These stories are Christian faith based Books. Each one tests the Faith of the characters. no matter what is going on in their lives. Life, death, finding renewed faith, love lost a new one found, they all reflect on their relationship with God. The stories are sweet, some with danger, but it’s their belief that gets them through each crisis.
Cicely White narration was very good. I enjoyed listening to these stories.

‘A Tide Worth Turning’
A sweet romance with strong christian undertones. Being a Catholic Christian I was happy to notice the references were correct without prejudice. Immigration and citizenship are such hot topics right now. I was surprised to see it as part of this story.
‘Message In A Bottle’
A poignant story about loss, devotion, secrecy and trust. This is not a ‘happy’ story even with the HEA there is a sense of loss. Saying that in no way discounts the story. This journey shows the depth and near miraculous ways God works with hin the human spirit.
Cecily White did a good job narrating but I do wonder if a male voice would have been more effectiveness the stand out character, Kyle, was male.
‘The Shell Collectors Daughter’
A rather strange quirky story. Carinna is so sweetly innocent and delightful. It is not hard to imagine why she is so well loved. Dominic is more worldly aware. Carinna frightens and captivates him at the same time.
An delightful story with touches of sinister. I really liked the ide of having tea with God every Thursday.
‘Christmas By The Sea’
When looking at words to describe this story I didn’t see the one I wanted. Stressful and suspenseful. As I listened to this experience during a deadly hurricane I could picture it perfectly. My shoulders were tensed and my body read to jump into action. It’s good writing but not so good reading right before sleep.
I recieved a free Audible copy, at my request, in exchange for a honest review
I would recommend this collection to readers/listeners looking for very quick, clean romance stories.
My favorite story was Message in a Bottle. I would have liked Message in a Bottle to be a full-length book with more detail since it was such a unique premise for a story. With the entire collection, there was a lot of “this happened”, “he/she thought this” or “he/she just knew” and I would have preferred including the actual events in the story and/or being more descriptive about how and why. I didn’t feel very invested in the characters when it was just a mention of a past event or a feeling. For example, in Message in a Bottle, it would have been nice to see the relationship between Lexie and Kyle evolve before he disappeared. It was strange for Kyle to tell Lexie how much Morgan meant to him and for him to tell Morgan how much Lexie meant to him, but without any real events demonstrating how he felt about either woman.
I listened to the Audible version. The narration was good.
