Keeps you interested & reading, good leading characters
I read the whole book just for completion sake – but seemed to drag along.

Good ending
The characters demonstrate their individual personal struggles will the plot unfolds about a 40 year old death of a teenager. Questionable religious organization lead by a prophet with blind followers with plans to procreate into a functioning community. A female English police detective already suffering PTSD throws herself into the mix while fellow officers are kept emotionally from her by a concerned supervisor. Plot slips and slides in many directions until the detective unwinds the total truth saving a quilt ridden boyfriend of the original victim so he can enjoy his children’s growing up
I found this to be quite a good read.
