Another great read!
Another thrilling read! James Acton and Laura Palmer have become some of my favourite book characters. The stories are always well written. The facts of history intermingled with fiction are believable and have you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout.
very convoluted. Plot is slow.
I have liked all of the James Acton/Laura Palmer books. It’s great to read about a couple who are caring, smart and allow each other to be intelligent.
I enjoyed this book. It was well written. I liked the dual timeline; the present as well as the crusades
This was a good read with interesting characters. Lots of action and return to ancient times and places.
Entertaining. Love the historical context.
Very good. We’ll researched and written.
His books are always action-packed! Plus I like the historical information as well!
I like technique of starting at an event during the Crusades and set it against a current event and back and forth. A great read with a tragic and wonderful outcome
I love reading about Templar history, and this was a very well-written, imaginative story.
Love the history interspersed throughout the stories. Have read a number of Mr. Kennedy’s books and thoroughly enjoyed the reads and will continue to do so.
Love the James Acton series
All of this series is a real suspenseful page turner.
The characters are incredible with delivery & fast pace. It’s an
pleasure to read the next page.
As usual this book is packed with action and suspense. You will not be disappointed by all the thrills and chills
I love every book in the James Acton series and this one is no exception. Great story line as usual and lots of action.
Same old plot; archaeologist gets clue to stunning find, gets chased by bad guys, survives endless challenges and traps, gets the gold. Cliche.
I did nor care for the all the jumping back and forth in time at the beginning of the book. It was a bit confusing and I almost stopped reading. But I liked the story premise and once I got past the history, it started to read better.
Knights Templar has always interested me. This story was very interesting and kept my attention.
