Well I will say the atmosphere is spookyish but as far as horror goes this was extremely mild. Or maybe it’s just me
I enjoy this author’s writing and even though it’s a tad slow, he builds a good story and it kept me invested. There are a few WTH did I just read parts and I wouldn’t expect anything less in a horror book.
Overall, not a bad Spooktober read and for those who enjoy scary but still want to sleep at night, this would be a good one to try.
