A little predictable. Not as compelling as The Nightingale.
Very thoughtful regarding a young girl becoming pregnant at 17 and all the angst plus more that can go along with that dilemma. All of the characters were interesting and stayed true to their personalities throughout. No preaching was done, but as stated before, the resolutions were really thought out.
There is no love stronger than that between mother and child, even when the two aren’t related. This sweet story is about loss, healing, forgiveness, and love. Kristin Hannah delivers another well written tale with very real characters facing very real situations and heartbreaks wrapped up in the arms of unconditional love. (Yes, tears did come, …
