He sold his soul to the devil, now he’s a traitor seeking redemption… he wants is to live a normal life in his new mountain hideaway and redeem himself from past mistakes.
But life has a way of sending you back into hell when you least expect it…
Then he sees Josie Baird, the most mysterious and beautiful woman he had ever laid eyes on. Things change though when a friend from his past arrives in town. His protective instincts are out in force and there is no way he can keep his distance from Josie now, even if it means being drawn into an unlikely threesome that will break all the rules he set for himself in his new life.
Will Knox let his regrets swallow him whole or will he dare to dream for something more, something unexpected, something a traitor doesn’t deserve?

The Traitor (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 2) by India Kells is a five star novel. I could not put this book down! I loved reading the story of Spencer and Josie. Spencer thinks he is a bad boy and doesn’t deserve anything real because that is how he grew up. Little does he know, he is going to meet someone who could care less about this. He thinks he needs to stay away from her because his past problems are too much to bear, but he will soon learn that the connection between them is too strong and he won’t be able to stay away.
The characters in this story are just that, characters. They are funny, sweet, determined and super sexy together! Spencer Knox grew up a dangerous street rat, someone who would do anything for a safe place to sleep without a knife in the gut. Spencer decides he needs to get off of the street and change his ways. He moves to the isolated town of Landston to start over. No one knows him here and that’s the way he likes it. Josie Baird is also starting over without her crappy husband who is refusing a divorce until she finishes paying him that is. She is running herself to the bone, while trying to get that divorce. She is so determined and strong. Gage is Spencer’s friend from the streets. He’s looking for a break from the crime and hate filled city life. When these three meet there is an explosion of feelings but only one is willing to do anything about it until they are thrown together in work and play!
Of course with a title like, The Traitor, one wonders who that could be. There are secrets to be revealed but do secrets make you a traitor? Does choosing the lesser of two evils make you a traitor? Does having feelings for more than one person make you a traitor?
I love the way Kells writes. This story is interesting, page turning and even jaw dropping. The characters feel like real people, not too perfect, not too sexy, just right. The adventure these three take together could really happen but the style of writing helps this reader escape my real world. Highly recommend this story.
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Josie had a bad marriage, she gave up on love. Spencer has a dark past and has always said that he can give his body away but not his heart. Gage and Spencer are best friend and they both have a past. Gage and Spencer think Josie is the most beautiful woman they had ever seen.
Thank you for allowing me to review this book it was great.

The Traitor (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 2) by India Kells was a great 5 star read.
Knox has bought a mechanic shop in a small town away from everything. Josie is a woman that Knox has seen several times and can’t get her off his mind. Josie is trying to stay to herself and working to get herself away from her soon to be ex and his debts. When she is approached by her friend Georgia to cover her job while she goes away for a few weeks she jumps at the opportunity to make more money. Knox is surprised to see Josie working in his shop office, but pleasantly surprised.
When Knox’s friend Gage shows up and offers to work in his shop things get even more interesting. As time moves forward Knox continues to battle with his attraction to Josie.
He kept repeating to himself that she was too young and he was too damaged even as he turned her chair so she faced him fully and his mouth descended to hers.
Knox was great, he was very concerned for Josie and wanted to take care of her before she ran herself ragged. Josie ends up living with Knox and Gage, yum. Josie struggles with self esteem issues due to her ex, so the Gage and Knox decided to show her just how beautiful she is. And lets just say hold on to your seats, we get some very hot and heavy scenes that will melt your kindle. Overall I really enjoyed the storyline and all of the characters involved. If you’re looking for a great hot and steamy read, 1-click and get started today.
If you have any experience with Kells you anticipate that this will be another smoking hot, chemistry filled, intense page-turner. And you would be right. The characters jump off the page and the detail is fantastic. Although part of a series this book can stand on its own without the reader feeling behind in the narrative. Extremely well written and well paced between the drama and romance. Kells is a must read and only continues to reinforce this opinion with every book I read.
Knox, needing a break from the life he’s know, escapes to the small town of Landston. Enters Josie Baird. A woman who is struggling in some of the worst possible ways due to a horrible previous relationship. Knox has no intention of pursuing his attraction to Josie, but when circumstances force them in close proximity, the sexual tension cannot be denied. Josie is incredibly strong-willed, resilient, and faithful and any woman less than that would be unable to handle Knox, who is also stubborn, but doesn’t see himself as worthy of Josie. Although their road is hard, their HEA is so worth it it. I definitely recommend The Traitor!
The Traitor (An Underground Bad Boys Romance Book 2) by India Kells
5 Stars!!!!!
I am absolutely without words this book was such a great read. I have read this author before and I was not disappointed. I really was hooked from the first page. I really find that this author has such a refreshing style. The characters really jump up off of the page and straight into my imagination. I felt as though I was Josie.
I really like how the author creates the drama around the characters. Josie and Spencer just have such a spark and the little added bonus of Gage well that was just the right amount of spice. I also like how just a bit of the past comes into play. The author really draws in the reader and I will definitely be reading more from this author as well as hopefully this series.
I loved this book just as much if not more than the first book. It is a steamy, hot story that I read in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down. The characters made the story feel real and made me want more. Spenser just wants to have a normal life but then he meets Josie. He is not good for her so he stays away but what will happen when fate throws them together? As past comes to battle past is there a HEA for these two? They have great chemistry, well developed, I loved them. A must read!
OMG! The book caught my attention and never let go. The main characters are so well written that you actually care about them as if they’re close friends.

