Gillian Morgan is an American surgeon who is running from someone in her past. She refuses to be controlled by anyone, let alone a man. Little does she know, but fate has a different plan.John Kenric is the ultimate British bad boy, a true alpha. He not only controls the European Underworld but prides himself on dominating everyone and everything. However, when he rescues Gillian, he learns there … learns there might be someone he finally can’t control.
Patrick O’Malley is not only John’s best mate but his beta in the Underworld. He and John share everything, including women. Hopefully, he will be able to add Gillian to that list, with or without permission.
Publisher’s Note: This is a steamy book about the mysterious Underworld, containing ménage, graphic scenes, and a theme of power exchange.

I did not particularly care for this book. I liked Gillian well enough. However the way John and, more so, Patrick treated women was a huge turn off. I have no idea how they managed to get so far and be so successful in the business world when they openly treat women as such. Calling women whores as a little start up company just seems like it would have been a no no. Also the cliffhanger was killer. To be fair, the book was well written – just not for me.

It’s not a full standalone book and you will need to read the next book. It’s full of dominating alpha jerks. The only males in here who aren’t dominant men are a butler (Stewart) and a male doctor (Dutch). Gillian is an American doctor who is in London trying to hide and start her life over. She gets thrown into a mess that has connection to her past while running in a park. She meets Patrick and John. Both men are bffs and “brothers”. They are rich men who are apart of legitimate and illegal worlds. Gillian has info they need and she just doesn’t trust anyone. There is some action, drama and lust. At all times the story comes from anyone and everyone’s point of view. It also ends before any of the real drama and action starts. It’s intriguing enough to annoy you where it ends and make you want or need to read the next book. Even though it annoyed me I want to read more.

Gillian is an American surgeon in the UK. She ran there to get away from a man who wanted to own her. She gets involved with John and Patrick by accident after she helps a man who has been injured. She has a book they want. Others want the book as well. But John and Patrick want her personally as well. This is a cliffhanger. I would have preferred to know this before I read the book as I usually wait until all books are available to read. But, it’s a good book and I will be reading the rest!
