For those who love humor as well as fast-paced mysteries, the “Stuff” series seven book collection has it all. Combining the stumbling shenanigans of James Lessor and Skip More, two twenty-something ne’er-do-wells trying to succeed as crime solvers produces laugh-out-loud moments while delivering a great mystery. For any fans of “the Hardy Boys” these books are a must read to witness them “all … grown up.”

Boring
Bumbling college graduates take on detective work while working undercover at various jobs.
Fun puzzlers!
Juvenile humor.
Mostly liked them but characters got to hard to keep straight in third one. Needed to be able to read straight thru and not over multiple days in order to really keep straight or maybe just be younger!
But very good author.
Hard to put down . A real page Turner and easy to read.
Funny premise and likable characters, although the appeal is probably more for the post-college set.
I bought the collection but after plodding through two of them I couldn’t stand anymore of dumb and dumber who somehow manage to stumble through their own idiocy and end up on top.
Amusing characters
Fun books to read. Just like young men and boys I’ve know all my life. Action with fun realism
I thought I might like this series as I enjoy Tim Dorsey’s books. The first book in this series just seemed like a bad Dorsey knock-off, and I gave up before I got halfway through it. Life is too short. I’m probably the wrong demographic to relate to an early 20-something slacker with an overconfident pal who doesn’t know how dumb he is, nor could I figure out why the slacker’s love interest, who was presented as bright, hard-working, and wealthy, would be hanging out with the two loser main characters.
A story of two best friends trying to comeup with ways to get rich quick. It was a fun read with a little mystery solving in the process. There were times when I laughed at their hijinks and other times just shook my head. I’m glad I bought the five book set for a dollar.
This isn’t my type of book. Juvenile humor. This is the story of a get rich schemer with a follower for a partner.
The book was okay but I am not into any bad language. It was good otherwise.
Hated it. Not for me this macho palsy-walsy stuff. The book has an audience, even loyal followers, I’m sure, but I am not one of them.
I am trying to finish it before moving on to other book bub choices. Not my favorite. I am a speed reader and this has been a month long process to finish.
Great books
Good characters, engaging stories.
Read first book. Could not get into second one. Just not my preferred type. Others may enjoy.
This reminds me of the books for teens
