Dull
Thought provoking.
Interesting enough story to keep me reading, but not very well written.
It had a different perspective of our future techology
Surprise end that hits you in last three pages of the story that you don’t see coming.
Great characters. I wasn’t expecting the twist at the end!
There was real potential in the premise, but it turned me off rather than on, and I didn’t finish the book.
I was hoping for more when I read this book. As someone who feasted on Asimov, Bradbury, Clark and Niven/Pointenelle , Bear and others I tried to read with an open mind. The story was too weighed down by dialog that went nowhere, side trips to points not needed. It was too long, too heavy and I frankly got bored.
Very unusual.
I lost interest after the first chapter.
Too much paranoia, just too weird.
Good to the very end. Surprises to the last page.
Just could not get into it.
I was a bit disappointed in this book. It kind of wandered around and at times was downright boring. I persevered and finished it. Because I hate cliff hangers I got the 2nd book of the series. I’m half way through it and, again, I find it has lags. This is the first book I’ve ever read that was written by a collective and so far I’m not impressed. It feels like the continuity of thought and action don’t flow seamlessly.
Very interesting and different
Really liked the twists and turns
I love reading and listening to there book series, The story’s just slowly sucks you in till you can’t put it down
Don’t like serials but was good.
Couldn’t finish it.
Not crazy about the ending, but entertaining.
