Cormac Delaney was everything I hated about men—arrogant, smug and condescending, but he was also everything my body responded to—gorgeous, tall, brooding, and confident. Oh, and he happened to be a partner at the publishing company I was trying to get signed to. My book—“Fu*#$@Boys”—about how men are selfish, sex-crazed pigs—was one vote away from being published—his vote. But not only did he … hate my book, he asked me a question that would change things between us forever:
“How can you be an expert on men when you’ve never been in a real relationship?”
He had a point, but I wasn’t about to let him know. Instead I did what any self-respecting writer and podcaster would do—I proposed a radical social experiment. Cormac and I would live together for one month as boyfriend and girlfriend. If he could change my mind about men I’d withdraw my book. If not, he’d agree to publish it.
My only condition? No sex, or anything physical, whatsoever.
I never thought he’d go for it, but I guess I was wrong about him, in more ways than one. Don’t get me wrong, I hate Cormac Delaney, even if he is easy on the eyes. . .fine, he’s good looking. . .alright, he’s hot as hell, but still! To do this I’m going to have to remind myself of a few things: we’re only an experiment, nothing more. He’s not the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen in my life, he absolutely does not have a body that makes me tingle in all the right places, and I’m never, under any circumstances, going to let myself fall for him. . .
Right?

Out of all the books by Christopher Harlan, I believe this one is my favorite. I loved the story between Tori and Cormac and their chemistry was off the hook. The bantering they had made me laugh and sometimes shake my head. I look forward to reading more by Mr. Harlan.
This book is amazing!! Tori Klein wants her book “F$*#boys” to become an actual, published novel to be shared with her #TorMenTors, but she went to the one publishing company that needs a unanimous vote.
Insert Cormac Delaney, the man who stops Tori’s dreams with a hard “No.” What in the world does this crazy woman think she is going to do, promoting man-hating ideas and her feministic ideology? It’s insane!!
Right??
Until Tori proposes an experiment of sorts: Spend a month together and prove her viewpoints wrong. Yes, the handsome publishing exec can take her on dates. Yes, they agreed on acting like a couple. Yes, they can kiss, but only three times.
Can Cormac and Tori make it through this experiment without catching feelings? Or will it all fall apart and Tori be proven right about her feelings?
This. Book. Is. Awesome!!
This is a cute romcom by Christopher Harlan. Tori hates men and thinks all men are the same, all they think about is s€x, they cheat and lie. She does podcast and vlogs and has a big following. She writes a book and presents it to a publishing company. The two women partners vote to publish but the lone man, Cormac, thinks the book will alienate men and when he finds she has had very little firsthand experience with boyfriends, he votes no. The company has a rule that all agree or they don’t publish. Tori has one month to change Cormac’s mind. She make a proposition…the two of them live together. The fun begins as they hash out rules and then move in together.
It’s funny and sweet with two strong characters. It took me a bit to get past Tori’s man-hater view, but I’m glad I kept reading. Cormac is the perfect man to change her mind set, but he has his work cut out for him. Loved the idea of their experiment. Lots of laughs.
This is (unless I missed a book of his) this author’s first romantic comedy. I l LOVED it! It is very different than what he normally writes but it’s absolutely brilliant. It is a well written, fun story that will keep you giggling throughout. The characters are likable and you will find yourself rooting for them to have their HEA.
To say I loved this book would be an understatement! This book was the best way to close out 2019. It’s a departure from Christopher Harlan’s usual trope, but he did an incredible job. The story gives you all the feels. It will make you laugh, tear up, shake your head, and just want to yell at the characters.
Tori is a social media princess. Her followers love her banter about men and their weird ways. She has made a name for herself calling out men. She lets others tell their stories and now she has compiled all her followers stories into a book. She is sure it will be a huge success. Unfortunately Cormac Delaney, a partner at the publishing house she goes is hoping to work with is not overly fond of her perceptions on the male species. To prove her wrong, he proposes an experiment. A chance to prove Tori wrong. As much as he wants to prove her wrong, he can’t help but fall for the kooky writer. The chemistry created for these two will keep you turning pages.
