Real life is no place for fairy tales… Kristin Hart has romantic notions of Scotland. Yet she never expects to find a real-life Scotsman in her Vermont hometown! Despite her instant connection with him, Malcolm MacDowell isn’t the Prince Charming she thought. Because no prince would shut down her factory–the one that means everything to her town. Really, she has no choice. Kristin hops on … choice. Kristin hops on the next flight to Edinburgh, determined to convince Malcolm her workplace should remain open. But the distraction of the man is almost too much. Still, the magic of the Highlands makes anything seem possible…even a happily ever after of her own.

This is a fast-paced Hallmark move. I love these characters that are strong and stubborn and kind. Worth the read, great details.

I got to 60% of the book. The storyline did interest me, a CEO who comes to America to see if a company is profitable or needs to be dismantled and falls half in love with an employee there but cannot reveal his identity. But the story was not for me, too long-winded. And even though I’m curious about the end, I can’t concentrate on it anymore

I really enjoyed the story of two strangers who meet at the factory. She works there and he is in the process of buying it. He is drawn to her but doesn’t come clean with her. How will she react when she finds out the truth? The story was well written and the characters come to life with such detail you feel like you know them.

This is the 3rd book I’ve read written by Cathryn Parry; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
This is the first book in the Sage Family of Scotland Series; Malcolm’s family is trying to buy the company that Kristin works for. When he shows up at the company she is assigned to show him around not knowing what he’s really there for. After the buyout they close down the company putting everyone out of a job so she packs up and moves to Scotland which is where he’s from.

A well written story with a very good storyline, that held my interest throughout. Kristin Hart and Malcolm MacDowall’s story of her trip to Edinburgh, Scotland when the plant in Vermont she works in is set to be closed with all jobs lost. I enjoyed seeing this story come together, it was well worth reading. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is an entertaining story with strong well developed characters and a romantic story line. The author does a great job painting her scenes and moving the story fluidly with her detailed writing. The secondary characters help to move the story along. I enjoyed reading Kirsten and Malcolm’s story.

I liked this story. This author’s writing style is a good one. It flowed smoothly. It was a bit slow but besides that, it was good.
