A memorable night of passion refuses to stay just a memory in this sizzling and scandalous romance from bestselling author T L Swan.I was upgraded to first class on a flight from London to New York. The food, champagne, and service were impeccable. The blue-eyed man sitting next to me, even better. He was suave and intelligent. We talked and laughed, and something clicked. Fate took over and the … and something clicked.
Fate took over and the plane was grounded, and we had an unexpected stopover for the night.
With no plans, we made our own.
We danced and laughed our way around Boston and had a night of crazy passion that no woman would ever forget.
That was twelve months ago, and I haven’t heard from him—until today.
I started a new job and met the CEO. You can imagine my surprise to see those naughty blue eyes dance with delight when he saw me across the mahogany desk.
But I’m not that carefree girl anymore. My life has changed, I have responsibilities.
I just got an email.
He wants to see me in his office for a private meeting at 8:00 a.m.
Naughty blue eyes have no place in the workplace.
What kind of private meeting does he have in mind?

Emily and Jim share space in first class and flirt their way across the Atlantic until a snow storm has them changing stops and not landing in New York where Emily has an interview set up and landing in Boston where they spend a spectacular one night with no last names and no phone numbers exchanged. Twelve months later Emily finally makes it to New York, this time for her dream job, and the first day there on her tour she meets the CEO which usually does not happen and wonder of wonders it happens to be her Jim but he is not, he is Jamison Miles of Miles Media, her new boss. These two are perfect, she literally saves him and his sanity and even though it is not smooth sailing they find their way. I love how she is independent and not interested in his money, in fact, his money is a turn off for the most part but they make it work in the end…even if he has to work for it (which is a good thing). I’m looking forward to more in this series.
I love a book with lots of angst and drama. Jameson and Emily meet on a flight. The two have chemistry and their banter was funny at times. Now a year later she has the job she has dreamed of working at Miles Median. She wasn’t expecting to see Jameson and for him to be the CEO of the company. Things heat up in the office.
Really good book couldn’t stop reading it. It was believable and the main characters had amazing chemistry. Already bought the next book that comes out later this year. Highly recommend!!!
Loved this book! It had everything I like.
I enjoyed this book but a favorite it was not. Emily meets Jim in a plane and end up having drinks. She seems utterly annoyed by him but after a layover they end up sharing a night of passion. 12 months later it all changes when she finds he is the CEO of the company she has always wanted to work for. Can she get past her stubbornness, Can Jim get past his need to dominate outside of the bedroom. This was good but I have to admit there was a few times i wanted them both to stop with the fighting and just give in to their feelings. Stubbornness is something i deal with so feel like I can relate to an extent.
After a less than wonderful trip Emily is heading to a job interview for her dream job only to have the trip become an adventure she never would have expected. The man sitting next to her on the flight ends up being way more interesting than she originally thought and when they have to make a little small trip due to weather they decide to enjoy their little bit of time together. This book is full of twists that make it a lot of fun to read and will take you on a ride you aren’t expecting when the story begins.
Great escapist romance. Meet a guy in a plane. One night. So fun
Horribly written.
This was an unexpected book. When I read the blurb, I thought this sounds interesting, but it was not what I was expecting.
This couple meets on an airplane. Both not looking for anyone, but finding each other anyway. Unexpected circumstances cause them to spend a night together. And then it’s over, they both go on to their lives. But meet again 12 months later, again unexpectedly. And it’s awkward, and unforgiving, but they try to get past the attraction and magnetism to each other.
This story was really good. But the excellent part of the book was that camping scene!! I have never laughed so hard reading a book as I did throughout the whole scene. It was hilarious!
I loved the description of this book. After an airport mishap, Emily Foster gets upgraded to first class during a flight from London to New York City. She ends up completely enamored with her seat mate during the transatlantic flight. When their airplane is diverted to Boston because of the weather, Emily and Jim spend a scorching night together. But he’s gone in the morning and doesn’t so much as ask for her phone number. Flash forward a year and Emily moves to NYC and starts her dream job with Miles Media. Much to her surprise, the enigmatic and grumpy CEO, Jameson Miles, is her long lost lover.
I really enjoyed the first half of the book but then it started to drag on for me. A mystery is thrown in (someone is trying to destroy Miles Media) and Emily finds herself in the middle of it. The drama threatens Jay and Emily’s new fragile relationship. The loose ends are tied up rather quickly and then the book ends.
I was upgraded to first class on a flight from London to New York. The food, champagne, and service were impeccable. The blue-eyed man sitting next to me, even better.
