“An epic emotional roller-coaster with brilliant world-building and one of
the hottest, most swoon-worthy, heroes I’ve ever encountered.”

How many times do you gamble on love? When love has knocked you down, should you give it another chance? When does optimism become stupidity?
And what happens when the man you’re in love … happens when the man you’re in love with is never still, always moving, always traveling? Do you say goodbye, or do you leave behind everything that you’ve worked for, everything that you’ve ever known? Can a traveling carnival be my home?
Oh. You thought I had the answers. No, sorry. No answers, just a lot of questions—and a heart that wants to rule my head.
Can one person be my home?

The conclusion of Kestrel and Aimee’s story, begun in ‘The Traveling Man’

Just like with the first book, The Traveling Man, I did not want this story to end. You cannot help but fall in love with the characters and be hooked by the storyline. This series has been worth the loss of sleep. I loved it so much that I’m going to continue on with the other two. Fantastic work! I highly recommend you give The Traveling series a chance. You will not be disappointed.
Once I finished The Travelling Man (book 1) I started right away book 2. I can’t get enough of Kes and Aimee. It is quite refreshing to read about a book hero that isn’t a playboy millionaire with money to burn. I also love Aimee who is strong, a fighter and also vulnerable at times. Amidst all the difficult times I admire Aimee’s dedication and tenacity to Kes. I can’t really go into all the details without spoiling it for others. All I can say is this series is now one of my top reads of 2015. Highly recommended!
Wow… that doesn’t even come close to it for this book. I was able to review The Traveling Man earlier this year while the blog was still Suzanne’s Book Obsessions and I fell in love with Kes the first few words about him. This book just solidifies how much I love that man. Once again, this one is out of the ball park! The weaving of the story that Jane wrote is beyond magical. The trials that Aimee and Kes go through together broke my heart, had me crying, made me angry, made me laugh… this book.. this series.. has it all.
This book is written in just the same manner as the first in the series. Magical. Beautiful. Show stopping. Heart pumping. Aimee is such a strong female character you love her so much. And Kes, for all his stubbornness, its utterly captivating. No spoilers but HOLY CRAP I almost freaked at one part!!! I was literally crying!! Cannot wait to see more from Jane.
And PS… the bonus chapter.. EPIC!!
I haven’t loved and yet hated a character so much since Damian Cabellero in Leylah Attar’s The Paper Swan. Kestrel Donohue had my heart in such an uproar. He really needs to see someone about his angers issues and violent tendancies. I’m giving him a pass because of that whole fictional character thing. Plus, his upbringing was beyond unusual and never really had true love in his life, except for Aimee.
God, how he acted sometimes, punching walls and throwing things. But then he’s all amazed by a wrapped birthday present, because he had never received one before. Oh the tears.
I wanted to walk away a couple of times, but I coudn’t bring myself to do that to Kes. Much like Aimee, I was in it until the end.
OMG! I just love Aimee’s and Kes’s story!! After ending ‘The traveling man’ that ended with a cliffhanger, I immediately started reading book 2 ‘The traveling woman’, wherein the story of this wonderful couple continued. (For people who haven’t read The traveling man you really have to read that book first before reading this one!)
Book one ‘The traveling man’ ended with Aimee leaving Kes and his traveling way of living. Aimee loves Kes very much but she has work too hard to become a teacher, so she chose for her job and for safety. But was it really the right decision? Because one thing is for sure, when a few weeks has passed, Aimee still misses Kes very much and although school has started again, it doesn’t give her the happiness that she expected. Has she really made the right decision?
I really enjoyed and loved this story and the fact that it existed out of two books really made me a happy woman. Because one book would have never been enough for me. Aimee and Kes were a wonderful couple. Kes is like a wild animal, he needs his freedom and he can be really wild at times but when he loves you, it’s fierce and very special. The side characters made me laugh and I love their loyalty and friendship with Kes and Aimee. These two books were the first two books that I read from Jane Harvey-Berrick but I will definitely read more books of this writer. I’m looking forward to it.
Great read. Set of 3 books. I had to have them all.
