Many twists and turns in a intricate plot with various characters and puzzeling surprises which kept me wondering what more could possibly happen.
cliff hanger, since it’s the 2nd in a series.
This is a great story about a woman trying to save her marriage. She decides that she’ll go with her husband to London for the summer and persuades hubby to find the perfect couple to swap houses with. Anything and everything that could happen to this woman does happen. As she begins to realize the thugs after her think she’s the woman who lives in the London house, she also begins to suspect her husband is having an affair with his assistant. As she unravels the mystery (and murder), she’s in danger of losing her own life.
This book was quite good with a few twists and surprises.
Enjoyable read. Would read more from this author.
One of the best that I have read this year, and I read 2 to 3 books per week.
Good read
I just couldn’t put this book down. Lots of twists and turns but wonderful plot and really smart, courageous protagonist.
Well written, non-stop, can’t-put-it-down suspense.
I loved this Hitchcockian thriller of a woman who innocently swaps houses only to find herself caught upin a web of mystery and intrigue. (Not to mention a bit of romance.) Taut, suspenseful, and fast-paced, THE SWAP is a terrificread. I recommend it highly.
It was a great read!
The book was interesting, not one you would “ditch” because it was boring. It lagged in places, was a bit wordy in places, but all in all I liked the character and company. It was good enough, I am almist thru with the 2nd book, much better written, I must say. I encourage that read.
Suspenseful book part murder mystery . This book makes you think how well do you know someone. I enjoyed it . This couple switches homes and had a border. There is so much that is unknown even the other couple and her husband. It really is good.
I lost a lot of sleep because I couldn’t put this book down!
This book was off an running with unusual circumstances and a little action from the start. And it built up quickly. However, initially it felt a little rocky/stumbly and seemed a bit shaky or disconnected. I decided to push through since I was actually quite intrigued. After a bit the writing smoothed out even though the action picked up. I just found it a little over the top with all this woman experienced in such a short amount of time. And her husband…..what a lying doofis. I did end up really enjoying it and am looking forward to the next installment.
House swapping can be dangerous.
I didn’t care for it.
The book started off suspenseful but after a while it became kind of slow moving. There were no more twists and turns and no drama. The main character would get caught by the bad guys and then easily escape over and over. The bad guys seemed very ridiculous. There was also no reason to have the shady husband. The story would have been better without.
moved to slow for me.
part of series but stands alone
