The Fire Element, Lee, has stolen Celine from the others. Celine’s destiny was tied to his first, and unlike the others, he had already risked all and lost.
Now is his chance to redeem—his powers, Celine, and himself.
Celine journeys with Lee reluctantly. She longs to cross this realm and return to her elements.
For Lee, this journey is about one thing. To show her they belong together. … journey is about one thing. To show her they belong together. That it was written in the stars by the old mages that Fire and Water would rule together and restore balance to the realms.
Winning Celine’s love and affection will be his challenge. Staying alive will depend on them both. They will have to learn to work together and to trust one another. But a lingering threat lies between them.
Destiny has two sides. In one, there is love, forgiveness, and sacrifice. On the other, it’s darker, painful in its hate where their blood will flow.
Will Celine give up the others for a destiny full of love, or will she keep them and potentially become Lee’s enemy?

Fire Element
In this 2nd book of The Elemental Chronicles we find the Princess has been stolen by Brown the ogre who has drove her crazy for 5 yrs at the convent. We eventually find out who Brown really is and it is a person from her past. She has a connection with him. He is trying to give them time away from her other elementals so they can bond but she is having none of that.
Their journey brings them closer and she is confused on what to do with her growing feelings for “Lee” a fire elemental. They face a lot of hazards on their way to a tiny village that Lee is taking them to.
I really enjoyed this 2nd installment and am excited to read the next book.
The world build up was very clean and well written. The characters have a great chemistry and connection. They need each other and her other elements to save their world. The next part of this journey should be very interesting.
I loved book one so was excited to read book two and it did not let me down! Another fantastic journey into this amazing magical world that once again I fell into. Celine and Lee must travel together, must gain each other’s trust, must try to stay alive and hopefully fall in love. The elements are growing, the characters are growing, the storyline is growing and it is oh so good!
This is definitely an interesting book that draws you into the world. It was a slow burn story, drawing you in as they both fight their attraction to each other. I loved both main characters, but to me Lee kind of stole the show. All the pain he went through, kind of broke my heart at times. All of the side characters are also well written and offer so much to the story. As the book progressed, both main characters had things they needed to do to move towards their goals. I enjoyed watching them grow together. I recommend this book it was a different RH read, but with giving a try.
I really enjoyed this book. Great characters in this story. Celine is stolen from the covent she is staying at. Her and her captor go on an adventure to get to a place where he can tell her everything. She leaves behind her other mates who are on their way to get her back. She learns along the way who her captor is and why they need to be together. It’s got love and magic in it as well.
Book 2 continues Celines story and takes on her relationship with Lee, a fire elemental. I love that this is a different version of a verse harem, where the female lead gets to bond with each men separately. Lee and Celine battle their attraction since they’re not supposed to be attracted to each other, and this is the largest point of contention in the book. And once they work together and give in to it, the steam gets turned up.
Book 2 did not disappoint! This is a must read series. The elements have a growing bond that is lovely to watch unfold and the world that was created and reading about the harem grow in each book is hot!
Lee has taken Celine with him in a desperate attempt to show her why he is important in her life, and to try and form a connection with her again after it being shattered by the curses that were placed upon them. Walking away puts strain on the bond she has with Tate though, and a bad history with fire elements doesn’t help her put her trust in Lee. Will they find a way to be together, or will it tear them all apart?
This second book in the elemental chronicles focusses on the relationship between Celine and Lee. I liked the way the author made it develop in a slow but profound way, because Celine has to conquer a lot of prejudices before she can be able to give Lee a chance. If you prefer a fast burn and instant connection between people, this isn’t the book (or series) for you, but if you enjoy connections that need time to build and that need to conquer a lot on the way, I believe you might like this one. I enjoy the way this series focusses on the connections between people, and how all of them need to find balance within themselves as well. They are all connected with their elements in a different way, and balance with all these powers doesn’t come easily. It makes it into a series that is highly focussed on the characters and their personal growth.
I recommend reading this series: it is something different than other RH books and it might take some time to get into, but it is also enjoyable to read. I am definitely looking forward to find out more about Jacob, Brier and Lindon in the next books of this series.
An interesting reverse harem that seems logical in a world of magic. Out of many reverse harems, this concept seemed a bit more believable for its time setting and the story was interesting. I liked the bit of fairy tale qualities to the tale.
I loved the continued world and relationship building that continues from The Water Princess. Celine is a great, ever-evolving character and I’m enjoying watching her learn more about herself, her powers and her men. I totally fell in love with Lee and can’t wait to see more of everyone. Especially London and Jacob.
This is an amazing book! I loved it! The first book in this series is awesome, and I loved it, but this second one blew me away! This book concentrates mostly on Lee and Celine and their venture to love! The trials and tribulations they go through and new characters we meet are fantastically written! I could not put this book down! I am so excited to see what happens in the next book!
Update: I just read this for a second time with the all new added content, and let me just say, I am even more amazed by this story! I absolutely loved the additions!