When I read the blurb for this book I was excited to read it and the first few chapters were great, then it seemed to go downhill from there. I did enjoy it just not as much as I thought I would. The story line was good and the sex was hot it was the characters that got annoying, they changed so much. They both started off being very strong, independent and powerful characters that turned into weak, dependent whiney babies that unfortunately ruined it for me.
*************thats the amount of stars that this book deserves, the only wrong with this book is that it came to an end :(, but luckily enough there are more to come with the remaining Miles Brothers, but I really don’t think that Jameson Miles can be topped, not even by the amazing Ms Emily Foster.
Once again TL Swan has taken us into her amazing world of Alpha Men and in this case it is Jameson Miles, self diagnosed Workaholic Married to his CEO Position. That is until he realises that he should of asked for the phone no. of Emily Foster, as he remembers it “the best sex of his life” from one night of passion the two shared year previous during a forced Stopover in Chicago 1 year Previous.
Then with Emily starting a new job in the City that never sleeps New York, the two meet again when Emily realises that Jay the man she met on that fateful night is indeed her new Boss and Co Owner of Miles Media Jameson Miles.
I sat up all night reading this book, not wanting it to end. I laughed and giggled and nearly cried. (I held it in)But always in hope.
TL Swan once agin has delivered and had me spellbound and totally hooked, like she usually does.
My favourite author, my favourite reader group and Bring on the next book because The Stopover has now become a must REREAD.
Wow what a roller coaster ride this book was. I really enjoyed it even though there was a few “cheesy” scenes.
After an incident at the airport Emily gets moved to first class, she never expected to be sitting next to the incredibly hot Jim. The flirt the whole flight and then the chemistry flies when they have to have a stopover. Emily never forgot Jim or the night they have together, finally landing the job she always dreamed of she never expected that the CEO would be Jim, only that he was Jamison Miles of Miles Media.
Jamison works to much and can’t commit to a relationship, Emily isn’t into casual one-night stands, after a few miscommunications they agree to be friends and can’t deny their chemistry and agree that they will only sleep with each other exclusively, seeing each other a few times a week.
Can they both keep to the agreement or will they both realise they want more than a few nights a week with each other. Can Jamieson stop being the workaholic to make it work, and can Emily accept his life as Jameson or will she only love Jim.
This was my first book by TL Swan. I have to tell you, I was pleasantly impressed with the storyline. That being said, I am not sure that TL Swan would be a one click author for me. I just wasn’t grabbed by the story between Jamseon & Emily story. I may want to try something of hers again, but this one was just a book for me.
~ Review by Heidi Pharo
This is my first book by T.L. Swan and definitely not my last. Emily and Jameson have a chance meeting on a flight and their chemistry is undeniable. The stopover leads to an unforgettable night and then the pair part ways. A year later, their paths cross again and the attraction is still as intense. The story took a few twists and turns and the seamless writing leaves you wanting more. The flow of the story is well done, the love is heartfelt and at times, heartbreaking, and the happily ever after was well done.
Hot and Steamy
What a fun laugh out loud read. Jameson a billionaire meets Emily heading from london to the states. Emily
a young girl up graded to first class on the flight from London to NYC is seated next to the hot, handsome
Jameson. The plane is diverted because of a snow storm and they spend a night of hot sex together. He leaves
to go back to NYC without her name or number. Emily heads back to CA where she thinks she is still in a relationship with her loser boyfriend. The story takes quite a few turns and shows the power of love. I was drawn in from the first chapter. If you like a laugh out loud smart and sexy read this is the one for you. Sebastion York is the hot voice of Jameson and he takes you on an amazing ride. Now who does not want to take that ride.
When I first started reading this book I thought it wasn’t going to be for me. We had arrogant and cocky Jameson and we had Emily who was just a snarky brat through the first third of the book. After that though she changed, the real her came out and she got over it and was a character who I ended up enjoying. I think the thing I think I enjoyed the most is the fact that she didn’t just take Jameson back the first time he came around and she made him grovel and fight for her. This was a great story that sucked me in and didn’t let me go until I finished.
I spent a good amount of time reading this book completely frustrated with both the hero and the heroine. In the end, it made for a compelling story. A true opposites attract story. In no universe would these two ever make their way to each other. Jameson the staid, strong businessman and Emily, the bright, effervescent young lady with only one dream…..to work for Miles Media. A chance meeting in first class, a stopover and a night to remember is all these two can have. Fate has more in store for them though and what follows is pushing and pulling, yelling and shouting, loving and steam to the nth degree. Was the angst a bit much? Sure, but in the end, the mystery who done it and the connection these two mostly had throughout, made it worth the read and putting more of the authors books on my TBR list.
