When the goddess Artemis goes missing, she is believed to have been kidnapped. And now it’s up to Percy and his friends to find out what happened. Who is powerful enough to kidnap a goddess?
Do I remember my Greek mythology? Not unless you count Disney’s Hercules. What about what happened in the previous two books of this series? I feel like remembering more might have increased my enjoyment, but either way it’s a fun, …

Greek mythology has long been a favorite subject of mine so I’m loving this series and it’s quickly becoming an all-time favorite.
I adore the characters and the portrayal of the gods. The writing is good and the flow is perfect for me. This was another quick, action-packed story and I flew through it. I laughed a lot with this one (the humor is …

It has been a while since I read book two, but it was super easy to get back into the world of Percy Jackson and his friends. Thanks to the great writing and in-story recap I never had the feeling that I have forgotten much, despite the long tome between the books.
Annabeth pretty disappeared during one of their adventures. Of course they have to …

I recently read the third book in the Percy Jackson series: Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse by Rick Riordan, published by Puffin Books. I still can’t believe I missed this series growing up–this book was published in 2007 and I would’ve been eleven, the perfect age for it. Still, I find this middle-grade fantasy series enjoyable as an adult, …

Another fun, adventure-filled story with Percy Jackson and his friends. Throughout the story, we learn more about each character as they search for Annabelle and Artemis. I am enjoying these middle grade stories that have some great messages throughout them for life too!

First off: love the purple cover with the black pegasus of the edition I read.
This book is much darker than its predecessors: instead of only almost dying, a couple of adventurers do pay the ultimate price for failing.
The worldbuilding is as excellent as before, loads of action and adventure, lots of twists and turns.
Thalia is an interesting …