This was a hot little read. I enjoyed the hot scenes the most. Would have preferred a different ending, but it was still an HEA.
Spencer is hiding away from The demons in his past, But when he sees Josie, a beautiful strong woman, his thoughts are lustful. He can’t have her, she’s too young. One day his past comes to the present. his friend Gabe comes for a visit. Josie is attracted to him and also to Spencer. It’s an unlikely threesome that has Spencer reeling. He’s falling for her and doesn’t want to share. But why would she want an older man with his troubled past? This story is sexy, steamy, and has a lot of depth to the characters.
Dan Price was wonderful telling this story! Giving each character their own voice and personality.

The Traitor
An Underground Bad Boys Romance, Book 2
By: India Kells
Narrated by: Dan Price
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it is well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. The characters are realistic, easy to relate and connect with. Spencer Knox is starting over in a new town, he owns a mechanic shop and lives a low key life, trying to do the right thing for others. Josie Baird is trying to get her life in order, her ex-husband is threatening her and she is paying off his debt by working several jobs. She caught Knox’s eye from a distance, then circumstances bring them closer together and when he learns her situation his alpha protective side comes out. Gage, a friend from his past, is working and living with him and things start to heat up between the three of them. But Spencer can not handle the feelings or what they may bring out of him, so he runs back to his old life. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story contains a lot of heart and is nicely plotted with plenty of drama, angst, some thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. India Kells, thank you for this terrific story and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the audible edition, Dan Price is a terrific narrator and voice artist. He brings the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. He did a great job portraying each character, capturing their emotions, as well as their passion which can be heard in his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen

This was my first India Kells’s book. This the second book in the Underground Bad Boys Series. The characters are intriguing, and their chemistry is sizzling. Knox and Josie’s MMF short romance is hot, and fast-paced, filled with a little suspense, and drama. Josie is strong, and determined. Knox is alpha, and protective, but he has some issues. Gage, Knox’s friend, is intriguing. I like the ending. Dan Price did a great job with the narration. #AudiobookObsession

India Kells is new to me, but she will be added to my listen list now! This book is short, steamy and so much passion! Josie has come to town, trying to make a new start. She needs to work to pay off the debts of her abusive husband so she can get divorced. Knox takes a protective liking to her, and now she finds her attraction to him palpable. But he has demons that keep him from getting involved with her. When his good friend Gabe comes into the picture, the three begin somewhat of a relationship. But is this what all three really want? Is it sustainable? Who does Josie want to be with? And what will happen to the odd man out? Fantastic characters and a good plot mold this listen. Josie is strong, confident and willing to do what it takes to be happy. Knox is a little broody, closed off and still has that alpha protectiveness. The steam factor is high, the feelings real and it’s a fun listen.
Dan Price is a new narrator to me. I enjoyed his voices, easily distinguishing between characters and he has a good pace. He adds a lot to the narration with subtle nuances and lets us feel the passion.
