The book was very well written. Taking place in Eastern Mass and Rhode Island, the settings are accurate and realistic. The characters are developed well, and a wide spread of backgrounds. It’s not just one super hero type, and tragedy is striking all around. The first book does not get into the causes of the disaster, just the experiences of …
A wild post-apocalyptic ride from start to finish. Great characters, nonstop action. Can’t wait to read more of this series!
Wow! Just wow! I stayed up all night reading this book. I immediately felt connected to the characters. It definitely will make you think about what could happen if there ever was an apocalypse. I liked this book so much, I ended up buying the other three books in the series. I would highly recommend this & the sequels.
Tsunamis, molten lava, earthquakes, fires, floods, the jaws of earth opening wide, swallowing up all in its path, is the end of the world near? Few will survive the rage of nature, fewer will survive the rage of humanity gone feral. How could this happen? Why? Who will survive in the end?
This is a story of the trials of some that did, their …
This was interesting, quick read. I would like more information about different characters and their feelings. I plan to read the other books in the series
Extremely good series! Could t put them down.
Another great zombie book that keeps you reading.
End-of-the-world without zombies (yeah). Seems as earth itself has decided to get rid of the cause of its own suffering. Good read, no favorites–anyone can die just like that! Unexpected twists and turns keep you reading on…
it was so good
I did not enjoy this book. Finished it because I’m stubborn. Really hoped it might improve. It didn’t. The writing wasimmature. The dialog was sophomoric at best. The reactions of many of the characters to horrific situations was not believable to me. This author has a lot of maturing to do. I won’t read the rest of the series.
Characters were somewhat interesting. Plot had promise, but it just turned into another zombie disaster.
Awesome series, I rarely buy entire series of books but this set just grabbed me. Hated to see it end!
Not bad at all. First book was good enough that I bought the second. Decided go stop there since it reached a decent plateau at that point, and was getting repetitive.
First in a series…easy to guess where it is going.
Hard to put down once you start reading. Am have just about completed the last book and am disappointed that there is an end, want more.
The day started out as a normal day. The earthquakes started with no warning with the earth opening up and swallowing all in its path. Soon other natural disasters follow as several groups of people fight to survive. They don’t know what is happening to the earth. Its a fight to survive and keep their friends safe. Loved the book. It’s full of …
Interesting plot and characters. Page turner.
Awesome series. Could of written more books. Was left wanting more!
A new twist on an old zombie theme.
There seems to be a trend by writers of series, they don’t let you in on the “why” it’s happening. Frustrating, but still a good book.
What can happen in a day… ?
