enemies, lovers, and children. Please be warned that this series is ongoing, and it does not end within the confines of this box set. The next novel in The Loki Series, The Trickster’s Wife, will hopefully be released in the fall of 2019.”
I concentrated on the Loki books: The Trickster (prequel), The Trickster’s Lover, The Trickster’s Honeymoon, The Wolf’s Lover (about Loki’s son), The Trickster’s Song. I have read other books about Loki, but in this series, I could not help but fall in love the him. Yes, he is a troublemaker, but there is a method to his madness that others do not see or know about. He is more noble than people give him credit for. He is also more sensitive, has deep feelings and knows how to love even if that love is not returned. He is not given the respect he deserves and is treated like he has no feelings. He has witness more tragedy than any one being ought to. He has lived to learn from his mistakes. Deep inside his soul is a gentle person trying to get out and be loved for who he is and not who he pretends to be. Caroline is insecure. She has been fascinated by mythology since she was a small child. She grows up, goes to college and pursues the study of Mythology. When Loki appears in her life, it will never be the same. She is drawn into intrigue, adventure, danger and romance. This is a must read and I highly recommend this series. I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This short story is a rollicking adventure full of intrigue, mystery, lies (of course) and sex. Oh my goodness, what an imagination this author has!
It is a very easy to read book that kept me glued to the pages and enthralled with all that was going on. So much crammed into a short story, yet it was really well done.
I am really happy to highly recommend it as an unusual and extremely enjoyable and very entertaining read. I would however suggest the reading of the first book in this series, The Tricksters Lover before to get more background information, though this second one could quite easily be read as a stand-alone.
I voluntarily read a free ebook which I received from the author and this is my honest and unbiased review.