I have always enjoyed Christopher Harlans ability to write a story. He creates a lot of depth with his characters as well as some steamy scenes. Thank you Christopher Harlan for bringing this incredible rom-com to your readers. Like I said before, the perfect book to close out 2019. I can’t to see what 2020 brings from you!
I haven’t read many Rom Coms previously but is definitely a genre I’m going to dive into more. Tori is feisty and speaks her mind. She has a great following due to her podcasts and she’s someone I’d definitely follow! She wants to broaden her horizons and write a book.
Cormac is someone who can make it happen but he doesn’t understand her dialogue. The two of them just don’t see eye to eye but this story is so much more! Love how the story title plays a pivotal role in the storyline! Great read!
Tori has become famous on social media with her man bashing stories. She has lumped all men into the “men are pigs” category and is firm in that belief. When one of her fans, who is also a publisher, encourages her to write a book, FU*#$@boys is born. Cormac is the sole male partner at the publishing house and is not impressed with Tori’s generalizations about men and tells her so. Tori has one month to change his mind. They discover that the other has so many more layers than they first assumed.
This is a totally different style of book for Christopher Harlan and was fun to see him mix it up. Tori and Cormac made me laugh. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of Tori, the man hater, at first. I thought she was pretty cruel and judgmental. Once I got to know her better I realized she was projecting her fear onto all men. Cormac is arrogant and self-assured but over-all he was a good guy. The idea of the experiment made it even funnier. Totally recommend The Three Kiss Clause if you are looking for a fun read.
So we have a man basher and a romantic….what does that give you? A great Rom Com from aa ever greater author. Cormac and Tori are amazing. How can you not fall for a blue eyed hunk. But can he change your views…..you’ll have to read to know
An entertaining read with lots of laughs. A fun read.
This book is something that EVERYONE must must must read!
5 simply is not enough!!!
Everyone NEEDS a friend like Shoshana (I hope she gets her own book!)
The chemistry between Cormac and Tori is simply off the charts!
Not only do they have the chemistry, they just “get” each other and are able to keep things real.
I like how Christopher showed the softer side to both of them!
There were so MANY times that I was lol’ing family members were looking at me like I had lost my mind!
There were a couple times that my eyes did that leaking watery thing, but SO worth it!
Trust me, I can’t say it enough this is a MUST read for 2020!
As I began this book I was hooked from the first chapter, the hook sunk deeper with each chapter after. Tori, man-hater? I don’t think so! More like a woman who has never met the man to show her what she is deserves and what that can be worth. Cormac, chauvinist? Hardly! More like a man who speaks straight and knows what he wants….or does he?
Man I loved this book. The way these characters play with each other, fight each other and themselves trying to get the same thing in the end; even if they didn’t know what that was when their game began. Two people who could not be similar but refuse to see that they are both after the same thing. I love the comedy and entertainment these characters have and how they play off each other. And…Shoshana…I need to say no more!!! Priceless! I am looking forward to the next book.
For this bringing Christopher Harlan’s debut romcom I am highly impressed. I have been a fan for a while. Having read some of his other books, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Don’t get me wrong there is always humor somewhere in almost every book but a romantic comedy isn’t just a scene here and there. It is a whole other level. How do I judge if a romcom is a hit?? When my kids are asking me what’s so funny because I can’t contain my laughter. Did The Three Kiss Clause met or exceed these expectations? YES!! My youngest came in from another room to ask what I watching cause he could hear me two rooms away. So I guess you could say Harlan nailed it.
Harlan has already proven he is a true storyteller and this just adds another sub genre notch to his belt. The Three Kiss Clause has you laughing at stereotypes, and maybe even questioning if you generalize the opposite sex. Something I had truly never thought of until reading this book. Why?? I guess I should answer that question for you. One simple word or name, as it happens to be…Tori.
Tori is a woman on a mission. That mission is to get her book published. Tori is a huge female influencer. All about being a woman and not letting the men get you down, Tori’s book may just be a huge best seller. Just hearing about the book might get some feminist all ready to go and buy it, two of the three partners at a publishing company are all about publishing it. The third (and only male) doesn’t feel the same way. Tori has to figure out a way to get Cormac to see things her way.
