From International Bestselling author J.A. Belfield comes an intriguing erotic romance serial …Chase Walker: Founder of C.W. Consult. Sex therapist extraordinaire. And, without question, always in control. After years of schooling his emotions, Chase takes pride in his self-composure and firm lack of commitment. It takes only one, fresh-faced redhead in need of his services for all of that to … services for all of that to fall to pieces.
Abigail O’Shay is everything Chase isn’t. Sweet. Innocent. A virgin.
Chase has never wanted to defile anything more.
Except, if that whole therapist-client barrier isn’t enough of an issue, Chase’s own demons are only too happy to cock-block all the sinful fantasies treatments he has in mind for his latest client.
The Therapist contains all eight episodes of this romantic serial.
The Therapist contains adult themes of a sexual nature

This is a complete series of eight episodes of steamy reads that kept me glued to my kindle as I read the entire series! Good storylines and good characters kept my interest until the very end!
An absolutely wonderful ride Belfield takes us as readers on when we meet Chase Walker – the Therapist…the sex therapist. In each episode we get glimpses of new clients, new adventures, fetishes, ect. We meet Abby O’Shay – an innocent who has come seeking help and who quickly becomes Chase’s obsession. We get snapshots of his past and other characters who influence who he’s become now but it takes awhile for all the pieces to fall into place. Chase is tested time and again with each session he has with Abby until the breaking point…Chase puts everything in jeopardy for her and he can’t find that he’s sorry about it. In the end – both Chase and Abby must open up and be vulnerable in order to find the happiness they each want and deserve. A fantastic read / listen. I adored the accents and the narrators pitch and tone change for some of the characters. I loved Chase’s friend Jones – he’s such a great supporting character and I loved his interaction. Erotic but romantic – loved this read / listen – so glad I was able to get the entire collection – well worth it!!!
This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
*this review is based on the audio version of this read
I loved this erotic story and the sweet storyline! It’s told from Chase Walker’s POV, who is a sex therapist. Every part features another session in his clinic and the way Chase handles a bedroom problem or fetish of his clients. He‘s sexually aroused most of the time and is sometimes used in the therapy sessions as well. And then, one day, there’s Abi O’Shea who needs his help.
This review is based on the audiobook. Narration by Seb Yarrick is great! I absolutely enjoyed listening to him.
I hardly know where to start! This was definitely a book of two halves for me, so let’s go with the first half shall we. If you have found yourself at this book and review because you’ve heard it’s full of sex……you’re in the right place. I mean seriously. I only read erotic/erotica romance, so I am totally used to a lot of action, and I’ve read some truly delicious books that would not be considered frugal.
But THIS book? As of yet, this is by far more sex than I’ve read than in ANY other book (and I’m waiting to be challenged on this). I would say the first half of the book is a constant journey through the variety of sexual fantasies that make their way through Chases office and life. There are very few pages that don’t involve some sort of action. I was actually sexually exhausted, and starting to feel a little unclean. It’s dirty, and it’s graphic. There didn’t seem to be a storyline at that point, and I wondered how I could write a review for a book with no story, just fabulously written smut!
But, half way through things do calm down and low and behold we have a story (it’s entirely possible I was simply distracted until now). Turns out Chase isn’t just hot as hell sex on a stick, he has a history that will make us love him for just a bit more than his bedroom skills. He’s flawed, he’s damaged, and we watch him spiral into something somewhere between obsession, lust and love. This was a good read, and not just for the action . We got our touch of romance and love.
At this point I am going for full disclosure. This book is hot and dirty, something that at one point brought me very close to the point of no return…..if you catch my drift. JUST FROM READING. Worryingly, I was on a treadmill at the time. I literally had to close the app before I did in fact reach that point of no return. It will forever be known as the treadmill book….
So my very strongly worded advice to you ladies? Do no read and drive. Do not read and operate heavy machinery. Do not read and operate exercise equipment. You are not safe. Do not read in polite company. Do not read on public transport (unless public displays are your thing thing obviously). Do not read in work.
Find somewhere private, alone, where you won’t be interrupted, and keep a very large bottle of water close by, maybe a bit of cake for a sugar rush. Stay hydrated.
Notes to author – firstly, where can we find the ‘consultancy’ that inspired this story? And secondly, please can we have a book for bad boy Jones.
I was gifted an Audible version of this complete series from the author in hopes I would write a review.
Oh, my, word! It is so good! The whole relationship of Abby and Chase was just delicious! He’s a sex therapist. She’s an innocent virgin. Engaged to be married. He is instantly drawn to her; obsessed with her. But, NO, she is way off limits! Their story, his struggle, made this book for me!
Then, each of the eight episodes contains more cases for Chase to help. A wide variety of scenarios. And he is a very clever, kind, compassionate, understanding therapist.
I was very fortunate to be gifted this Audible Book. The narrator put so much into his performance of these characters. He brought all the feels, all the emotion, all the HEAT, even the nonchalance. I highly recommend this listen.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from Story Origin.
