For those who love humor as well as fast-paced mysteries, the “Stuff” series seven book collection has it all. Combining the stumbling shenanigans of James Lessor and Skip More, two twenty-something ne’er-do-wells trying to succeed as crime solvers produces laugh-out-loud moments while delivering a great mystery. For any fans of “the Hardy Boys” these books are a must read to witness them “all … grown up.”

Lots of bad language and demeaning language. I didn’t finish the book.
Don’t Waste your time
A good premise, but too much bro-conversation, not enough plot development. I really wanted to like this.
Funny stuff
Kind of dull, I read everything start to finish but put this aside for “later”
The Stuff Series: Complete Collection is 7 novels about Lessor and Moore, presented in one complete collection. The only down-side to this is, now that I’ve read the collection, there aren’t any more. Bummer. They’re fun and I’d really like to follow the boys of More or Less Investigations through their wacko assignments and stumble-bum successes. Here’s hoping Don Bruns writes more of them.
This series is short one goofy Great Dane short of being a Saturday morning cartoon. There’s a sameness to the plots, and the author has trouble moving the action ahead so the characters end up arguing both sides of every argument.
Better than I thought it would be. Entertaining and enjoyable.
Page turner. Well written and story line well maintained.
This was an interesting, entertaining collection. These stories held my interest until the last page.
A real funny & exciting read…an excellent book to read when you don’t want to concentrate too hard right before turning the lights out!!
Rolando
A good Florida read.
These stories are a Hoot! Believable stories of inept guys who are just trying to get ahead. The kind of schemes we’ve all tried, to get ahead in life. But without the murders! Glad to be a reader instead of one of the characters. But wouldn’t miss it for love nor money. Nice to see a lady as one of the good guys in these stories. Really satisfying reads.
Interesting story line, but too much “babbling” among the characters; made you skip portions of the book that didn’t seem relevant to the story line.
I thought it highly unrealistic….some young kids without any skills or knowledge interfering in law enforcement, getting in and out of dangerous situations unscathed, and then solving the crime. Just seemed. Like some dumb kids who didn’t use common or any other sense. I couldn’t “suspend my disbelief” no matter how hard I tried.
Frustrating characters. The action plodded on in implausible ways. I rather liked the main characters, Skip and James, but in the end, their actions just weren’t believable.
