The ENTIRE four book Trackers series in one boxset: Over 1300 Five Star Amazon Reviews and 1500 pages of post-apocalyptic survival fiction and action. Ripped from the headlines, the explosive Trackers saga is a realistic depiction of what an EMP attack and the aftermath might look like from one of the genre’s leading voices, USA Today bestselling author and former Homeland Security Disaster … former Homeland Security Disaster Mitigation Officer, Nicholas Sansbury Smith (Extinction Cycle, Hell Divers, Orbs).
The end of the world is just the beginning of the hunt …
Five days ago North Korea detonated three strategically placed nuclear warheads over the United States, triggering an electromagnetic pulse that crippled the country. A second attack destroyed the nerve center of America in a nuclear blast that flattened the nation’s capital. As the government falls apart in the aftermath, the survivors must decide how far they will go to save the ones they love.
In this lawless new world where the most ruthless thrive while innocents suffer; a sheriff, a retired marine, a nurse, and a senator turned secretary of defense are faced with keeping their communities and families safe. One thing is certain–they won’t be able to save everyone. Not with their humanity still intact.

Could not put this series of books down! A
fantastic thrill ride full of characters you love and those you love to hate! I am not going to detail the plot here, as the publisher’s releases cover that. The military action is well written and believable. The author has obviously spent a great deal of effort in researching his subject, and has left this reader quite winded after completing the series. I feel like I have run every step alongside the courageous men and women of Estes Park. Thank You, Mr. Smith for a great read!
Most dystopian novels start after the event when the world is already destroyed and nearly barbaric. Smith gives readers a fresh take on things by starting with the incident that sets the world back. When an EMP strike is launched on the US, it is up to a few brave soldiers and politicians to bring the world back.
The Tracker has almost super-powers as a former Marine and native American he uses his knowledge and training to help others. His personal growth throughout the series shows a troubled young man who returns from war scarred and angry, but he grows to be a leader and a man of honor.
I don’t usually read these types of books. What I mean is I read post apocalyptic but usually with some romance scattered within. This book had no romance, no steam but it had an enormous amount of suspense action and just an unbelievably good story. It did keep me on my toes. it made me want to listen to the next section. It also made me cry. And unfortunately it also made me think what would happen if something like this did happen today. It was thought-provoking scary and just played a great read.
The author did a Fabulous job of portraying what very well Could happen in the foreseeable future in the USA. This story is based in Estes Park, Colo and the entire United States!! Some reviewers did not like the graphic action scenes, They obviously Never been in a War Zone. The Author stuck to a Realistic account of what various weapon and ammo actually do in War.
I believe that this is a good Fiction that can and possibly will be a Reality.
Had you rooting out loud for Raven & company, the description of the evil in the world was incredible yet here we are a page Turner wanted to see what happens next great read gets one emotional from time to time
About the first weeks after multiple EMP attacks on the U.S. that destroy the electrical grid and render useless most things that are based on computers and electronics (which is just about every modern convenience). Mainly about the struggle to survive for the people of Estes Park, CO. It’s an easy read.
Plot made me think about what could happen in the future
This was thought-provoking . It dealt with an EMP attack on the USA and the aftermath. It seemed all-too-real . The story rushed from one scenario to the next at beak-neck pace.
One of those series that needs a sequel
I did not enjoy this book. It just went on and on with the same stuff over and over. I usually enjoy morning after books but this one turned me off. You might like it. Read other reviews and make up your own mind.
I like the way the characters come together, good guys and bad guys, however I was a little disappointed that no one seemed to learn from their mistakes.
This series is one of the most entertaining, believable series I have read. It has great characters and fast paced action. Once you’ve read the first book you can’t wait to start the next one.
Not sure why this wasn’t a page turner. Perhaps too many characters stories told in the first person? Emotional details missing? Unsurvivable injuries being survivable too often? On the positive side, there was good information on the likely short and long term consequences of a massive loss of power in our country. Some good details about what to expect. Definitely too much worship of cigarettes, too much pretending that a hero can be both physically fit AND a smoker. Take it from me a college scholarship long distance runner–there are no endurance athletes who smoke–none–not a single one. Also a bit too much love shown by author for nutsies and their guns. Still I read all four books. Although I twice stopped and read another book before finishing.
The last book has a somewhat unsatisfying end. It ends but…
Very well written. Thought provoking. Really hard to put down.
Hard to put down. Makes you really think about the possibility of what would happen if the US was attacked.
I totally got into this entire series and it scared to think that these things are not as far fetched as we might think
Read all of the books. Eagerly looked for the next one. I also read his other series.
Fun stuff
representative of whats bad in the genre, didnt make it through the first book. more about the brutality than the solutions
Although fictional, it paints a picture of what could happen based on world avents of today. Are we ready if this turns out to be more than a fictional book? I don’t think so! Preppers just might be on the right track. Really a great read, just stared book three.
