Disappointing
You can’t change a few names and places and label a book as Sci-fi. There is nothing about this book that says, sci-fi. It’s more of a soap opera saga about a group of people that could be happening anywhere. I am so disappointed in this long drug out meaningless book where nothing happens for thousands and thousands of words.
DNF at 40% when I finally realized this book was going nowhere, slowly. This book would be bad no matter what genre it was supposed to be.
I give very few poor reviews, but this one deserves it.

Wow what a read that will have you hooked all the way throughout this read as it will grab you from the very beginning to the very ending and you will want to read this in one sitting.
I did not read the first part “The Traitor’s Touch” but I was able to follow this story. This story had internal depth of the characters, hidden agendas and twist and turns which drove me to turn the pages. Commander Tal finds his wife living in a cabin with Biddou. She believes Biddou is her husband. When Tal tells her “he’s her husband” and it is not Biddou she does not believe him though she finds herself attracted to him. Tal makes a deal with Kira to pretend to be his wife, hoping it will bring back her memories of their marriage. Will Kira remember, will they catch who was behind the kidnapping? I volunteer to read and review this ARC via Booksprout.
Truthfully I never thought of reading this genre but when I read this one it blown my mind!! I have read all shifter books of Julie K Cohen and I know what am incredible author she is but she has far outdone herself with this one! Passion, reconnection, family secrets, mystery, schemes, murder mysteries unfold in the end. A mind blowing book! In a good sense lol!!

This was such a thrilling book! I could not put this book down once I started reading it. It has such intrigue and plot twists that you just want to keep reading until the end and even then you want to read more! The characters are both strong and vulnerable and have you cheering them on hoping that they overcome all the obstacles and have their HEA. This book left me laughing and crying and I can’t wait to read more!

Oh my, l don’t know where to begin. This book took me through the whole gambit of emotions, l feel quite drained. Anger, fear, love, reunions, humour, betrayals, it had it all. I just love Tal, Kira, Driss and Rionna. There is even a twist at the end. Tal is such a strong hero and with such a character you need to balance that with a strong heroine like Kira, the pair of them are perfect. I just couldn’t stop reading this book. It’s fabulous.
I must admit, that l did download and read the first book before this one, which, incidentally is also fabulous.
Hopefully, they’ll be more books in this series. Julie is such a great story teller.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is about a woman that was taken from her husband by a badman Biddou that keep her in one place to control her for two months. Kaegen has been looking for her for that long. Now would be the time to get the book to find out what happens to them. I will be buying more from this author. Thank You for writing the story’s so we can read them.
This well written storyline was such an intriguing read with great characters that I was glued to my kindle from the very first page! The twists and turns kept me so engaged that I couldn’t put this book down until I finished reading the very last page!
Kira will have to go through a lot of heartache and pain to get her life back. Kira was kidnapped, drugged, and mentally and physically abused for two months. Her husband, Tal didn’t know where she was. She supposedly left a message she was leaving, but why would she leave him. They loved each other. When he finally finds her, she has no memory of him or their life. He brings her home and over time she starts having feelings for him, but others tell her things about him that make her think he is violent. She runs away. But they still don’t know who was behind her kidnapping. How will she stay safe? Tal is afraid. She is missing again. But someone helps her. Someone who has a past with Tal. This story had lots of intrigue, heartache, redemption, and love. I received a free copy of this book from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