Cormac doesn’t understand how a woman with such limited relationship experience can justify all the stereotypes that Tori has in her book. Quite frankly, he don’t want to publish it but knows that it would be good for his company. When Tori approaches him with an experiment that could possibly change one of their minds Cormac decides to join in. What ensues is nothing above hilarious, heartfelt, emotional, and mind changing. I know ya’ll didn’t really expect me to give you all the details, now did ya? I mean this is me after all and I did say this was a MUST read.
Keep an eye on Tori’s best friend. That woman is my spirit animal and so me!! And a little bird told me we might be seeing her again. I have my fingers crossed cause she is truly spectacular character.
I loved Tori and Cormac’s story. The chemistry was amazing. I feel Christopher Harlan can write any type of story and it will be astonishing. I could not put this book down.
What a fun read! A romance that they don’t want but happens. The reader gets the story from his and her perspectives and that’s just one way this book rocks! The characters are fill of life and you get to know them which I like. It’s a definite must read and I hope we get to see Shosh in another book, she deserves it
Each time I say it’s his best story yet, Christopher Harlan writes another winner. This story is witty and all sorts of crazy fun. Tori wants to be published and Cormac is all no with the man hating. Both are strong-willed and determined. What better way to convince each other how wrong they are than experimenting in a fake relationship. This was such a great read. I couldn’t put the book down. And who wouldn’t want a Shoshana in their life! #tormentors
The Three Kiss Clause is my first book by this author but if the rest are anything like this smart and oh so funny story, it won’t be the last.
Cormac and Tori were quite a pair! Cormac is one of three partners in a publishing house. Tori’s a widely acclaimed and well known social influencer and feminist. She’s also on the threshold of becoming an author. Only Cormac stands in her way.
Cormac is gorgeous and sexy, a total man’s man, but he’s also a sweet and kind guy. He’s a little taken aback by the premise of Tori’s book and his initial reaction to letting his company publish it is… hell no!!
Tori needs to change his mind and thankfully is given the chance to. With only a month to do so, she comes up with a plan and has her work cut out convincing Cormac to do her bidding.
He agrees but with stipulations and a clause… the Three Kiss Clause.
It’s funny and sweet with two highly charismatic characters and their friends and family. I enjoyed this story, the push and pull and the snarky, sassy banter between the couple. Well worth a read for newbies and fans alike.
Oil and water. From their first meeting, Cormac and Tori couldn’t be more different if they tried. But as different as they are, there are also some similarities. They are both strong and independent, but have issues admitting things not only each other but to themselves as well. Theirs is a fun look at the stereotypes and differences between men and women and just what might be possible if you let down some of the walls that you build around yourself when the chips are down.
Christopher checks off another trope on the list and does it convincingly. I don’t think I’ve read a book of his that I didn’t enjoy. They may not all grab you from the first page, but I know every one of them will be thoroughly enjoyed at the end.
As far as I’m concerned this rom-com is another hit for Christopher Harlan. Although Tori projects her intense distrust of all things male through her social media outlets/podcast and finally her book, I feel she is just lost in her memories of the worst EX ever. She can’t trust what is right in front of her. And that is the sexy book publisher, Cormac, her only obstacle to finally getting her book published. When he says no to her book b/c he can’t believe she would generalize the whole male species as man-whores and the like, Tori proposes an experiment. Unorthodox sure, but where it finally leads both MC’s is worth the read. Two opposites who snark at each other in the beginning, but develop real feelings for one another by the end, despite a misunderstanding. I loved the character development, even the side characters. Every girl needs a bestie like Shoshanna . Definitely check it out if you like your rom-com’s with a bit of witty bite, but a whole lot of HEA at the end.
Amazing fun read. Tori is one stubborn speaks her mind sexy woman. Cormac is one smart sexy man. He loves to push Tori’s buttons. They make for one feisty fun couple. Could not wait to see what they would do next.
